Blackpanda Japan Announces Strategic Partnership with SoftBank to Strengthen Cyber Incident Response in Japan

SINGAPORE, Feb. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BLACKPANDA JAPAN K.K. (Representative Director: Masaki Hiraoka; hereinafter “Blackpanda”) today announces the launch of a strategic partnership with SoftBank Corp (hereinafter “SoftBank”).

Through this collaboration, SoftBank will provide incident response services against cyber attacks, including Blackpanda’s IR-1 solution, which helps companies across Japan prepare for, respond to, and recover from cyber attacks. The partnership is designed to support Japanese companies facing cyber threats by enhancing their ability to respond quickly and effectively when incidents occur.

WATCH VIDEO: WHAT IS BLACKPANDA IR-1?

Background of the Partnership

Cyber incidents such as ransomware attacks are no longer isolated to individual organisations. They often impact entire supply chains, creating serious management-level risks, including business suspension and halted transactions.

Despite this reality, many organisations still lack adequate incident response readiness after an attack. In some cases, compromised companies may unknowingly become a stepping stone for further attacks, amplifying damage across ecosystems.

As a result, cyber risk must be addressed not only as something to be prevented, but as a business challenge that assumes incidents will occur. Strengthening post-breach response capabilities has become an essential management priority.

Blackpanda’s “Cyber Fire Brigade”: A New Option for Incident Response

Blackpanda’s incident response service combines deep expertise and rapid deployment with an affordable annual subscription model. This approach makes professional incident response accessible to organisations that previously found such services out of reach.

Blackpanda responds to cyber incidents with the same urgency as firefighters responding to a blaze. When speed is critical, expert teams are rapidly dispatched to investigate, contain, and mitigate damage before it spreads.

CyCraft’s founders joined representatives from the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Yuanta Securities, auditors, and legal advisors to celebrate the company’s listing on the TWSE Innovation Board.

CyCraft is forged in one of the world’s most challenging cyber environments. Taiwan faces persistent and large-scale cyber threats from highly-motivated threat actors targeting government, semiconductor supply chains, financial systems, and critical infrastructure. Rather than theorizing about threats, CyCraft has spent years defending against them at national and industry scale.

That experience has produced real-world operational advantages global markets increasingly demand: early-warning intelligence, autonomous machine-speed defense, and field-proven AI automation that cannot be casually replicated.

As generative AI reshapes software development, many SaaS categories face commoditization through “vibe-coding.” Cybersecurity stands apart. Mission-critical defense requires real adversarial data, ultra-low latency, zero-configuration precision, continuous adaptation against sophisticated attacks, and regulatory-grade trust. These capabilities are not synthetic. AI does not replace cyber defense—it amplifies defenders who already operate in real operational environments.

CyCraft’s platform is built around three growth engines:

Enterprise Cyber Resilience.

Its flagship XCockpit AI platform operates over 600K sensors, protecting hundreds of government agencies, financial institutions, and semiconductor leaders across Asia-Pacific. The platform delivers preemptive exposure discovery, automated attack-path simulation, SEMI E187-compliant supply-chain risk mapping, and autonomous triage and response. The shift from reactive protection to preemptive resilience defines CyCraft’s core value proposition.

AI Agent & LLM Security.

As enterprises deploy LLMs and autonomous agents, CyCraft addresses a rapidly emerging risk layer. XecGuard provides ultra-low-latency AI guardrails to detect and prevent prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exfiltration, and tool misuse in real time. Paired with XecART, an automated red-teaming and evaluation platform, CyCraft delivers a scalable, cloud-based and on-prem AI gateway for secure multi-agent orchestration.

The XecGuard and XecART dashboards enable enterprise AI governance with real-time guardrails, automated red teaming, and flexible deployment via on-premises environments or cloud-based APIs.

CyCraft’s XecDefend platform pioneers cyber protection and disruption capabilities for AI-driven anti-drone defense. The solution enables autonomous detection, soft-kill response, and resilient protection for unmanned aerial, maritime, and ground systems—offering software-defined defense for critical infrastructure and defense supply chains.

CyCraft’s credibility is reinforced by third-party validation, including seven appearances in Gartner research, three MITRE ATT&CK evaluations with zero-configuration and zero-latency performance, and the “Next-Big” Award from former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen, recognizing CyCraft as the “TSMC of cybersecurity.”.

