Build4Asia 2025 Opens Today, Paving the Way to Smarter and Greener Construction

HONG KONG, July 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Build4Asia 2025 – Asia’s premier trade show for the building, electrical engineering and security industries, officially opens its doors today at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong. Over the next three days, the expo will present an extensive showcase of cutting-edge technologies, thought-provoking conferences and vibrant networking opportunities. The expo opened today with a grand opening ceremony officiated by Ir. Poon Kwok Ying, Raymond, JP, Director of the Electrical & Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR Government. Over 200 guests, including industry leaders and media partners, attended to kick off three days of industry exchange and regional collaboration. “For over 40 years, Build4Asia has been at the forefront of innovation in the security, building and electrical engineering industries. Carbon Neutrality in Focus at Build4Asia Conference

The show floor will come alive with a packed schedule of forums and conferences, exploring every corner of the construction industry. At the heart of the programme is the Build4Asia Conference, themed Pioneering Green Building Technologies and Digitalisation for Carbon Neutrality“. The conference highlights the role of sustainability and digitalisation in shaping the future of construction. Keynote speaker Mr. Andy Cheng, Director of Innovation and Technology at China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited, will share valuable insights on the Northern Metropolis development and the emerging opportunities for construction innovation.

Strategic Partnership Announced to Advance Asia’s Facility Management

Build4Asia and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) – Hong Kong Chapter signed a Memorandum of Understanding to co-host World Workplace Asia Pacific — the region’s leading facility management conference in 2026. This strategic partnership will unite facility leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region to advance decarbonisation, pursue net-zero goals, and accelerate technology-driven transformation.

A Knowledge-Packed Three-Day Experience

More exciting events are set to follow, with Build4Asia Forum as one standout highlight on Day 1 afternoon. Asia Pacific Urban Energy Association (APUEA) from Thailand will take center stage, leading an inspiring panel discussion on the region’s energy transition.

Day 2 opens with the Asian Securitex Conference, a vital platform for policymakers, industry experts and business leaders to explore the development of security intelligence. Highlights include sessions by Mr. Stephen Yip, Chairman of the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority and Mr. Francis Chan, Assistant Director of the Security Bureau of HKSAR Government, who will address cybersecurity laws, compliance and enterprise responsibilities in Hong Kong.

The spotlight will turn to Architects’ Forum on the last day, a dedicated learning platform focused on sustainable designs and green building materials.
