QUALIFICATION REQUIRES :
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A or financial analysis, preferably within the construction industry or auditing construction industry.
- Expertise in construction accounting, IFRS15.
- Fluency in Lao, Thai and English.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookup functions, charts, scenario analysis).
- Building financial models for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and profitability analysis.
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable operational strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management (from site teams to executives).
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Annual Budgeting & Monitoring:
- Lead and prepare the annual budget for the company, including revenue, costs, and CAPEX, OPEX.
- Collaborate with operations, estimating, and project teams to develop realistic budgets per project.
- Monitor and report monthly and quarterly budget vs. actual performance, highlighting key variances and profitability trends.
- Provide financial analysis to evaluate the company’s financial stability/performance, supporting strategic decisions.
Project P&L Management:
- Track and report project-level profitability, including revenue, direct costs, gross margins, and overhead allocations.
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work with project managers to investigate cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
Financial Reporting & Executive Insights:
- Deliver monthly/quarterly P&L reports per project to management / Deliver monthly/quarterly Cash flow Report.
- Present financial performance in executive meetings, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly P&L reports by project for management.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly cash flow reports.
- Participate in executive and project review meetings, presenting financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
