Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street Reopens, Reviving a Century-Old Charm

ZHONGSHAN, China, Oct. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — At the heart of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street in Zhongshan—a landmark that carries over a century of history—is making a dazzling return, showcasing the city’s unique cultural charm in a brand-new light. Built in the early 20th century, Sunwen West Road has long been a cradle of Xiangshan culture and a hub of commercial prosperity.

Its origins can be traced back to the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), and by the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) periods, the area had already become a bustling marketplace. In the 1930s, this 500-meter stretch was lined with more than a hundred shops, reflecting the city’s vibrant trading heritage as a hometown of overseas Chinese. In 1995, it was designated Guangdong’s first national-level historic and cultural block. However, over time, the old street faced declining foot traffic and outdated businesses amid rapid urban development.

To restore its vitality, Zhongshan has launched a comprehensive preservation and revitalization project since 2021. Guided by the principle of “restoring the old to its original appearance,” the project team meticulously refurbished every architectural detail of the iconic qilou (arcade-style) buildings—from terrazzo floors and gilded wooden beams to traditional shop signs and original timber structures. The renovation not only preserved the street’s historic charm but also introduced new cultural and creative spaces, heritage workshops, and specialty dining, breathing new life into the century-old street.

On September 28, 2025, Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street reopened to the public. To capture this historic moment, the film production team employed an innovative one-take drone shot, guiding viewers on a smooth aerial journey through arcade corridors, cultural and creative spaces, and traditional performance scenes—like traveling through time itself. In post-production, game-inspired interactive visual effects were creatively integrated into the live-action footage, allowing younger audiences to experience and appreciate traditional culture in a fresh, immersive way.

Natural Field Drives Breakthroughs in Co-loading Liposome Technology, Accelerating Upgrading of Raw Materials for Cardiovascular and Gut Health

XIAN, China, Oct. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Natural Field has achieved new continuous research breakthroughs in co-loading liposome technology, with remarkable progress particularly in the development of co-loading Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) liposome and co-loading curcumin liposome raw materials. This technology demonstrates strong potential in enhancing the bioavailability, stability, and synergistic effects of active ingredients, opening up new pathways for health support.

During this R&D process, Natural Field conducted in-depth exploration into the mechanisms of action and efficacy of co-loading CoQ10 liposomes and co-loading curcumin liposomes in areas such as cardiovascular function and gut health. Experimental data shows that the bioabsorption rate of these two co-loading liposomes is 2-10 times higher than that of traditional raw materials. These preliminary data indicate that NFLipo® has more competitive performance in cardiovascular protection, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and intestinal barrier regulation.

ISX Financial EU Plc granted T2 (RTGS) access via central banks

  • ISXX can manage own liquidity directly at its Eurosystem central banks

NICOSIA, Cyprus, Oct. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — ISX Financial EU Plc (ISXX), an EEA authorised Electronic Money Institution (EMI), is pleased to announce that is has been authorised by its home regulator, the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC), to access T2, the Eurosystem’s real-time gross settlement (RTGS) platform, in compliance with section 35A of the Provision and Use of Payment Services and Access to Payment Systems Laws of 2018 to 2025 (31(I)/2018.

 

This authorisation puts the Company at the forefront of non-bank participants and enables direct communication with the Eurosystem RTGS platform. It further allows for high-value, cross-border payment processing capabilities, independent of the requirement of a sponsor bank, as is typically required by electronic money and payment institutions. The above developments highlight ISXX’s payment system resilience and product depth.

T2 access allows ISXX to manage its own liquidity pool directly in its central bank accounts, and further enhances ISXX’s operations without relying on third-party sponsor banks to manage liquidity movements on its behalf.

T2 access also allows ISXX to control and manage its own SWIFT payments via its own cross-border operations infrastructure. ISXX will soon be able to send/receive Euro (€) payments to/from other directly and indirectly central bank connected financial institutions worldwide, without relying on a sponsor bank’s SWIFT/BIC infrastructure. In this way, the Company strengthens its participation in global correspondent networks, as well as having its cross-border capabilities.

Direct integration to T2 provides the Company with future access to TARGET Instant Payment Settlement (TIPS) cross currency exchange mechanism, allowing it in future to settle instant payments between Euro (€), Danish Crown (DKK), and Swedish Crown (SEK) directly through the respective central banks rather than via correspondent banks. TIPS will reduce costs, vastly improve settlement speed, and lower counterparty risk.

Meanwhile, the Company has already integrated to the (Central) Bank of Latvia and will go live imminently, and is finalising its connectivity with the (Central) Bank of Lithuania to allow for path diversity and systems redundancy. This will have a positive impact on revenue in the short-term.
