The central provinces, including Vientiane Capital, will experience warmer temperatures but will see rain from Wednesday, with average temperatures of 25 to 35 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the southern provinces will get thunderstorms and heavier rain into the weekend.
According to the bureau’s report, two minor earthquakes occurred on Friday last week in Yot Ou District, Phongsaly Province, and in Saysathan District, Xayaboury Province with no damage to property or injuries reported.
Authorities have warned people across the country to be cautious of extreme rains in some areas, including thunderstorms and hail.
