Proven In-Car Entertainment Solution Delivers Immersive Media Experiences and Transforms New Kia Models into “Living Spaces on Wheels”

SEOUL, South Korea, July 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — LG Electronics (LG), a leading innovator in mobility technology, announced that its webOS-based Automotive Content Platform (ACP) will power in-car streaming for Kia Corporation’s new European models.  Debuting on the recently introduced EV3, the platform will also be extended to the upcoming EV4, EV5 and New Sportage. LG’s ACP runs on the powerful and versatile webOS platform, which already powers over 240 million LG Smart TVs worldwide. Building on the TV platform’s proven reliability and intuitive user experience, the automotive-optimized webOS offers drivers and passengers instant access to a wide array of content and services, tailored specifically for the in-car environment.

As a core component of “LG AlphaWare,” the company’s comprehensive software-defined vehicle (SDV) solution suite, the ACP redefines the car as a true “living space on wheels.” The platform allows passengers to stream their favorite content directly on the vehicle’s infotainment display,* delivering an experience comparable to that of a smartphone or smart TV – while adhering to driving safety regulations.

Kia’s European model lineup will offer a diverse in-car entertainment experience, featuring popular content from platforms including Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, LG Channels, Baby Shark World for Kids, Stingray Karaoke, Play.Works, Haystack News and Vasari. Later this year, the content library will expand to include Rakuten TV, Napster, and German OTT service Joyn. Available only when parked, these video streaming services let occupants turn the car into a private cinema – further enhancing the in-car media ecosystem.

“By bringing the webOS Automotive Content Platform to Kia’s European model lineup, we are making it easy for people to enjoy their favorite content wherever they go,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “LG remains committed to enhancing partnerships and expanding our content ecosystem to deliver premium in-vehicle entertainment and next-level connectivity.”

An automotive data plan is required to access streaming services. Access to certain apps may require a separate subscription.

Penta Security’s leadership in creating intelligent, high-performance web security solutions that address the rapidly evolving threat landscape while delivering measurable customer impact.

Frost & Sullivan evaluates companies through a rigorous benchmarking process across two core dimensions: visionary innovation and customer impact. Penta Security excelled in both, demonstrating its ability to align intelligent cybersecurity innovation with real-world application and operational excellence. “Penta Security’s ability to analyze and anticipate new threat vectors is rooted in its deep expertise and technical leadership. Its WAPPLES solution consistently delivers intelligent, high-accuracy protection, setting a new standard in the South Korean WAF market,” said Ying Ting Neoh, industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan.

Guided by a long-term growth strategy centered on intelligence-driven innovation and strategic partnerships, Penta Security has demonstrated remarkable agility in addressing evolving customer needs. Its continued investment in proactive threat detection and advanced API protection has enabled the company to scale its WAF solutions across public sector, fintech, eCommerce, and cloud infrastructure environments.

Innovation remains central to Penta Security’s approach. Its flagship solution, WAPPLES, is powered by the patented Contents Classification and Evaluation Processing (COCEP™) engine, which utilizes behavior-based logic instead of traditional pattern matching to detect both known and unknown threats in real time. This intelligent detection mechanism minimizes false positives and accelerates mitigation without frequent signature updates. “Since its launch in 2005, WAPPLES has maintained its position as the undisputed leader in Korea’s web security market. With its exceptional detection accuracy and low false positive rate, WAPPLES has been adopted in 171 countries worldwide and is now recognized as a top-tier WAAP solution globally,” said Taejoon Jung, Director of Planning Division at Penta Security.

Penta Security’s commitment to customer-centric design is evident in its flexible deployment models and robust support systems. Whether deployed on-premises, as a software appliance, or as a cloud-based service, WAPPLES seamlessly integrates with multi-cloud and hybrid environments, supporting platforms such as AWS, Azure, and NAVER Cloud. The company enhances customer experience through its 24/7/365 information delivery and incident management systems, Self-Diagnostics, and Periodic Inspections tools that ensure system stability and continuity.

