AP Memory Broadens S-SiCap™ Technology Deployment to Support Evolving AI and HPC Needs

HSINCHU, Dec. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — AP Memory, a leading global design company providing customized memory solutions, today announced further advancements in its S-SiCapTM (Stack Silicon Capacitor) product line to address the increasing integration demands of AI servers and high-performance computing (HPC) systems. The S-SiCapTM portfolio includes two product categories —discrete silicon capacitors and interposers with silicon capacitors — designed to support different system architectures and diverse application requirements.

The discrete silicon capacitors, S-SiCapTM Gen4, achieves a capacitance density of 3.8 μF/mm², an increase of more than 50% over the previous generation. To meet the growing demand for higher performance and power efficiency in AI servers and HPC systems, S-SiCapTM Gen4 is the first to adopt embedded substrate packaging and is currently in the sampling and process validation stage. Mass production will be introduced progressively starting in 2026.

Meanwhile, the S-SiCapTM Interposer utilizes a silicon wafer as its substrate, embedding high-density silicon capacitors within the interposer. This significantly enhances signal integrity and power stability for high-speed I/O applications such as die-to-die, SerDes, and HBM. In collaboration with supply-chain partners, AP Memory has introduced a reticle-stitching technology to enlarge interposer die area allowing more IC chiplets to meet the growing demand for higher-integration advanced packaging solutions. The S-SiCapTM Interposer has completed customer packaging and reliability validation, entering four-reticle mass production at the end of Q3’25. Additional development projects are currently underway.

Under this agreement, 54 will invest and partner with Hexagon Cup to expand and elevate the initial project into its next phase: a new global team circuit, officially named the Hexagon World Series, in what will become the first team Padel series to be delivered under the governance of FIP, fully integrated into the federative padel pyramid.

The agreement positions Hexagon World Series as the sport’s official global team circuit, governed by FIP and integrated fully into the official FIP calendar. Founded in 2004, the Hang Lung Mathematics Awards is a biennial competition that inspires secondary school students to formulate their own research journey and realize their creative potential in mathematics. Throughout its illustrious history, 2,800 students from over 200 schools have participated, submitting more than 500 research reports. Hang Lung donates HK$2.5 million for each competition—HK$1 million is allocated as prize money with the remainder supporting HKUST in providing vital initiatives including academic consultation, assessment, administration, and educational outreach activities. HKUST also offers scholarships for teachers nominated by the winning schools to further their studies through the Master of Science Program in Mathematics for Educators.

PRISM BioLab and Talus Bioscience Join Forces to Discover Novel Inhibitors of Transcription Factor and Protein-Protein Interaction Targets

TOKYO, Dec. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — PRISM BioLab, Co. Ltd. (“PRISM”) and Talus Bioscience, Inc. (“Talus Bio”) announced today that they entered into a collaboration to discover novel Inhibitors of transcription factor (TF) and protein-protein interaction (PPI) targets. By combining Talus Bio’s assay technologies for screening for TF and PPI inhibitors in native cellular environment with PRISM’s chemistry designed to target protein-protein interactions, companies are in a unique position to discover and develop drugs against these challenging targets.

Under the agreement, the companies will deploy PRISM’s proprietary small-molecule libraries in Talus Bio’s AI-guided regulome profiling screens to identify and optimize novel compounds against high-value TF and PPI targets. The collaboration aims to generate first-in-class chemical matter with direct functional effects on TF and PPI activity in live human cells. Talus Bio and PRISM will share the costs of discovery research and development and any profits generated from out-licensing and commercialization of discovered drug products.