In 2025 alone, CyCraft handled multiple critical incidents for Taiwan-listed companies and completed over ten forensic investigations in support of cyber insurance engagements in Japan.

Chairman Benson Wu stated, “In Taiwan, with AI, we help secure the world. This listing accelerates our global expansion through organic growth and strategic M&A. Our goal is to surpass 50% overseas revenue by 2030 and build Asia’s most trusted AI-native cybersecurity brand.”

Sky Labs Launches ‘CART ON’, the World’s First Ring-Type Wearable Blood Pressure Monitoring Solution for Hospital Wards

– Establishment of a blood pressure monitoring lineup that addresses every environment, from daily life to hospital wards

SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sky Labs (CEO Jack Byunghwan Lee) announced on the 10th that it has launched ‘CART ON’, the world’s first ward-specific blood pressure monitoring solution that utilizes a ring-type blood pressure monitor to automatically measure and manage the blood pressure data of inpatients.

‘CART ON’ Solution Display Example
‘CART ON’ Solution Display Example

With the launch of CART ON, Sky Labs’ business scope has expanded beyond the existing outpatient and consumer markets into the field of inpatient ward monitoring. As the ward-specific solution is added to the certified medical devices-the ‘CART BP pro’ for outpatient clinical use and the ‘CART BP’ for general consumers-a lineup has been completed that addresses every stage where blood pressure measurement is required, from daily life to hospital wards.

The CART ON solution is optimized for enhancing convenience in medical settings by streamlining cumbersome measurement procedures. When medical staff prescribe a ring-type monitor instead of a conventional cuff-type device for patients who require 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), the device’s built-in photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor automatically measures the patient’s blood pressure and collects relevant data.

The collected data is linked with Seers Technology’s inpatient monitoring platform, ‘thynC’, and is automatically transmitted to and recorded in the nurse station dashboard and the hospital’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Currently, Daewoong Pharmaceutical, a South Korean pharmaceutical company, holds the exclusive domestic sales rights for this solution and plans to supply it to hospital distribution networks nationwide.

Sky Labs has secured global-level technical and clinical reliability by conducting comparative clinical trials with existing standard methodsn — including Auscultation, cuff-based 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), and Invasive Arterial Line (A-line) — to prove the clinical validity of the ring-type blood pressure monitor applied to CART ON. Notably, through comparative trials with the A-line, considered the ‘Gold-Standard’ of blood pressure measurement, the company proved that precise monitoring is possible even in situations with high blood pressure fluctuations.

The introduction of the solution is expected to further enhance the work efficiency of medical staff in wards. In terms of nursing, it reduces potential errors that may occur during manual entry and simplifies recording and reporting tasks, helping nurses focus on their core professional duties such as medication and fluid management. Doctors can also improve the accuracy of diagnosis and the appropriateness of drug prescriptions based on objective data measured periodically.

The physical discomfort experienced by patients is also expected to improve. Since there is no pressure from tightening the arm or mechanical noise, the sleep disturbance issues caused by conventional cuff-type blood pressure monitors can be minimized. In addition, measurement is possible without any separate restrictions even when the patient is moving or active within the hospital, allowing for the easy collection of 24-hour blood pressure fluctuation data.

Jack Byunghwan Lee, CEO of Sky Labs, stated, “CART ON is a solution that improves the efficiency of managing hypertensive patients in wards through clinically proven technology.” He added, “We will continue to advance vital signal monitoring technologies, including blood pressure, to contribute to the establishment of a smart ward environment that simultaneously enhances work efficiency for medical staff and convenience for patients.”

About Sky Labs https://skylabs.io/en/

Founded in September 2015, Sky Labs is a healthcare company that develops and operates “CART”, a ring-type medical device and platform for monitoring chronic disease patients. Since the first CART was developed in 2020 for atrial fibrillation monitoring using cardiac signals from optical sensors, the company has expanded its capabilities. In 2023, Sky Labs received medical device approval for “CART BP pro,” a ring-type monitor designed for 24-hour blood pressure measurement. In 2024, CART BP pro was recognized by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) under the existing medical procedure of ’24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring’ (reimbursement code ‘E6547’), and is currently being prescribed in hospitals and clinics across Korea. Furthermore, in September 2025, the company launched “CART BP,” a consumer-grade ring-type blood pressure monitor, which is available through its official online store and various other online channels.

AxxonAI has also been granted Malaysia Digital status, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting Malaysia’s growth as a regional AI hub serving global markets.