Frost & Sullivan commends Penta Security for its strategic foresight in aligning innovation with market needs, setting a high bar in execution and customer satisfaction. The company’s focus on intelligent detection, operational efficiency, and sustainability has positioned it as a frontrunner in South Korea’s web security space.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents the Company of the Year Recognition to a company that demonstrates outstanding strategy development and implementation, resulting in measurable improvements in market share, customer satisfaction, and competitive positioning. The recognition honors forward-thinking organizations that are reshaping their industries through innovation and growth excellence.

Weichai Power Launches Singapore’s First 100% Biodiesel Research Harbour Ship

SINGAPORE, July 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The President 100, a 16-metre harbour ship powered entirely by 100% biodiesel (B100), was officially launched in Singapore. The vessel is equipped with two Weichai WP13C450-18BF marine engines and two CCFJ20J-W5BF generator sets, providing the core propulsion system for this milestone project.

Jointly developed by Weichai, the China Classification Society (Singapore), Nanyang Technological University’s Marine Energy and Sustainable Development Centre (MESD), and Pinnacle Marine, the launch marks the start of full-scale operational testing for B100 marine fuel in real-world conditions.

Built by local shipyard Pinnacle Marine, President 100 will undergo a 1,000-hour continuous trial in Singapore’s port waters. The trial aims to assess B100’s long-term performance, emissions, and reliability — providing critical data for the development of future refueling, storage, and operational standards.

As one of the key clean-energy solutions in maritime decarbonization, B100 biodiesel offers an immediate pathway toward net-zero operations. Weichai’s high-efficiency marine power systems optimized for B100 not only reduce emissions, but also set a benchmark for the global shipping industry’s green transformation.

This project is expected to serve as a reference model for Singapore’s maritime energy transition and contribute to establishing industry-wide standards for biodiesel-powered vessels.

This recognition highlights TC&C’s leadership in redefining enterprise communication security through its next-generation platform, Deepfake Guard.

Frost & Sullivan evaluates companies through a rigorous benchmarking process across two core dimensions: strategy effectiveness and strategy execution. TC&C excelled in both, demonstrating a clear product-market fit and the ability to scale secure AI-driven solutions across regulated industries. “TC&C’s Deepfake Guard is not just a defensive tool—it’s a proactive shield designed for real-world operational environments,” said Elka Popova, research, vice president at Frost & Sullivan. “Its unique ability to detect and neutralize AI-driven voice and video impersonation during live interactions, rather than relying on post-event analysis, gives it a clear edge in enterprise-grade protection.”

Guided by a strategy rooted in direct industry engagement and iterative product development, TC&C has proven its ability to respond to high-impact challenges with highly effective, readily deployable solutions. The company’s investment in multimodal detection, contextual threat evaluation, and dynamic response capabilities has enabled Deepfake Guard to perform at scale in demanding environments such as financial services, healthcare, and customer contact centers.

TC&C’s highly innovative approach enables it to deliver compelling and differentiated capabilities to customers. Deepfake Guard evaluates audiovisual, linguistic, and behavioral signals concurrently to identify threats as they emerge. The platform integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and TC&C’s own compliance stack while offering deployment flexibility across cloud, on-premises, and mobile infrastructures. “We are incredibly honored to receive Frost & Sullivan’s 2025 Global New Product Innovation Recognition for Deepfake Guard. Unlike traditional solutions that focus solely on identity verification, Deepfake Guard proactively neutralizes AI-driven impersonation in live interactions across audio, video, images, and text, by assessing the authenticity of the communication itself. We believe this unique, multi-layered approach provides unparalleled security for businesses in an increasingly vulnerable digital world, ensuring their operations and reputation remain safeguarded against evolving synthetic media threats, even before any damage is done.” said Csaba Juhasz, Chief Executive Officer at TC&C.

These initiatives ensure seamless implementation and sustained alignment with customer objectives. Clients benefit from continuous system optimization, proactive updates, and transparent auditability, which are crucial for regulated sectors that rely on forensic-grade documentation and evidence traceability.

