Let Her Create: How VEVOR Empowers Women to Redefine the Spaces of Home

HOUSTON, March 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In many people’s imagination, the roar of a power drill and the sparks of a welding torch are often associated with something rugged—and something male.

VEVOR Push Lawn Sweeper
VEVOR Push Lawn Sweeper

But the reality inside American homes tells a different story. According to the 2024 results of the American Time Use Survey by the U.S. Department of Labor, 87% of women spend time on household activities on an average day, including housework, lawn and garden care, vehicle maintenance and repair, and home maintenance, decoration, and renovation.

VEVOR has been collecting user stories and witnessing how its female users are empowered to do so. Step into VEVOR’s user community across the United States, and you’ll see that reality in action.

In Texas, a woman pressure-washes her patio with a gas-powered cold-water pressure washer. Wherever the stream passes, the brick and stone reveal their original clean texture. In a studio in Philadelphia, an airless paint sprayer gives a wall an entirely new color. In a garage in Seattle, a mechanical tool set has just helped her tighten and reinforce her child’s swing set.

From home renovation to car maintenance, from yard care to creative DIY projects—everywhere something needs to be built, repaired, or improved, you’ll find women working with focus, confidence and VEVOR solutions.

1. Giving Time Back to Life

During product development, VEVOR noticed an interesting pattern: many women give up on a project not because the work itself is difficult, but because the preparation and cleanup take too much time.

One user from Texas shared her story. She loves caring for her yard, but the most frustrating part of her routine was dealing with a hose that stretched dozens of feet across the garden. After watering the plants, she would spend nearly half an hour coiling it up, loop by loop, and dragging it back to the tool shed. In the heat of summer or the chill of winter, a weekend afternoon could easily slip away like that.

Later, she switched to a VEVOR retractable hose reel. With a gentle pull, the hose automatically retracts—finished in just a few seconds.

She said that afternoon she stood in the yard for quite a while, unsure what to do next. “I suddenly had an extra half hour,” she said. “I didn’t know what to do with it. So I just sat there and had a cup of coffee.”

From that day on, she began seeing her yard differently. She used a VEVOR pressure washer to clean the patio, trimmed dead branches with a gas-powered hedge trimmer, and cleared out a small corner of the yard to grow herbs. What once felt like routine maintenance slowly turned into something closer to creation.

This is the philosophy behind VEVOR’s design: giving back, piece by piece, the time that everyday tasks quietly take away.

2 Turning “I Can” Into an Everyday Reality

Another user lives in Philadelphia.

She enjoys browsing home design inspiration but had never actually renovated anything herself. Home improvement always felt like a “big project”—something that required a full weekend, perfect conditions, and careful preparation.

Until the day she used a VEVOR airless paint sprayer to paint her first wall.

At first, it was simply curiosity. She wanted to see how well the machine worked. She repainted one wall in her living room, and the entire process took less than two hours.

VEVOR airless paint sprayer
VEVOR airless paint sprayer

When it was finished, she stood there looking at the wall for a long time.

Not because it was perfect. But because an idea she had been putting off for two years had suddenly become real.

After that, things began to fall into place like dominoes. Every weekend she made a little more progress, and each small change sparked another idea.

Later, she shared a reflection in the community that resonated with many others:

“I used to wait for the perfect moment. Now I realize the perfect moment doesn’t arrive on its own—you create it with the right tools.”

Helping ideas come to life faster—that’s exactly what VEVOR hopes to make possible.

3. Powerful Tools, Made to Be Approachable

These two stories point to the same truth: When women pick up tools, what they need most isn’t courage—it’s tools that truly understand them. That’s exactly what VEVOR has been working toward over the past few years.

From backyards in Texas to garages in Seattle, the product team has followed hundreds of real user scenarios, documenting the moments when people hesitate while using tools:

Why can’t hose reels retract automatically?

Why can’t tool handles fit more naturally in smaller hands?

Why can’t equipment be lighter, so moving it around isn’t a barrier?

These observations are gradually being transformed into real design improvements. Each change points toward the same goal: making professional tools accessible to everyone.

Today, VEVOR’s product line covers more than 15,000 categories—from yard care to automotive repair, from home renovation to creative DIY. All of these tools serve the same purpose: to put the power of creation back into the hands of anyone who wants to build something of their own. This isn’t simply an extension of strength. It’s an expansion of choice.

VEVOR believes the power to create shouldn’t be limited by strength, space, or experience. It should belong to anyone with a vision for their home. To bring that belief to life, we’re opening our doors—literally. On March 9, join us at our first-ever global flagship store in Houston (10951 Farm to Market 1960 Road W). See, touch, and test the tools helping women across America redefine what’s possible in their own spaces. Discover pro-level performance without the pro-level price—and start creating the home you’ve always imagined. Your next project starts here.

