More than 15,000 students have registered for entrance exams at the National University of Laos, but the university has said that only 5,335 students will be granted entry into the university system.
The annual entrance exam of the national university has been scheduled for Aug 11th, according to the Head of the Cabinet Office of the National University of Laos Khamphong Nammavongmixay.
The exam will be conducted at several venues including at the Dongdok campus, Vientiane Secondary School, Vientiane-Ho-Chi Minh Secondary School, Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship Secondary School, Tanmixay Secondary School, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Politics and Public Administration and at Pakpasak Technical College.
The entrance exam application form has been available for 35,000 kip at the National University of Laos’ Dongdok Campus since June. The application fee is 22,000 kip.
The results of the examinations will be announced on Sep 15 at the Dongdok Campus, at the Vientiane Capital Department of Education and Sports and at the Provincial Departments of Education and Sports or at www.nul.edu.la.
