Another important milestone is set to take place in Luang Prabang as Lao Development Bank (LDB), in collaboration with TangChareon (TCR) Group, advances a new project aimed at bringing an international hotel brand to Luang Prabang.
This collaboration is not merely about providing funding to support a project. It also reflects a shared vision between the business sector and the banking sector to build businesses while laying the foundations for future growth.
TangChareon (TCR) Group: “Social Growth Integrator”
“Social Growth Integrator” is a concept that reflects TangChareon (TCR) Group’s role as an integrator of social growth, connecting business development with the growth of communities and society through collaboration and valuable, sustainable business partnerships.
The approximately 21,416-square-metre plot of land designated for this new project was purchased by the Group’s Chairman more than 10 years ago, driven by a vision to develop and expand the Group’s hotel business from southern to northern Laos. This collaboration to advance the project therefore marks an important step in turning that vision into reality. The project will be the fourth hotel developed under TCR Group.
A New Milestone for Luang Prabang
The project involves a planned total investment of more than USD 12 million, with the aim of developing an international hotel brand that will expand accommodation options and create new experiences for tourists.
The project concept focuses on combining the brand’s service standards with the charm and identity of Luang Prabang, allowing guests to experience the atmosphere of a World Heritage city alongside the comfort and convenience of their stay.
This development will further strengthen Luang Prabang’s accommodation capacity to welcome tourists and support the long-term growth of Laos’s tourism sector.