Leads Biolabs’ Opamtistomig (LBL-024) Enrolls First ESCC Patient, Exploring Dual PD-L1/4-1BB Mechanism for Superior Survival Benefits in China’s High-Incidence Cancer

NANJING, China, March 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Nanjing Leads Biolabs Co., Ltd. (“Leads Biolabs” or the “Company,” Stock Code: 9887.HK) announced on March 6, 2026 that the first patient has been successfully dosed in a Phase Ⅱ clinical study evaluating Opamtistomig (LBL-024), the company’s core investigational PD-L1/4-1BB bispecific antibody, for the first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).

ESCC ranks as the seventh most common cancer in China, characterized by insidious onset and poor prognosis. Although immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with chemotherapy have improved objective response rate (ORR), progression-free survival (PFS), and overall survival (OS) compared to chemotherapy alone, median OS remains only 12-17 months. This underscores the limitations of current treatment approaches and the urgent need for improved outcomes, highlighting the necessity to explore more effective innovative strategies to address this significant clinical challenge.

Opamtistomig is a uniquely engineered bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously block PD-1/L1-mediated immune suppression and selectively activate the 4-1BB co-stimulatory pathway. By restoring T-cell functionality and expanding effector T-cell populations within the tumor microenvironment, Opamtistomig has the potential to deliver more potent and durable anti-tumor activity than PD-1/PD-L1 blockade alone, particularly in difficult-to-treat and immunotherapy-resistant tumors. To date, Opamtistomig has demonstrated first- or best-in-class potential in Phase II or registrational clinical trials across three indications: non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), small cell lung cancer (SCLC), and extrapulmonary neuroendocrine carcinoma (EP-NEC).

The open-label, multi-center Phase Ⅱ clinical study is led by Professor Shen Lin of Beijing Cancer Hospital and is being conducted across multiple hospitals in China. The trial aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Opamtistomig administered in patients with ESCC.

Executive Commentary
Dr. Charles Cai, Chief Medical Officer of Leads Biolabs, stated: “ESCC is highly prevalent with poor prognosis in China. While immune-chemotherapy combinations have shown progress, the overall survival benefit remains very limited, necessitating breakthrough solutions. The dosing of the first ESCC patient with Opamtistomig marks a critical milestone in our clinical strategy for this core pipeline asset. We anticipate it will overcome current immunotherapy limitations, delivering both higher response rates and prolonged survival benefits for patients.”

About ESCC
China is a region with a high incidence of esophageal cancer, accounting for approximately 50% of the newly diagnosed and fatal cases of esophageal cancer worldwide. Esophageal cancer is broadly classified into ESCC and esophageal adenocarcinoma, of which squamous cell carcinoma represents the predominant subtype in China. According to 2022 data published by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization, ESCC ranked seventh among all cancers in China in terms of incidence, with an estimated 224,000 new cases and approximately 187,000 deaths recorded annually. Early-stage esophageal cancer typically presents with no obvious clinical symptoms, and the majority of patients are diagnosed at a locally advanced stage or with distant metastases. As a result, prognosis remains poor, with a five-year survival rate of only 10.0% to 30.0%.

About Opamtistomig (LBL-024)
Opamtistomig (LBL-024) is a potential first-in-class bispecific antibody that simultaneously targets PD-L1 and the co-stimulatory receptor 4-1BB. It is the first 4-1BB–targeting bispecific antibody globally to advance to a single-arm pivotal trial as monotherapy, and it holds promise to become the first approved therapy specifically for extrapulmonary neuroendocrine carcinoma (EP-NEC)—a rare malignancy with substantial unmet clinical need.

Developed using Leads Biolabs’ proprietary X-Body bispecific platform, Opamtistomig features a 2:2 molecular format, incorporating two binding domains each for PD-L1 and 4-1BB with an optimized affinity ratio. This unique design enables dual functionality: reversing PD-L1–mediated immune suppression while selectively enhancing T-cell activation, resulting in a potent and synergistic anti-tumor immune response.

In two ongoing clinical studies in China, Opamtistomig has demonstrated promising efficacy and a favorable safety profile in patients with advanced EP-NEC, both as monotherapy and in combination with chemotherapy. Given the absence of a globally accepted standard of care for EP-NEC, these results support the advancement of a single-arm pivotal study toward potential accelerated approval.

Recognizing its clinical potential, Opamtistomig received Breakthrough Therapy Designation (BTD) from China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in October 2024, and Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of neuroendocrine carcinoma in November 2024. Additionally, in January 2026, Opamtistomig was granted Fast Track Designation (FTD) by the FDA and ODD by the European Commission for the treatment of EP-NEC, further underscoring its potential to address unmet medical needs in this patient population.

Mechanistically, 4-1BB agonism can reactivate exhausted T cells and promote robust T-cell proliferation, offering significant promise for PD-1/PD-L1–resistant or immunologically “cold” tumors. Beyond EP-NEC, Opamtistomig has received clinical trial approvals across multiple tumor types with high unmet medical needs, including small cell lung cancer (SCLC), biliary tract cancer (BTC), ovarian cancer (OC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), gastric cancer (GC), triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), and malignant melanoma. Encouraging clinical activity has already been observed in NSCLC, SCLC, BTC, OC, and other indications, underscoring Opamtistomig’s potential as a broad-spectrum immuno-oncology therapy.

Coremail Shares Insights on Strengthening Enterprise Email Security Amid Evolving Threats

HONG KONG, March 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In recent years, social engineering attacks have grown increasingly sophisticated. By posing as colleagues or trusted business partners, attackers lure employees into clicking malicious links or disclosing login credentials, often leading to system abuse and sensitive data leaks. At the same time, internal operational errors combined with external attack vectors have placed corporate security frameworks under mounting pressure.

Email, as the backbone of business communication and information exchange, has consequently become a prime entry point for such attacks. A single misjudgment in an email interaction can set off a chain reaction of risks, ranging from data breaches to costly business fraud.

Against this backdrop, companies need to adopt a more systematic approach to email security and protection to mitigate the combined risks of account abuse and phishing attacks. Coremail, a company with over 27 years of experience in email security, recently shared its insights on emerging trends in enterprise email security, noting that as cyberattack techniques continue to evolve, enterprise email protection is gradually moving away from traditional reactive defenses toward a more intelligent and structured security defense architecture.

Tim Lin, CTO of Coremail, said that the continued advancement of generative AI and social engineering tactics is reshaping the risk landscape for enterprise email security. “To strengthen overall cyber resilience, organizations need a multi-layered defense framework that integrates AI-driven analysis with robust governance and management practices.”

Establishing the First Line of Defense with an LLM-Powered Email Security Gateway

Conventional email security systems that largely rely on rules and signature databases often struggle to keep pace with attacks involving semantic deception, identity spoofing and constantly evolving variants. As phishing campaigns and increasingly sophisticated Business Email Compromise (BEC) scams continue to evolve, companies need more proactive and forward-looking protection capabilities.

Coremail’s CACTER Secure Email Gateway enhances traditional machine learning frameworks by incorporating large language models (LLMs) and multimodal analysis technologies, forming a proactive “AI versus AI” defense architecture.

Coremail CACTER Secure Email Gateway
Coremail CACTER Secure Email Gateway

Leveraging four key AI capabilities including deep semantic understanding, multimodal correlation analysis, zero-shot threat detection and attacker profiling, the CACTER Secure Email Gateway can:

  • Accurately detect and block phishing emails, spam, malware and covert BEC attacks to strengthen overall email protection
  • Perform dynamic URL inspection to prevent newly emerging malicious link attacks
  • Improve detection of unknown and variant threats
  • Provide administrators with clear threat visibility and intelligent policy recommendations

By adopting a full lifecycle email security and email data protection framework covering prevention, detection and response, the gateway creates a closed-loop process for email filtering and threat monitoring. Test results show that it can block up to 99.8% of spam emails, while keeping the false positive rate below 0.02%. This allows organizations to strengthen email security without disrupting normal business operations.

Lowering Human Risk Through Regular Anti-Phishing Drills

In many company email security incidents, human error remains the key trigger. Attackers frequently exploit trust relationships by posing as senior executives or business partners to mislead employees. For this reason, organizations should adopt continuous, scenario-based anti-phishing drills that help employees recognise suspicious requests and malicious links, rather than relying solely on one-off training sessions.

CACTER’s anti-phishing simulation service offers a range of customizable scenarios that replicate real-world attack situations, enabling companies to strengthen their risk awareness through practical exercises. Experience shows that regular simulations can significantly reduce the likelihood of employee mistakes and help prevent security incidents at their source.

Strengthening Governance and Security Awareness

Beyond technical safeguards, strong organizational governance is equally important. Companies should strengthen permission management and access control, enforce the principle of least privilege and adopt multi-factor authentication (MFA) to reduce the risk of account misuse.

At the same time, practical security training and clearly defined compliance responsibilities can help embed security awareness into everyday operations, enabling organizations to shift from a reactive approach to risk management toward a more proactive model of prevention.

As internal risks and external cyber threats increasingly converge, enterprise email systems have become a critical point in the security landscape. Relying on a single layer of protection is no longer sufficient to address increasingly complex threats. Organizations need a multi-layered, intelligent and continuously evolving security framework to effectively mitigate compounded risks.

By integrating AI-driven email security gateways, strengthening employee preparedness, and reinforcing governance frameworks, enterprises can enhance overall security resilience and safeguard business stability in an increasingly complex digital environment.

