Registrations have opened for the Francophonie Economic Mission to be held from 6 to 8 October in Djibouti, as the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) continues efforts to strengthen economic cooperation among its member states.
Organized in collaboration with the Government of Djibouti, the mission builds on six previous editions held across Francophone regions. It aims to promote trade between OIF’s member states and governments, support joint projects, and encourage sustainable partnerships among businesses operating within the Francophonie.
The initiative targets prioritized sectors in Djibouti’s national development strategy, including transport and logistics linked to free zones, digital services, renewable energy, healthcare, and sustainable tourism.
The OIF is inviting companies seeking international expansion to participate in the mission, which will provide opportunities to explore partnerships in Djibouti, a strategic hub connecting Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, and serving as a gateway to East Africa’s regional market.
Participants will have access to a tailored program that includes meetings with public and private sector representatives, business-to-business sessions, and visits to key economic sites.
Eligible applicants include companies from OIF member states, associate members, and observer countries with international experience in one or more of the targeted sectors. Applications are open until 17 April through the official mission website:
