Ucore Rare Metals and Sumitomo Corporation of Americas Announce Strategic Collaboration in Rare Earth Supply Chain

Halifax, Nova Scotia – Newsfile Corp. – June 15, 2026 – Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSXV: UCU) (OTCQX: UURAF) (“Ucore” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce a strategic cooperation framework with Sumitomo Corporation of Americas (“SCOA“) to support the development of a diversified rare earth supply chain across North America and allied markets.

Under the Agreement, signed on June 10, 2026, the companies will collaborate on sourcing rare earth feedstock for Ucore’s Louisiana Strategic Metals Complex (SMC) and downstream offtake development for separated rare earth products. The focus is on selected middle and heavy rare earth elements critical to high-performance magnets and advanced materials applications primarily in Japan while preserving feedstock for additional processing for North American and allied markets.

The collaboration is intended to combine Ucore’s developing RapidSX™ technology platform at its Louisiana (“SMC“) rare earth refinery with SCOA’s global sourcing, logistics, and market access capabilities, including in Japan, as the parties work to support more diversified rare earth supply chains. Furthermore, the companies intend to formally cooperate as project partners in Ucore’s previously announced Global Partnership Initiative with the Government of Canada.

Ucore is advancing its rare earth processing platform in North America, including the development of its planned SMC in Louisiana and continued commercial demonstration with the Government of Canada. SCOA has longstanding experience in the global rare earth industry, including sourcing, trading, and supply chain development.

As part of the framework, SCOA will serve as Ucore’s distribution partner for designated separated rare earth products sold to selected customer segments in Japan and other mutually agreed industrial applications.

The companies will work together to explore opportunities for cooperation across the rare earth value chain, subject to mutually agreed commercial terms and existing business arrangements.

First Phosphate Closes Oversubscribed Private Placement to Existing and Follow-on Investors

Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Québec – (Newsfile Corp. – June 15, 2026) – First Phosphate Corp. (CSE: PHOS) (OTCQX: FRSPF) (OTCQX ADR: FPHOY) (FSE: KD0) (“First Phosphate” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce that, on June 12, 2026, it closed its financing (the “Offering”) to existing, and other follow-on, investors on terms as described in the Company news release dated May 28, 2026.

The Company raised a total of $15,420,640 through the issuance of 1,432,750 Hard Dollar Units at a price of $2.00 per Hard Dollar Unit for gross proceeds of $2,865,500 and 6,277,570 Flow-Through Shares at a price of $2.00 per Flow-Through Share for gross proceeds of $12,555,140.

Together with this Offering, and since June 2022, the Company has raised approximately $78 million in 11 management-led non-brokered private-placement financings and from funds received from option and warrant exercise.

In connection with the Offering, the Company paid $156,880 in cash finder’s fee, issued 322,920 compensation Common Shares at a deemed price of $2.00 per common share, and issued 401,360 Compensation Warrants, exercisable at a price of $2.50 per common share of the Company, until December 31, 2026, subject to the Accelerated Expiry Date. All securities issued under the Offering are subject to a four-month and one day statutory hold period in accordance with applicable securities laws. The Company intends to use the proceeds from the Offering as disclosed in the Company’s press release dated May 28, 2026. Six Regional Organisations Sign MoU to Strengthen Asia’s Dengue Response as Cases Rise

Announced at the 9th Asia Dengue Summit in conjunction with ASEAN Dengue Day and the first WHO-recognised World Dengue Day, the MoU establishes a regional framework for knowledge-sharing, advocacy and coordinated dengue action.

SINGAPORE, June 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Asia Dengue Voice and Action Group (ADVA) and partner organisations from across Asia have signed a new regional Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen regional cooperation on dengue prevention and control. The partnership comes at a critical time as countries face growing mosquito populations, rising dengue risks and increasing case numbers, driven in part by climate change and urbanisation in the region. 

The MoU establishes a regional framework for ongoing knowledge exchange, coordination and collaboration among advocacy groups, community organisations and public health stakeholders working to address dengue across Asia. Participating organisations will collaborate on public education, regional advocacy and the exchange of outbreak insights and community-based approaches, while exploring joint publications, policy recommendations, regional awareness campaigns, educational resources and digital knowledge-sharing platforms to support more coordinated dengue action across the region.

Signatories to the MoU include ADVA, the Philippines Empowering Networks to Defeat Dengue Coalition (END Dengue), Dengue Prevention Advocacy Malaysia (DPAM), Indonesia’s Kobar Lawan Dengue, the Singapore Dengue Alliance, and the International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ISNTD). As the convening organisation, ADVA will facilitate engagement on emerging insights, common challenges and explore opportunities for collective action.

The ceremony was part of the 9th Asia Dengue Summit – a regional platform that brings together policymakers, scientists, clinicians, public health experts and advocacy groups to advance dengue prevention and response across Asia.

Professor Ooi Eng Eong, from the Emerging Infectious Diseases Signature Research Programme at Duke-NUS Medical School, said, “We are at a very different point in the dengue response today compared with a decade ago. Advances in surveillance, vector control and vaccination have expanded what countries can do, but progress remains uneven. The next challenge is implementation: ensuring that these advances are used consistently, sustained beyond outbreak periods and translated into measurable public health impact. That will be critical if the region is to move closer to Zero Dengue Deaths by 2030.”

Associate Professor Ng Lee Ching, Group Director of Environmental Health Institute (EHI), National Environment Agency (NEA) Singapore, said, “Dengue control cannot rely on a single intervention or a single agency alone. Singapore’s experience has shown that sustained surveillance, clinical management, vector control, public awareness and community participation all play an important role in managing dengue risks. Running from 15–17 June, the Summit brings together stakeholders from across the dengue control ecosystem to bridge the gap between scientific progress and real-world impact.