AXXONAI: A UNIQUE PLATFORM

Designed to emulate real-world data patterns with astonishing accuracy, this technology enables organisations across industries to build impactful, effective, and ethical AI-driven solutions that support growth, innovation, and better decision-making. AxxonAI is a privacy-centred generative AI with a multi-tiered synthetic data cognitive intelligence platform, designed for enterprise-level artificial intelligence applications in the ASEAN region and beyond.

AxxonAI generates synthetic data using Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with LLMs. This enables the creation of privacy-safe, statistically equivalent datasets for industries working with real-world data. Rather than deploying one-size-fits-all datasets, AxxonAI can now create datasets tailored to the local market, recognising its unique data patterns, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

The platform’s added feature is data decoupling and fine-tuning, which are important concepts in machine learning and data engineering.  It separates or isolates different aspects of synthetic data generation to improve control, quality, and utility.  Fine-tuning involves adapting pre-trained models using artificially generated datasets. This becomes a significant advancement for Segmentation & Hyper-personalisation in BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible) consumer contexts.

Sonny (Soumitra) Dey, the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Athenatech.ai and AxxonAI, emphasised, “AI should be both powerful and principled. Our synthetic data engine, AxxonAI, proves that businesses don’t have to choose between innovation and privacy. This technology empowers enterprises to achieve real growth while maintaining high standards of data ethics and security. AxxonAI is specifically built to meet the needs of businesses in Asia and the ASEAN region. Its localisation and personalised synthetic data platform, with a focus on ASEAN, distinguish us in the market. We aim to enable our partners to make optimal business decisions, supported by reliable, real-world data. In the coming months, we will be partnering with numerous companies on different versions of our AxxonAI integrated with Agentic Function.”

LOCAL FOCUS, GLOBAL REACH

Currently, ASEAN enterprises and companies lack sufficient localised and regional data[1] that is both readily available and structured in formats suitable for effectively training AI models for the regional market. Existing AI data solutions lack regional customisations and are cost-prohibitive for businesses, particularly for SMEs to adopt fully.  While general models are available, the datasets are global-centric and not tailored to the regional market.

The cost of using global datasets is also higher[2], as they include all available data and are not personalised and localised for the region’s requirements. Consequently, the outputs provided to customers may not be as accurate or aligned with local insights. Furthermore, strict privacy regulations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010/ General Data Protection Regulation (PDPA/GDPR) limit companies’ ability to use real-world customer data for AI training and development.

AxxonAI is designed to help unlock a business’s full potential while ensuring data privacy and reducing compliance risk. What makes AxxonAI stand out is its ASEAN focus and the use of a localised LLM designed for regional languages and business practices, supported by the Quality Score feature included in the platform. AxxonAI is also designed with PDPA compliance at its core and, importantly, is affordable for even SMEs to adopt for their own use.

PARTNERSHIP IN HEALTHCARE

AxxonAI, in partnership with Sancy Berhad, one of Malaysia’s leading digital healthcare solution providers, will now enable clinicians and administrators to derive powerful, actionable insights from patient data while maintaining absolute compliance with privacy regulations and eliminating the risk of personal identification. The collaboration marks a significant step toward transforming healthcare delivery through secure, intelligent, and sovereign AI-driven solutions.

Under this partnership, AxxonAI’s advanced synthetic data generation and intelligence capabilities will integrate with Sancy Berhad’s healthcare ecosystem to accelerate innovation in patient care, operational efficiency, and healthcare tourism. The collaboration will initially focus on two flagship initiatives:

  • Connected Care: A data-driven healthcare tourism solution designed to attract international patients while ensuring privacy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Ring: A patient-centric care model that leverages synthetic data and predictive intelligence to improve outcomes, reduce costs, and streamline hospital-to-home care journeys.

Both initiatives pave the way for a more cost-efficient, patient-centric, and effective healthcare system.

Prabuddha Chakravertty, Group Managing Director of Sancy Berhad, shared, “Through AxxonAI’s advanced synthetic data intelligence platform, Sancy Berhad is transforming how it approaches patient care, resource allocation, and clinical decision-making. The platform generates statistically accurate, regulatory-compliant synthetic patient profiles that mirror real-world populations, empowering healthcare teams to optimise treatment pathways, predict critical care demands, and improve patient outcomes without ever compromising individual privacy.

