Banyan Group Residences Brings Latest Phuket Property Launches to Hong Kong

Three new Laguna Phuket developments – spanning lakeside living, golf-front design and Angsana-branded luxury – to be showcased at Park Lane Hong Kong on 16–17 MayCaption

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 8 May 2026 – Banyan Group Residences is bringing three of its most anticipated new residential launches to Hong Kong this month, with a two-day sales exhibition taking place at Park Lane Hong Kong (Canvas, 26F) on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May 2026, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The event offers Hong Kong buyers a rare opportunity to explore and invest in some of Phuket’s most compelling new addresses, with dedicated sales teams on hand for private consultations.

Angsana Golf Residences Topaz

The exhibitions follow a year of record residential sales for Banyan Group Residences, as growing numbers of global investors look to Phuket as a safe haven for capital – drawn by the island’s political stability, strong rental yields, year-round lifestyle appeal, and the relative value it continues to offer against comparable markets. Demand has been particularly robust from buyers across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, with Hong Kong remaining one of the Group’s most consistent source markets.

The three projects on show represent some of the most exciting new additions to Laguna Phuket – Asia’s premier integrated resort destination – and span a range of living concepts, price points, and design inspirations, united by the hallmark quality and hospitality expertise of Banyan Group Residences, Asia’s leading branded residential developer by volume.

“Hong Kong has consistently been one of our strongest buyer markets, and we look forward to welcoming buyers in person to discover what we believe is an exceptional line-up of new homes,” said Stuart Reading, Managing Director of Banyan Group Residences. “Whether you’re looking for a holiday retreat, a permanent base in a world-class resort community, or a smart long-term investment, this exhibition offers something genuinely compelling. High-quality property in a prime location at Laguna Phuket still represents outstanding value compared to equivalent homes in Hong Kong or other major cities.”

Bellaguna Lake Residences

Brand new blocks of Bellaguna Lake Residences will be revealed for the first time at the exhibition. Set beside a shimmering lake within Laguna Phuket – steps from Bang Tao Beach – the development takes its design cues from the sleek lines of a contemporary luxury yacht. Five elegantly elongated buildings feature dark wave-like façades and warm, light-filled interiors, with generous private terraces overlooking the lagoon. Residences include one- to three-bedroom condominiums and two- to three-bedroom penthouses with private rooftop pools, as well as a brand new category of two-bedroom residences with private pool.

Bellaguna is Banyan Group Residences’ newest residential brand, conceived specifically for premium year-round living outside of hotel inventory – yet fully supported by the Group’s renowned hospitality management standards.

Bellaguna Golf Residences

Set on land that once formed part of Phuket’s historic tin-mining landscape, Bellaguna Golf Residences draws its design identity from that heritage – soft horizontal lines and sculpted contours reinterpreted through a contemporary tropical lens. Low-rise buildings unfold amid lush gardens and a signature free-form pool, overlooking the fairways of the championship Laguna Golf Phuket course. A brand new block has also just been released for this project, which features a compact one-bedroom configuration, alongside one- to three-bedroom condominiums and two- to three-bedroom penthouses with private pools and sunset golf views.

Angsana Golf Residences Topaz

Inspired by the clarity and elegance of the topaz gemstone, Angsana Golf Residences Topaz comprises three gracefully curved low-rise buildings set within Laguna Phuket, with Sino-Portuguese design accents that subtly reference Phuket’s cultural heritage. The development offers two- and three-bedroom residences and exclusive penthouses with private rooftop pools, all enjoying panoramic views of the golf course, mountains, and the Andaman Sea. A signature rooftop ring-shaped pool completes the picture.

All three projects now have show units available to view at Laguna Property Sales Gallery

Banyan Living

Banyan Group has recently launched Banyan Living, a residential rental and marketing platform created to support owners of branded residences across the Group’s portfolio, while offering guests a professionally managed alternative to traditional home‑sharing platforms.

Developed as a structured, hospitality-led rental ecosystem, Banyan Living enables private owners to generate income from their residences, while providing guests who rent the properties assurance of the design integrity and professional service standards associated with Banyan Group.

Why Phuket, Why Now

Phuket continues to attract growing international interest as both a lifestyle destination and an investment market. Within Laguna Phuket, nationals of some 70 countries have chosen to make the resort community their home, drawn by year-round tropical living, world-class amenities, international schools, medical facilities, and a level of quality and security that is difficult to match elsewhere in the region.

Banyan Group Residences anticipates launching up to USD 1 billion in new luxury residential projects in Phuket over the next two to three years, reflecting the Group’s confidence in the market and the enduring strength of demand from international buyers.

Prospective buyers are welcome to visit the exhibition at Park Lane Hong Kong, Canvas (26F), on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May 2026, between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. Private appointments can be arranged in advance by contacting the team directly.

Amadeus delivers solid Q1 2026 growth, and maintains commercial momentum

Highlights for the first quarter of 2026[1] (relative to prior year):

  • Group revenue increased 3.1%, to €1,682.6 million, up 7.9%[2] at constant currency.
  • Operating income grew 2.8%, to €474.9 million.
  • Adjusted EBIT[1] amounted to €500.0 million, increasing 6.6%[2] at constant currency.
  • Diluted EPS increased 4.9%. Adjusted diluted EPS[1] grew 8.8%[2] at constant currency.
  • Free cash flow[1] amounted to €273.6 million, increasing 4.5%.
  • Net financial debt[1] was €2,586.0 million on March 31, 2026.

MADRID and SINGAPORE, May 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Amadeus opened 2026 with solid growth and profitability, following the strong momentum we saw in Q4 2025. In March, the situation in the Middle East moderated our growth, slowing our performance in the quarter. In Q1 2026, Group revenue grew by 3.1%, or 7.9% at constant currency, and adjusted EBIT[1] increased by 6.6% at constant currency. Additionally, adjusted diluted EPS[1] expanded by 8.8% at constant currency. In Q1 2026 we generated free cash flow[1] of €273.6 million, growing 4.5% relative to Q1 2025. Our free cash flow generation resulted in net financial debt of €2,586.0 million at March 31, 2026 (equal to 1.0 times last-twelve-month EBITDA) and we continue to execute on our €500 million share repurchase program announced late February 2026.

Luis Maroto, President & CEO of Amadeus, commented:

“Amadeus reported solid revenue and profit growth in the first quarter. While volumes moderated in March, following the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, we continue to demonstrate strong commercial momentum. We are closely monitoring the uncertain macro context, with the range of impacts making it difficult to predict in the short-term. We are currently expecting to deliver within our guided expectations for 2026, and we will update the market if this changes.

We are positive about the future and firmly focused on long‑term growth. We continue to expand our reach across the travel ecosystem, increase the number of customers adopting our solutions, broaden the range of solutions used by our customers, expand our AI capabilities, and demonstrate the transversal strength of our portfolio.

At the same time, we continue to invest in the future through our planned acquisition of leading biometrics and identity services provider IDEMIA Public Security (IPS). This deal fits naturally into Amadeus’ strategy and will improve the traveler experience by reducing friction and enabling more integrated travel journeys. It will also reinforce our commitment to investing in transformative technology such as biometrics as part of our platform strategy, supporting our broader ambition to become an orchestrator of an AI-enabled travel ecosystem.”

Business evolution

Our Air IT Solutions segment delivered 7.5% revenue growth in Q1 2026, or 12.0% at constant currency. Air IT Solutions revenue growth in the first quarter resulted from passengers boarded growth of 3.1%, and 8.6% revenue per passenger boarded expansion (at constant currency). Our revenue per passenger boarded growth accelerated from Q4 2025, and was supported by positive pricing and revenue dynamics, primarily from our customers buying more solutions from us and due to incremental revenues from our Amadeus Nevio offering. We continued to see fast-growing Airline Professional Services and we had revenue growth linked to rebooking activity produced by the Middle East geopolitical situation, demonstrating the resilience of our business.

In Q1 2026, Hospitality and Other Solutions revenue increased by 3.2%, or 9.8% at constant currency. This revenue growth in the quarter was driven by new customer implementations and higher transactions across our Hospitality and Payments businesses, relative to prior year.