Deepfake Guard’s ability to operate at high volume with low latency, combined with infrastructure-agnostic design and dynamic inference adaptation, delivers a compelling value proposition to enterprises seeking scalable, future-proof protection. From Indonesia to Malaysia: Elitery Accelerates Regional Expansion with Local Partnership in Malaysia

JAKARTA, Indonesia, July 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (Elitery), a leading provider of Managed IT Services in Indonesia, has officially announced its business expansion into Malaysia through the establishment of a new entity, Elitery Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. This expansion is part of Elitery’s global growth strategy to strengthen its competitive edge and business resilience amid a rapidly evolving technology landscape. As an initial step, Elitery Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. has entered into a strategic partnership with Iloken System Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysia-based technology company with a strong track record in digital solutions and systems integration.

“Our expansion into Malaysia through our subsidiary, Elitery Global Technology Sdn. Bhd., marks a strategic move to penetrate the regional market and accelerate global growth. Through the acquisition of Iloken System Sdn. Bhd., we have secured a local partner with highly competent talent, a proven business track record, and relevant experience in delivering critical digital infrastructure projects in Malaysia,” said Kresna Adiprawira, President Director of Elitery.

According to Kresna, Elitery’s decision to acquire rather than build from the ground up was driven by the strategic advantages Iloken System brings. Iloken System already has a solid operational foundation and significant potential for joint growth. The company has successfully developed emergency response systems (line one emergency system) and flood warning systems in Malaysia, along with a strong portfolio of recurring clients.

The decision to expand into Malaysia was based on strategic analysis of the country’s market potential and its digital ecosystem readiness. Malaysia is currently experiencing rapid growth in the fields of cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and cyber security. According to the report Gartner: Information Security, Worldwide Forecast, 1Q25 Update, Malaysia’s spending on information security is projected to increase by 84% between 2023 and 2029, driven by escalating digital threats and nationwide transformation initiatives. Meanwhile, the public cloud market is expected to reach USD 2.82 billion by 2025. In addition, Statista Market Insights: Generative AI – Malaysia (2024) projects that the generative AI market in Malaysia will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 36.98% from 2025 to 2031, starting at an estimated USD 333 million.

This momentum is no coincidence. Leading global technology companies such as Google, AWS, Oracle, and Microsoft have committed multi-billion-dollar investments in Malaysia, establishing data centers, public cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities. With progressive digital policies and attractive investment incentives from the government, Malaysia is rapidly positioning itself as a strategic hub for digital transformation in Southeast Asia.

At the same time, the growing demand for reliable technology partners has become increasingly crucial. Local institutions and industries in Malaysia are actively looking for digital transformation partners with strong expertise in cloud systems integration, IT automation, and data protection. Elitery sees this as a strategic opportunity to bring significant value, leveraging its proven track record in the Indonesian market.

“We believe this marks the beginning of a new chapter for Elitery, transitioning from a national leader into a regional enabler of digital change. With collaboration and innovation at our core, we are committed to supporting Southeast Asia’s digital transformation journey. ” Kresna concluded.

About Elitery:

Elitery (PT. Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk) is an IT managed services company specializing in information technology, particularly in cloud technology. With over 14 years of experience, we are committed to delivering excellent services to our clients. Backed by a solid reputation, Elitery is trusted by global cloud service providers such as Google Cloud as a go-to-market partner in Indonesia.

With our proven experience and capabilities, we are confident in our ability to serve as a reliable partner for your organization’s digital transformation journey.

In both 2023 and 2024, Elitery was honored with the prestigious Public Sector Partner of the Year – Asia Pacific award from Google Cloud for two consecutive years. In 2024, Elitery also officially joined the Google Cloud Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) initiative marking a strategic move to enhance our cybersecurity services.

Throughout 2024, Elitery achieved several other significant milestones, including receiving the Indonesia Best CX-EX Strategy Award 2024 from SWA, and being recognized as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) 2024, reflecting our commitment to strong governance and an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