Beadwork Born in Laos’ Most Dangerous Fields, By the Women Who Clear Them

Photo supplied by Mines Advisory Group Laos

A jewelry collection made with women who clear bombs for a living is putting Laos’ unexploded ordnance crisis back in the conversation.

Beneath the soil of northern and central Laos, more than 80 million unexploded cluster munitions lie buried in the fields.

They are what remains of the Secret War, the covert American bombing campaign that made Laos the most heavily bombed country per capita in history.

Between 1964 and 1973, the United States dropped more than two million tonnes of ordnance on Laos, much of it cluster bombs designed to scatter and, in vast numbers, fail to detonate.

Fifty years on, communities in provinces like Xieng Khouang and Khammouane still cannot safely farm their land, build homes, or let children roam freely. Accidents still happen daily.

The Mines Advisory Group (MAG) has been working to clear that legacy since 1994, training and deploying demining teams across the country’s most contaminated ground. A significant part of that workforce is women.

A new jewelry collection is trying to change that.

Photo supplied by Mines Advisory Group Laos

When Deminers and Artisans Sit Together

Eight female deminers from MAG sat down with the team at Interwoven, a Vientiane-based store known for contemporary and community-rooted design, to figure out how to turn their working lives into something people could wear. What came out of those sessions was seven pieces tracing the demining process from the first survey of a field to the moment cleared land is handed back to a community.

“At Interwoven, our work usually focuses on contemporary and local community art, so merging our style with the technical world of MAG was an exciting but deep challenge,” said Dianna Youtmanelin, Store Manager at Interwoven. “We wanted to make art that told stories of survival and safety, not just beauty.”

Mines Advisory Group, Interwoven

The collection also pushes back against one of the more persistent assumptions around UXO awareness products in Laos, that they should be made from melted bomb scraps.

It is a well-intentioned idea that MAG says misses the point.

What’s the Point?

“We want to reduce the demand for real bomb materials,” said Dala Soutthichak, MAG’s Communication Coordinator. “These pieces of metal have been in the ground for over 50 years. They are contaminated with chemicals and carry a history of tragedy.”

Instead, the pieces use mixed-colour beads to map the clearance journey, shifting attention from the weapons to the people removing them.

“This collection represents our journey of UXO clearance, especially the strength of our medics team and communities who are very brave to work in the field,” said Khamlar Sibounheuang, MAG Team Leader from Khammouane.

The project works with local artisans and vulnerable communities creates employment for young women who might otherwise face pressure to seek work abroad, in conditions that can expose them to trafficking.

For the deminers involved, the collection is just another record of what they do every day, in fields that most people will never see, clearing ground that families have been waiting decades to get back.

An Artful Evolution: Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan Unveils Sustainability-led Refresh

BALI, INDONESIA – Media OutReach Newswire – 9 March 2026 – The multi-award-winning architecture of Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan – an awe-inspiring, suspended rice bowl structure – remains as pioneering today as when it was unveiled 28 years ago. Now, the Forbes Five-Star resort draws on those cutting-edge foundations to reveal a thoughtful reimagining of its luxury riverside suite accommodations and jungle-view dining spaces.

Through the redesign, HBA pay homage to the resort’s original architectural concept while offering a renewed aesthetic and meeting contemporary demands. Integrated smart home elements like LUTRON lighting offer seamless control over the suite environment.

The Following Reimagined Suites Will be Open to Guests from July 2026:

  • Premier Duplex Suite – The ultimate retreat for couples who appreciate extra space, this two-level one-bedroom suite includes a dining area with floor-to-ceiling river-view windows, and a sun terrace. Rich teak wood and hand-loomed fabrics create a warm, welcoming ambience.
  • Family Premier Suite – Ideally located in the resort’s main building near the restaurants and spa, this luxury one-bedroom suite features a beautifully designed kids’ room. A large living space and views over the river valley provide a soothing retreat for the entire family.

Driven by Sustainability

From reused materials to energy-saving fixtures, the redesign is deeply grounded in sustainability principles. All new guest rooms have energy-efficient LED lighting alongside new air conditioning units that use environmentally friendly energy-saving refrigerants.

Optimising the existing framework and reusing and refurbishing through careful craftmanship has reduced the need for new building materials. Any new materials used have been carefully chosen for longevity and locally sourced where possible.

Soaring over the lush jungle river valley, Ayung Terrace restaurant has long immersed diners in a sense of wonderment and natural beauty. Now, new elements such as plush grey river-view sofas, elegant wooden chairs and marbled-topped tables infuse a vibrant burst of energy. At Jati Bar, welcoming sofas and chairs in natural green and grey tones offer an elevated setting in which to enjoy creative cocktails, light bites and river vistas.

“Four Seasons Sayan is known for its cutting-edge design and architecture,” comments Tim Churchmack, Resort Manager, Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan. “This new design honours that heritage and pays further homage to our incredible natural home.