In Air Distribution, revenue grew 0.1% in Q1 2026, or by 4.6% at constant currency. Our growth in Air Distribution was driven by a very strong start to the year, both in volumes and average revenue per booking. However, booking growth was impacted by the geopolitical situation in the Middle East in March, which caused a spike in booking cancellations. This effect on volumes muted our commercial success across regions, which remained strong throughout the quarter. Revenue per booking continued to grow healthily, expanding 4.8% at constant currency, in line with both prior quarter and FY 2025, resulting from continued positive pricing dynamics.

TOOTOO Self-Develops Ultra-Olaflur, Achieving a New Breakthrough in Super Cavity Protection for Children’s Toothpaste

  • Acid erosion resistance increased by 5 times, remineralization effect 1.7 times higher than previous generation Olaflur

HANGZHOU, China, May 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Recently, Chinese children’s age-specific wash and care brand TOOTOO (a brand under Hangzhou Daoyu Xingqing Biotechnology Co., Ltd.) has achieved a major scientific research breakthrough in the field of children’s oral care. The company’s three-year self-developed Ultra-Olaflur has reached a purity of over 98%, achieving a comprehensive upgrade in anti-cavity performance. This achievement marks a key technological breakthrough for Chinese enterprises in the core raw material field of children’s cavity prevention.

Dental caries remains one of the most common chronic childhood diseases globally. The World Health Organization’s “Global Oral Health Status Report” released in 2022 shows that approximately 514 million children worldwide suffer from primary tooth caries, with a prevalence rate of about 48% among preschool children, affecting nearly half of all children. The harm of dental caries is not limited to tooth pain; it can also lead to eating difficulties, speech disorders, sleep disruption, and even malnutrition and developmental delays.

Against this background, fluoride toothpaste is widely recognized by international authoritative bodies. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Dental Federation (FDI) affirm the effectiveness and safety of fluoride toothpaste in preventing dental caries. Fluorides commonly used in the industry can be divided into two categories: one is inorganic fluorides, and the other is organic fluorides – Olaflur.

Olaflur has a special molecular structure: an amine fluoride salt formed by a long-chain alkylamine cation binding two fluoride ions. This unique “amphiphilic” molecular structure endows Olaflur with multiple advantages in protecting oral hard tissues: it can modify the surface properties of hard tissues, improve fluoride uptake efficiency, enhance acid erosion resistance, promote remineralization, and inhibit dental plaque, thereby comprehensively improving tooth health.

Olaflur has attracted significant attention since its introduction in the 1960s. In 1962, the Swiss company GABA first synthesized Olaflur, and subsequently, ETH Zurich confirmed its unique physicochemical properties and anti-caries efficacy. By the 1980s, several research teams had successively confirmed Olaflur’s multiple effects, including inhibiting dental plaque, protecting tooth enamel, as well as antibacterial and anti-sensitivity properties.

Today, Olaflur’s anti-cavity technology has achieved a major breakthrough, with its performance undergoing a new upgrade. While building upon existing Olaflur applications, TOOTOO also initiated a new, independent research and development effort. Over three years, it successfully and independently produced Ultra-Olaflur with significantly improved purity (≥98%). Comparisons show that compared to previous European Olaflur, the domestically (Chinese) produced Ultra-Olaflur shows significant optimization across multiple key performance indicators.

Ultra-Olaflur with purity ≥98%
Ultra-Olaflur with purity ≥98%

In terms of key anti-cavity performance, Ultra-Olaflur demonstrates significant advantages, specifically:

  • Its acid erosion resistance is increased by approximately 5 times, minimizing the decrease in enamel hardness after acid erosion (According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report,” Report No.: A2250835016101004CR1, p. 3);
  • Its remineralization effect is excellent, with a hardness recovery rate increase of 104%, and the formed mineralized layer is smoother and denser (According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report,” Report No.: A2250835016101002C, p. 3);
  • The depth of demineralization is reduced by more than 50% compared to the control group (According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report,” Report No.: A2250835016101001C, p. 3);
  • Fluoridation depth reaches 1.7 times that of the previous generation Olaflur and 4.5 times that of sodium fluoride (According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report,” Report No.: A2250835016101001C, p. 3);
  • The inhibitory effect on cariogenic bacteria and the ability to form anti-biofilm have also been significantly enhanced (According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report,” Report No.: A2250835016101003C, p. 2).

