With an investment of more than USD 880 million, the construction of Siem Reap Angkor International Airport is underway on 700 hectares of land in Sot Nikum district, Siem Reap province. The airport is situated about 50km away from Siem Reap City.

The international airport will be classified as 4E, which enables it to accommodate long-haul aircrafts.
