Laos Welcomes New AVATR Electric Vehicles

This Week

On 29 November, AVATR introduced its electric vehicle lineup to the Lao market with a launch at Parkson Shopping Mall. Under the slogan “New Era, New Luxury,” Laothani Co., Ltd. announced itself as the brand’s exclusive distributor in Laos.

Laothani Managing Director Ladsasiphon Phimphachan opened the event and underlined the company’s plan to guide the country toward modern, future-focused mobility. He noted Laothani’s four decades of service in Laos and pledged to raise customer experience through stronger service standards and improved support systems.

Sales and Marketing Manager Buakeo Phonvida provided an overview of AVATR, a brand formed in 2018 through a partnership involving Changan, CATL, and Huawei. He emphasized the international design leadership of German designer Nader Faghihzadeh, who shaped the brand’s visual identity.

The launch spotlighted three key models. The AVATR 11, known for its ascent to Mount Everest Base Camp, drew steady attention. The AVATR 12 stood out with its sleek, luxury-oriented design, while the AVATR 07 appealed to visitors seeking a versatile mid-sized SUV.

AVATR Laos also outlined its customer benefits, including support from a trained technician team, an 8-year/160,000-km warranty for the battery and motor, and a complimentary home charger with each purchase.

The event attracted a strong crowd, with visitors exploring the vehicles throughout the afternoon. AVATR’s arrival adds fresh momentum to Laos’ growing interest in electric mobility and signals a competitive new chapter for the local automotive market.