Ultra-Olaflur, applied in children’s toothpaste, leverages its three major characteristics of super spreadability, super adsorption, and super antibacterial properties to truly achieve a “super anti-cavity” effect.

Currently, the TOOTOO children’s toothpaste utilizing this technology has been launched on the market and has received positive feedback. According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report” (Report No.: A2250835016101003C, p. 2), the product’s inhibition rate against cariogenic sources is as high as 94%. According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report” (Report No.: A2250835016101004CR1, p. 3), its acid erosion resistance is increased by 50.66%. According to Shanghai Huace Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report” (Report No.: A2250835016101002C, p. 3), after children use this product for 28 days, enamel hardness can increase by 41%. According to China NOA Testing Institution’s “TOOTOO Ultra-Olaflur Children’s Anti-Cavity Toothpaste Test Report” (Report No.: NMD2510-0108-01, p. 5), the product provides 24-hour long-lasting cavity protection. Furthermore, this product has passed 400 safety tests (issued by SGS, Huace Testing, PONY, Ningbo Customs Technology Center, including 255 high-risk substance screenings, 63 sex hormones, 36 antibiotics, 26 allergens, 13 type tests, 5 preservative tests, passed oral non-toxicity test, and no oral irritation test), providing a solid safety endorsement for its excellent efficacy.

The emergence of Ultra-Olaflur provides a new technological pathway for improving the performance of global children’s anti-cavity products. It is worth mentioning that this technology is equally effective for adult oral protection.

The case of China-originated Ultra-Olaflur demonstrates that technological innovation in the global oral care industry is taking on a more collaborative and open posture. This not only brings inspiration and opportunities to the European oral care industry but may also generate more cross-border collaborations, thereby promoting more efficient and accessible anti-cavity solutions to benefit consumers worldwide.

About TOOTOO

TOOTOO is a leading Chinese brand for children’s age-specific wash and care products. The brand adheres to the philosophy of “Love and Science,” with the mission of “Guardian of Children’s Health.” In 2024, the company independently developed Ultra-Olaflur with purity ≥98%, becoming one of the few enterprises globally to master the core preparation technology for Ultra-Olaflur.

Thailand, Cambodia Resume Direct Talks as ASEAN Pushes for De-escalation

Thailand and Cambodia agreed to continue direct negotiations and restore bilateral mechanisms during talks held on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit in Cebu on 7 May, marking the first major diplomatic engagement between the two countries in months.

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet met with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who facilitated the discussions in his role as ASEAN chair.

The talks followed months of border tensions and military clashes along the disputed Thailand-Cambodia border.

During a joint press conference after the meeting, Marcos said both sides agreed to maintain open communication, avoid actions that could escalate tensions, and continue pursuing peaceful dialogue.

Both countries also agreed to assign their foreign ministers to work on confidence-building measures and maintain direct dialogue to reduce misunderstandings and prevent further violence.

The leaders also agreed to resume bilateral mechanisms, including the Joint Border Commission, General Border Committee, and Regional Border Committee.

The talks also addressed overlapping maritime claims between Thailand and Cambodia, another long-running source of tension between the neighboring countries.

Maritime Disputes

Cambodia reaffirmed its support for resolving maritime disputes through mechanisms under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) after Thailand decided earlier this week to revoke the 2001 memorandum governing overlapping continental shelf claims.

Earlier on 5 May, Thailand’s cabinet approved the termination of the agreement, saying the memorandum had remained in place for 25 years without significant progress.

Anutin later told Thai media that he personally informed Hun Manet of Thailand’s decision and said both countries would continue discussions under UNCLOS principles.

Thai officials stressed that ending the memorandum does not mean cutting ties with Cambodia, adding that both sides would continue negotiations through diplomatic and legal channels.

Marcos described the discussions as constructive and said both leaders showed strong commitment to pursuing peace instead of further conflict.

The Philippines also confirmed a three-month extension of the ASEAN Observer Team mandate to help monitor agreements and support stability along the border.

The meeting signaled renewed regional efforts to prevent further escalation between the two ASEAN member states.
