CEC Approval Secured for GoodWe’s Three-Phase ESA All-in-One Energy Storage System

SYDNEY, Feb. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — GoodWe Australia announced that its new Three-Phase ESA All-in-One energy storage system has received Clean Energy Council approval, making way for installations across the country from late March/early April. The Three-Phase ESA joins the Single-Phase ESA, extending GoodWe’s All-in-One energy storage range for Australian homes.

GoodWe's New Three-Phase ESA Series Energy Storage System
GoodWe’s New Three-Phase ESA Series Energy Storage System

Designed specifically for homes and small to medium businesses with three-phase power, the ESA integrates a solar inverter, high-voltage battery, and intelligent energy management system into a single unit. With inverter capacity from 5 kW to 29.9 kW and 5 kWh to 108 kWh of storage, the Three-Phase ESA offers substantial flexibility for a wide variety of energy needs.

Traditional battery systems often require separate components installed across multiple locations. The ESA’s pre-wired, modular design combines everything into one enclosure, simplifying installation, reducing commissioning time, and lowering the risk of compatibility issues.

Built using lithium-iron-phosphate battery chemistry, the system prioritises safety, durability, and long-term performance. Multiple layers of protection and advanced arc-fault detection and fire suppression technology further enhance safety for households and businesses.

Energy independence within reach

The ESA is ideal for properties seeking to reduce electricity bills, increase energy independence, and maintain power during grid outages.

“We are pleased to add the Three-Phase ESA to our robust lineup of energy storage solutions, further solidifying GoodWe as one of Australia’s leading battery manufacturers,” said Dean Williamson, Country Manager for GoodWe Australia and New Zealand. “The expanded solar production and storage capacity for three-phase dwellings and buildings offers energy independence to those looking to drastically reduce or eliminate energy bills.”

A key advantage of the ESA platform is its scalability. Storage capacity can be expanded over time by adding battery modules, allowing customers to start with a smaller system and increase capacity as needs grow. This is particularly useful for households planning future electrification, electric vehicle charging, or increased energy consumption.

The system is also designed to provide whole-home backup, automatically switching to stored energy almost instantly when the grid fails. This capability is increasingly valuable as extreme weather events and network constraints lead to more frequent outages in some regions.

In addition to backup protection, the ESA features intelligent energy management designed to optimise how energy is generated, stored, and used. The system can prioritise solar self-consumption, charge during cheaper off-peak periods, and reduce reliance on expensive peak electricity.

Expanded flexibility for more applications

The three-phase design makes the ESA especially suitable for larger homes, rural properties, workshops, and commercial premises that require higher power output than single-phase systems can deliver. It also supports both grid-connected and grid outage conditions, with the ability to run multiple units in parallel for larger installations.

High efficiency and strong solar input capability allow users to capture more energy during daylight hours and use it when needed most. This helps maximise the value of rooftop solar systems and reduces dependence on grid electricity.

CEC approval confirms that the system meets Australia’s stringent safety and performance requirements, allowing customers to access applicable rebates and incentives where available.

The CEC-approved Three-Phase ESA All-in-One will be available through authorised installers nationwide, with stock expected to be available from mid-March via GoodWe distributors.

Amber integration

With beta testing in its final stages, homes looking to benefit from wholesale energy market trading with Amber will soon be able to capitalise on extended savings with the ESA series. More information will be available soon.

Thailand to Raise International Departure Tax by 53 Percent from 20 June

This photo is used for representational purpose only.

Thailand is set to increase the international departure Passenger Service Charge from 20 June.

The move will be implemented across six major airports, which include at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai, Phuket, and Hat Yai airports.

The new rate raises the fee from THB 700 to THB 1,120 (approximately USD 36), a 53 percent increase, and will apply to international departing passengers.

Meanwhile, the domestic rates remain unchanged at THB 130 (about USD 4.1) per passenger.

