APP Group Highlights the Role of Sustainable Products for Hospitality and F&B Ahead of World Cup 2026

ORANGE, Calif., June 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — APP Group highlights the growing role of sustainable paper-based products for hospitality and food and beverage businesses as they prepare for World Cup 2026. With 48 teams and 104 matches across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, the tournament is expected to bring a sharp rise in visitors, meals served, and on-the-go consumption across host cities.

The waste challenge is already visible from past tournaments. During the previous World Cup, more than 2,100 tonnes of stadium waste were collected, including 202 tonnes of plastic materials, 65 tonnes of paper and cardboard, 60 tonnes of metals, and 4 tonnes of glass. For hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, and event venues, sustainability will increasingly be shaped by practical everyday choices: how food is presented, how takeaway orders are packed, and what materials are used in high-volume service.

“Sustainability in hospitality is often shaped by the small details guests interact with every day, from packaging to tissue products,” said Ian Lifshitz, Head of Sustainability & Public Affairs for the Americas at APP Group. “Through Foopak and our broader sustainability commitments, we aim to support businesses in making choices that are practical, responsible, and ready for high-volume service environments.”

Foopak, APP Group’s paperboard brand, provides certified, eco-friendly packaging for F&B businesses. Foopak Bio Natura is a plastic-free, PFAS-free, and compostable solution safe for direct food contact. Designed for high-volume applications like cups and trays, it helps brands reduce environmental impact while maintaining high performance and quality.

For APP Group, Foopak is part of a broader sustainability journey. Through Regenesis, the company brings together commitments on forest conservation and restoration, carbon management, production innovation, community empowerment, and long-term partnerships. World Cup 2026 offers the hospitality and F&B sectors a chance to prioritize sustainable guest experiences. Through Foopak and Regenesis, APP Group provides functional, scalable solutions to help the industry transition toward environmentally thoughtful service.

BOSTON, June 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Bambusa Therapeutics, Inc. (Bambusa Therapeutics), a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing next-generation, long-acting bispecific antibodies for immunology and inflammation, today announced positive preliminary data from the multiple ascending dose (MAD) cohorts of its Phase 1 trial evaluating BBT002 in healthy volunteers. The results were reviewed in an oral presentation at the European Academy of Allergy & Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Annual Congress 2026, taking place from June 12-15, 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey.

“We are highly encouraged by the preliminary Phase 1 multiple ascending dose data of BBT002 and were pleased to present these results at the EAACI Annual Congress—one of the leading global gatherings of allergy and immunology professionals,” said Thang Ho, Ph.D., Chief Development Officer at Bambusa Therapeutics. “Building on the SAD data we recently shared, the Phase 1 MAD data further support BBT002 as a potentially differentiated, long-acting bispecific antibody targeting IL-4Rα and IL-5 to address multiple complementary drivers of Type 2 inflammation. BBT002 continues to demonstrate rapid, deep, and sustained biologic activity across multiple clinically relevant biomarkers, including eosinophils, TARC, and pSTAT6, while also supporting the potential for extended dosing intervals through prolonged half-life. We believe these findings reinforce the opportunity for BBT002 to deliver more comprehensive disease control and enhanced dosing convenience for patients with respiratory and other eosinophil-driven inflammatory diseases.”

The presentation titled “Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of BBT002, a Novel Bispecific IL-4Rα/IL-5 Antibody: Results from the Single- and Multiple-Ascending Dose Portions of a Phase 1 Study of Healthy Volunteers” highlighted the following data:

Percent Change in Eosinophil (EOS) Levels: EOS is a clinically established biomarker of Type 2 airway inflammation and IL-5 pathway activity, with elevated levels associated with disease severity and exacerbation risk across multiple respiratory diseases.

  • BBT002 demonstrated rapid, robust, and sustained depletion of EOS for more than 8 weeks following multiple doses compared to baseline.

Percent Change in Thymus and Activation-Regulated Chemokine (TARC): TARC is a key Type 2 inflammatory chemokine that is associated with Th2-driven immune responses and is strongly correlated with disease activity across multiple respiratory inflammatory diseases.

  • BBT002 demonstrated dose-dependent, rapid, deep, and sustained reduction in TARC levels following multiple doses compared to baseline.

Percent Change in Phosphorylated STAT6 (pSTAT6): pSTAT6 is a key downstream mediator of Type 2 inflammation in respiratory inflammatory disease when assessing IL-4Rα pathway activity.

  • BBT002 achieved rapid, complete, and sustained inhibition of pSTAT6 for more than 8 weeks following multiple doses compared to baseline.

Pharmacokinetics (PK): BBT002 exhibited prolonged PK with a half-life of approximately 29.4 days at or above target exposure, consistent with the PK profile observed in the single ascending dose (SAD) cohorts, supporting the potential for extended dosing intervals.

Safety and Tolerability: BBT002 was observed to be well-tolerated across all doses evaluated in the SAD (previously presented at ATS 2026) and MAD cohorts throughout the trial.

Immunogenicity: The incidence and titer of anti-drug antibodies (ADA) was low, with no apparent impact on safety or PK.

“The growing body of clinical data emerging across our pipeline continues to support Bambusa’s strategy of developing next-generation bispecific antibodies designed to address multiple drivers of inflammation within a single molecule,” said Shanshan Xu, M.D., Ph.D., Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Bambusa Therapeutics. “As we advance BBT002 in ongoing clinical studies in patients with COPD and CRSwNP, we remain focused on evaluating its potential to deliver differentiated clinical benefit across Type 2 inflammatory diseases. In parallel, we look forward to reporting topline data this summer from our ongoing BBT001 study in atopic dermatitis. We believe these data have the potential to establish proof-of-concept for BBT001 and further inform the clinical potential of dual IL-4Rα and IL-31 inhibition in patients with atopic dermatitis.”

In parallel to the Phase 1 SAD and MAD cohorts in healthy volunteers, BBT002 is being evaluated in ongoing proof-of-concept trials in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), with topline results anticipated by year-end 2026 and the first half of 2027, respectively.

The BBT002 Phase 1 healthy volunteer data presentation from EAACI 2026 is available in the “Publications” section on Bambusa’s website, www.bambusatx.com.

Tradr Brings Double Long and Short Leverage to SpaceX

Tradr ETFs launched SPCM and SPCG, providing traders with 200% leveraged long and short exposure to SpaceX, one of the most anticipated IPOs in market history.

SPCM and SPCG give traders 200% bullish and bearish exposure to the most anticipated IPO in market history

NEW YORK, June 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Tradr ETFs, a provider of ETFs designed for sophisticated investors and professional traders, today announced the launch of two leveraged ETFs tied to SpaceX, offering traders access to both bullish and bearish leveraged exposure on the newly public company.

The new funds target the following daily investment results, before fees and expenses:

  • Tradr 2X Long SpaceX Daily ETF (Cboe: SPCM) – seeks 200% of the daily performance of SpaceX (Nasdaq: SPCX)
  • Tradr 2X Short SpaceX Daily ETF (Cboe: SPCG) – seeks -200% of the daily performance of SpaceX (Nasdaq: SPCX)

“SpaceX is one of the most anticipated public offerings of our generation, and opinions on the stock are likely to be just as strong as those on the company,” said Matt Markiewicz, Head of Product and Capital Markets at Tradr ETFs. “Some traders see a transformational business with enormous growth potential, while others see a stock that may face high expectations and significant valuation questions. We launched both SPCM and SPCG because active traders need tools that allow them to express either view with precision.”

About Tradr ETFs
Tradr ETFs are designed for sophisticated investors and professional traders who are looking to express high conviction investment views. The strategies include leveraged and inverse ETFs that seek short or long exposure to actively traded stocks and ETFs.

IMPORTANT RISK INFORMATION

Tradr ETFs are for sophisticated investors and professional traders with high conviction views and are very different from most other ETFs. The Funds are intended to be used as short-term trading vehicles and pursue leveraged investment objectives, which means they are riskier than alternatives that do not use leverage because the Funds magnify the performance of their underlying security. The volatility of the underlying security may affect a Fund’s return as much as, or more than, the return of the underlying security.

Investors in the fund should: (a) understand the risks associated with the use of leverage; (b) understand the consequences of seeking inverse and leveraged investment results; (c) for short ETFs, understand the risk of shorting; (d) intend to actively monitor and manage their investment. Fund performance will likely be significantly different than the benchmark over periods longer than the specified reset period and the performance may trend in the opposite direction than its benchmark over periods other than that period.

Leverage increases the risk of a total loss of an investor’s investment, may increase the volatility of the Funds, and may magnify any differences between the performance of the Funds and their reference security. The Funds seek leveraged investment results for a specific period (daily, monthly or quarterly). The exact exposure of an investment in the Fund intra-period will depend upon the movement of the reference security from the end of the prior period until the time of investment by the investor.

The Fund will not attempt to position its portfolio to ensure it does not gain or lose more than a maximum percentage of its net asset value on a given trading day. As a consequence, investors in a Fund that seeks two times daily performance would lose all of their money if the Fund’s underlying security moves more than 50% in a direction adverse to the Fund on a given trading day.

ETFs involve risk including possible loss of the full principal value. There is no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objective. Principal risks and other important risks may be found in the prospectus. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

ETF shares are bought and sold at market price (not NAV) and are not individually redeemed from the ETF. There can be no guarantee that an active trading market for ETF shares will develop or be maintained, or that their listing will continue or remain unchanged. Buying or selling ETF shares on an exchange may require the payment of brokerage commissions and frequent trading may incur brokerage costs that detract significantly from investment returns.

Investors should carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of the Funds. This and other important information about the Fund is contained in the Prospectus, which can be obtained by visiting www.tradretfs.com. The Prospectus should be read carefully before investing.

RZOLV Technologies Showcases Non-Cyanide Gold Recovery Platform at Mining Innovation on the Hill in Ottawa

Presentation highlighted MICA-supported scale-up progress, commercialization pathway, and Canada’s objective to lead cleaner mineral processing innovation

Vancouver, British Columbia – Newsfile Corp. – June 15, 2026 – RZOLV Technologies Inc. (TSXV: RZL) (OTCQB: RZOLF) (FSE: S711) (“RZOLV” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Duane Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer of RZOLV, presented at Mining Innovation on the Hill, held on June 9, 2026, in Ottawa, Ontario.

The event, organized by the Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator (“MICA”) and the Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation (“CEMI”), brought together Canadian mining innovators, government representatives, Members of Parliament, mining industry leaders, and commercialization stakeholders to highlight technologies that can strengthen Canada’s mining sector and accelerate the adoption of made-in-Canada solutions.

RZOLV was selected to participate as a presenter and showcased its proprietary RZOLV™ technology, a water-based, non-cyanide hydrometallurgical platform being developed for the recovery of gold and other metals from ores, concentrates, tailings, and secondary materials.

The Company’s presentation focused on the mining industry’s need for safer, cleaner, and more practical alternatives to conventional cyanide-based processing, particularly in applications where cyanide use may be constrained by permitting, environmental, metallurgical, or social-license considerations. RZOLV also highlighted the role of MICA’s support in advancing the Company’s technology from laboratory validation toward bulk-scale and field-relevant testing, helping generate the technical and operational data required to support future commercialization discussions with mining partners.

“Mining Innovation on the Hill was an important opportunity to speak directly with federal decision-makers and industry stakeholders about what it takes to build and commercialize a Canadian mining technology,” said Duane Nelson, President and CEO of RZOLV Technologies Inc. “Canada has the talent, resources, and innovation ecosystem needed to lead in cleaner mineral processing. Programs like MICA are critical because they help companies bridge the difficult gap between successful technical validation and real-world deployment.”

Mr. Nelson continued: “RZOLV is being developed to address one of the mining industry’s most persistent challenges: how to recover valuable metals efficiently while reducing reliance on legacy chemistries that can create permitting, environmental, and operational complexity. The support we have received through the MICA ecosystem has helped us move closer to commercialization by enabling larger-scale validation, stronger engagement with industry, and a clearer pathway toward deployment.”

MICA-Supported Progress

RZOLV’s MICA-supported work has provided important momentum in the Company’s commercialization journey. The program helped support scale-up activities designed to evaluate the performance of RZOLV™ under more representative operating conditions and to generate data relevant to future mining-partner discussions.

The Company believes this type of support is especially important for Canadian mining technology companies, where the path from laboratory success to commercial adoption often requires significant validation, third-party engagement, and field-relevant demonstration work before operators can assess full-scale implementation.

RZOLV’s presentation emphasized that commercialization of mining technology is not only a technical challenge, but also a strategic and capital-intensive process requiring collaboration among technology developers, mine operators, government, funders, regulators, and downstream partners.

Path to Commercialization

RZOLV continues to advance its technology through a disciplined commercialization strategy focused on third-party validation, pilot and demonstration-scale testing, mining-partner engagement, and integration with practical downstream recovery systems.

The Company is currently evaluating opportunities across several applications, including oxide and complex gold ores, concentrates, tailings, legacy materials, and selected secondary feedstocks. RZOLV’s objective is to position its platform as a practical alternative for operations seeking strong recovery performance with a lower-toxicity, non-cyanide process route.

The Company believes its technology may be particularly relevant in settings where conventional cyanide processing is restricted, difficult to permit, costly to operate, or challenged by ore chemistry. RZOLV’s broader commercialization strategy is focused on demonstrating technical performance, operating practicality, reagent management, metal recovery, and integration into processing flowsheets that can support future customer adoption.

Ottawa, Ontario – Newsfile Corp. – June 15, 2026 – Focus Graphite Inc. (TSXV: FMS) (OTCQB: FCSMF) (FSE: FKC0) (“Focus” or the “Company“) a Canadian developer of high-grade flake graphite deposits and advanced graphite materials for battery, defence, and industrial applications, is pleased to announce the completion of the Hydrogeological Assessment (the “Assessment” or the “Study“) for its wholly-owned Lac Knife Graphite Project (“Lac Knife” or the “Project“), concluding a multi-year environmental program and completing the major technical work required to support the Company’s Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (“ESIA“) submission.

Completed by Yves Leblanc, P.Geo., of Richelieu Hydrogeologie Inc. (“Richelieu“) under the supervision and management of IOS Geosciences Inc. (“IOS“), the assessment evaluated existing groundwater conditions, regional hydraulic systems, natural geochemical characteristics, and the long-term environmental performance of the redesigned dry-stack tailings storage facility (“TSF“) introduced as part of the 2021 Feasibility Study (“2021 Feasibility“) update.

Based on the monitoring of more than thirty (30) wells, the Assessment confirmed that naturally occurring groundwater conditions at Lac Knife are well understood. Groundwater in the immediate vicinity of the deposit exhibits slightly acidic and sulphate-rich characteristics associated with the natural oxidation of sulphide-bearing graphite mineralization but becomes progressively buffered as it migrates away from the deposit. The Study also established natural background concentrations for certain elements associated with the mineralization, creating a scientifically supported baseline for future groundwater monitoring and environmental modelling.

The Study provides important technical validation of the Company’s environmental management strategy and further de-risks the Project by confirming that natural hydrogeological conditions are well understood and that the engineered containment systems incorporated into the TSF design are expected to perform as intended over the long term.

Importantly, the Assessment confirmed that regional groundwater flow is naturally diverted away from the deposit by the hydraulic gradient associated with the Pekan River valley. While portions of the deposit surface naturally drain toward Knife Lake, subsurface groundwater follows a separate flow regime toward the southwest, reducing the potential for interaction between groundwater and surrounding aquatic environments.

The Study also evaluated the long-term performance of the redesigned dry-stack TSF. As contemplated in the 2021 Feasibility update prepared by NewFields Canada (“NewFields“), the facility incorporates a combination of dry-stacked tailings and approximately 10% dolomitic lime to buffer acid generation from sulphide oxidation. The design further incorporates an engineered impermeable liner system, non-acid generating waste rock containment dykes, underlying drainage infrastructure, and water collection and treatment systems intended to recycle water back into the processing circuit.

Using contaminant concentrations derived from 2021-2022 column leaching test work, the Assessment modelled a range of groundwater infiltration scenarios to evaluate the long-term behaviour of dissolved constituents. Under the engineered design assumptions, hydrogeological modelling indicates that dissolved constituents would be sufficiently diluted before reaching potential groundwater resurgence zones and are not forecast to exceed applicable environmental criteria established by Quebec’s Ministry of the Environment (“MELCCFP“) over the long term.

The Study also incorporated sensitivity analyses using infiltration scenarios from the tailings facility significantly beyond normal design expectations, including conditions that would require substantial degradation of the engineered liner and drainage systems. These analyses demonstrated the resilience of the TSF design while reinforcing the importance of the multiple engineered containment measures incorporated into the Project.

In addition, climate change precipitation scenarios were evaluated and did not indicate material adverse impacts on the long-term environmental performance of the facility. The Assessment concludes with recommendations for future monitoring and mitigation measures that will be integrated into the Project’s environmental management framework.

Dean Hanisch, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Graphite, commented, “Completing the remaining environmental studies and required reports is a major milestone for Lac Knife and reflects years of disciplined technical work and significant capital investment. In advanced mining jurisdictions, environmental assessment is a rigorous, multi-year process that cannot be rushed, and mining companies should realistically expect it to take five years or more to meet today’s standards. Having now completed these outstanding studies, Focus has advanced through a critical stage that provides Lac Knife with a meaningful first-mover advantage.

With Lac Knife’s exceptional 15.6% Cg grade, Focus is positioned to produce and sell graphite concentrate profitably while helping reduce reliance on foreign-controlled or potentially adversarial sources in North American and G7 supply chains. In graphite, grade is the critical equalizer: without exceptional grade, it is nearly impossible for North American graphite projects to compete globally, and Lac Knife’s grade is what sets the Project apart.”

Jason Latkowcer, Vice President, Corporate Development, added, “Supply chains begin with projects that can actually be built. The market often celebrates discoveries, but sophisticated investors understand that grade, infrastructure, permitting, and technical de-risking are where durable value is created. Environmental permitting represents one of the most important value creation catalysts in project development. Our focus now shifts to advancing through the regulatory process while continuing to evaluate pilot-scale production opportunities on location that could further accelerate the development of this strategic asset.”

With the completion of the Study, Focus has completed the major technical environmental work supporting its ESIA process, subject to government review. The Company will now advance the compilation and submission of its updated ESIA package to Quebec’s Ministere de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP), the provincial authority responsible for environmental review of mining projects. This submission is expected to initiate the next stage of the regulatory process, including public consultation activities administered through the Bureau d’audiences publiques sur l’environnement (“BAPE“), and represents an important step toward permitting and the continued advancement of the Lac Knife Project.

Lac Knife is recognized as one of North America’s highest-grade graphite deposits and is strategically positioned to support growing demand for critical minerals across energy storage, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, and emerging defence applications.