Airports of Thailand in a statement on their website stressed that the passenger service charge is not a tax or profit-generating measure, but is reserved exclusively for airport operations and infrastructure development, subject to ministerial approval.

Revenue will fund upgrades including the satellite terminal project at Suvarnabhumi, terminal improvements at Don Mueang, and the rollout of the Common Use Passenger Processing System to reduce waiting times and improve check-in efficiency.

This move puts Thailand second only to Singapore for exit charge prices, with other countries in the region remaining cheaper.

Thailand welcomed 32.9 million foreign tourists in 2025, with Suvarnabhumi alone handling nearly 60 million passengers, including arriving and transit travellers, that year.

Wel-Bloom Navigates Malaysia’s 2026 Sugar Tax Through Innovative Functional Jelly Technology

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Media OutReach Newswire – 26 February 2026 – With the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia prioritizing the suppression of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the 2026 budget, the domestic food industry is grappling with unprecedented ‘formulation anxiety.’ As the potential expansion of the Sugar Tax and stricter Nutri-Grade systems loom, experts view 2026 as a definitive tipping point. Mirroring Singapore’s regulatory model, products labeled ‘Grade D’ (high sugar) face immediate advertising bans, effectively silencing their brand voice. As tax thresholds broaden to include categories like powder sachets, sugar reduction has shifted from a health trend to a non-negotiable requirement for profitability and retail viability.

While brands strive to balance flavor with health, reducing sugar poses formidable technical challenges. Removing sucrose often introduces a medicinal aftertaste that compromises the consumer experience. Furthermore, in functional jellies and gummies, sugar is essential for structural stability; without it, products frequently suffer from syneresis (water separation). In the high-temperature climates of Southeast Asia, this structural failure leads to ‘bursting juice’ upon opening—a critical quality defect.

To navigate these complexities, Wel-Bloom—Taiwan’s leader of jelly supplements—unveils the FRESH-Jelly® technology. Utilizing advanced physical structural reorganization, FRESH-Jelly® ensures a moisture-locked, resilient texture that withstands the rigors of tropical climates. Rather than relying on artificial sweeteners, Wel-Bloom leverages its proprietary ‘Healthy Sweetness Strategic Library’ of natural alternatives to maintain a superior flavor profile. Furthermore, this innovation disrupts traditional OEM reliance on preservatives, achieving a clean-label, preservative-free product without compromising the integrity of its sugar-reduction goals.

As a premier dietary supplement manufacturer—backed by both NSF-GMP and comprehensive HALAL supply chain certifications—Wel-Bloom empowers Malaysian brands to navigate MOH regulations with precision during early-stage development. Our expertise ensures that products bypass ‘Grade D’ risks, seamlessly transforming health-conscious formulations into the ‘great flavor’ that drives consumer loyalty. As the 2026 policy landscape tightens, Wel-Bloom is committed to helping clients across Malaysia and Singapore convert regulatory challenges into a sustainable competitive advantage.

Advanced Hybrid Technology Empowers the “Travel+” Strategy — JETOUR T2 PHEV Leads the Hybrid Off-Road Segment

WUHU, China, Feb. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In recent years, JETOUR’s T Series has delivered excellent results in the light off-road segment worldwide. In 2025 alone, the global sales of the T Series exceed 300,000 units. In markets such as the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, it has consistently ranked first in its boxy category. Within 28 months of its launch, T2 achieved a cumulative sale surpassed 439,000 units, making it a key pillar of the JETOUR lineup. Above this, the T2 PHEV extends the model’s powertrain type with advanced hybrid technology, expanding both driving scenarios and the spirit of exploration.

Hybrid Power: A Practical Answer to Multi-Scenario Mobility

Today’s mobility patterns are more diverse than ever. Daily commutes, weekend trips, cross-city journeys during holidays, and occasional off-pavement driving all place higher demands on vehicles. Pure electric models offer lower running costs and quiet driving in urban settings, but long-distance travel still raises concerns about charging efficiency. Traditional gasoline-powered vehicles provide reliable range and fast refueling, yet face technical limitations in power response speed, driving smoothness, NVH performance, and environmental impact.

Balancing costs, range, and driving experience across different scenarios is the key focus of the T2 PHEV. It features a 1.5TD dedicated hybrid engine, a 3DHT transmission, and a large-capacity hybrid battery delivering up to 173 km of pure electric range. T2 PHEV offers a balanced solution. For daily commuting, it prioritizes electric power, making the ride quieter and smoothier. During long-distance or mid-to-high-speed drive, the engine and motor work collaboratively to maximize energy efficiency and deliver strong performance. Compared with a single power source, the hybrid architecture offers greater flexibility across driving scenarios, and adapts more naturally to real-world use.

Hybrid+ Off-Road: Proven Capability Drives Demand

In terms of drivetrain, the T2 PHEV features a three-motor four-wheel-drive system with wheel-end torque reaching 7,700 N•m. It offers differential locks and multiple driving modes, allowing the vehicle to adapt to various terrains. Electric four-wheel drive delivers instant torque at low speeds. On gravel roads during camping trips, or when starting on soft sand, the system reduces wheel slip and hesitation. This advantage becomes even clearer in recovery situations or uphill starts. With generous ground clearance and solid chassis protection, the T2 PHEV goes well beyond the limits of a typical urban SUV. At the same time, it retains comfort and efficiency for daily use. From the perspective of product logic, this balanced capability fits how most users actually drive—not extreme, but versatile and reliable.

Advanced Hybrid Technology Brings More Possibilities to “Travel+” Strategy

Supported by advanced hybrid technology, the T2 PHEV holds clear advantages. Compared with traditional gasoline-powered AWD vehicles, its hybrid four-wheel-drive system offers more precise power distribution and better energy management. Compared with typical urban hybrid SUVs, it delivers stronger off-road capability and a stiffer chassis. Features such as 3.3 kW external power discharge and stationary air conditioning add practical value in camping and outdoor settings. These are not hardcore off-road features, but they connect closely with real travel needs. The T2 PHEV enriches the JETOUR product matrix and offers a more capable and realistic choice for the “Travel+” strategy.

Overall, building on the T2’s light off-road positioning, the T2 PHEV pushes the boundary further with advanced hybrid technology. It empowers the “Travel+” strategy and leads the hybrid off-road segment with a forward-looking technical approach.

Southco Introduces New Folding T-Handle Compression Latch

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 26 February 2026 – Southco has launched the new N5 Lift-and-Turn Compression Latch, featuring strong sealing action and a broad, ergonomic t-handle in a single compact piece of hardware.

N5 Lift-and-Turn Compression Latch
N5 Lift-and-Turn Compression Latch

The N5 Compression Latch is designed for ergonomic operation, even under harsh conditions. The folding t-handle is easy to grip and actuate, even with a gloved hand, so operators can prioritize their safety and still work efficiently. When not in use, the handle folds neatly into the latch housing for a low-profile look that eliminates catch points.

The folding T-handle is not the only low-profile aspect of the N5 Compression Latch. The entire device is designed to take up minimal space on a panel and protrude as little as possible into an enclosure. With these design choices, engineers can maximize their internal and surface space while still leveraging the ergonomic and sealing benefits of a t-handle compression latch.

Despite its compact design, the N5 is NEMA4/IP65 sealing compliant, and provides strong compressive force to protect valuable interior components. When paired with the right gasket, its compressive force forms a seal around a panel that guards against harmful outside elements like dust and water. Even without a gasket, compression also prevents the panel from rattling against its frame as interior components work, keeping your device quiet.

Finally, the N5 Lift-and-Turn Compression Latch has a variety of locking options and a non-locking variant to accommodate all security needs. These include key-locking cores and tool-operated options such as No. 2 Phillips recess, slotted recess, and hex recess. The N5 adapts to meet the security needs of each user without additional customization.