COMING UP

Multiple versions of AxxonAI are currently under development, including implementations based on Small Language Models (SLMs) and integrations with Agentic Functions, specifically designed for SMEs in Malaysia. The team is testing and refining these domain-specific AI models to launch solutions for Agriculture, Automotive, BFSI, Telecommunications, Property, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Media & Entertainment by early 2026.

Sonny (Soumitra) Dey (ex-Accenture) currently leads a core team at AxxonAI, comprising top Malaysian and Global AI experts. The able team is mentored by Malaysian industry stalwarts such as Sharani Mohamed (Technopreneur, known for Government Defence & Security Technology Solutions Architect) and Omar Shaari (Ex-Dentsu).

The core team of AxxonAI, consists of: Sutapa Bhattacharya, Managing Partner, Strategy, Innovation & Business Continuity (Ex-Leo Burnett and TNB), Sudip Ghosh, CRO – BFIS/Telco/Energy (Former JAPAC & MEA Sales, Oracle & IBM), Teruchelwam Pillai, Chief Technology Officer – Healthcare (Ex-Sime Darby), Dr S. Katae, Chief AI Engineer – LLM (Ex-Deep Mind), Gloria Gomes, Strategy & Insight (Ex-Byte Dance Malaysia), Gerald Faust, Sovereign Cloud & Data Centres  (Ex JAPAC & ME Lead SNP & SAP), Amit Kurhekar, Martech (Ex Moneylion and P&G), Jacek Kucieba, Chief of Business Efficiency and Impact (Ex SAS), Ragunathan Marthammuthu, AI Academy & L&D (Right Track Education), Haris Mateen, Chief of Agentic Solutions (Ex MIMS), Saravanan Ramaiah, Chief Finance Officer (Ex-IPG), Sugato Banerjee, Country Head, South Asia and Dubai (Ex-JWT, Standard Chartered, Visa, Videocon),  and Adriel Chan, Lead – GTM

## END ##

About AxxonAI

AxxonAI, developed by Athenatech.ai, a Malaysia Digital–certified company, is a next-generation synthetic GenAI platform that empowers organisations to maximise the value of their data—without compromising privacy, security, or regulatory compliance.

Built on advanced LLM frameworks and methodologies, AxxonAI produces high-fidelity synthetic data that mirrors real-world statistical patterns while containing zero personally identifiable information. This enables enterprises to innovate, analyse, and scale with confidence.

AxxonAI’s core capability lies in data decoupling and fine-tuning, key concepts in machine learning and data engineering. These processes separate and control aspects of synthetic data generation, improving data quality, flexibility, and practical usefulness. Fine-tuning involves customising pre-trained models using artificially generated datasets, delivering significant advantages for segmentation and hyper-personalisation in BANI consumer environments.

The BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible) world presents distinct challenges for understanding consumers. In such volatile conditions, consumer behaviour shifts rapidly and unpredictably. Traditional datasets quickly become outdated, while privacy regulations restrict access to detailed personal information. Synthetic data helps model uncertainty and volatility, enabling the creation of scenarios that reflect the fragile, nonlinear dynamics of real-world consumer decision-making. This is where AxxonAI shines.

“At iQIYI, we have spent 15 years forging emotional bonds online,” said Yu GONG, Founder and CEO of iQIYI. “With iQIYI LAND, we’re bringing that connection into the real world. By blending original Chinese IP with immersive technologies such as VR and AI, we are pioneering a next-generation, interactive theme park deeply tied to our content. As demand for offline entertainment surges, we see iQIYI LAND as a new driver for our long-term growth.”

iQIYI executives, local partners, industry leaders, celebrities, and member representatives gathered for the opening ceremony. Leading cast members from hit dramas made surprise appearances in themed zones, bringing their on-screen stories to life. In the “Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty” zone, principal cast members engaged with visitors; in the “The Knockout”zone, one actor returned to the recreated “Old Factory Street”; and in the “Mysterious Lotus Casebook,” a performer appeared on the immersive stage. Their presence marked the transformation of beloved screen narratives into interactive experiences, welcoming the park’s first guests from across China.

Covering approximately 10,000 square meters, iQIYI LAND Yangzhou features a compact, high-efficiency indoor design for year-round operation and rapid IP cycles. Unlike traditional outdoor theme parks, it leverages digital production and immersive engineering to enable fast iteration and seamless content integration.

The park features seven core experience zones:

Immersive Theaters: A flagship immersive ride combining VR, motion systems, scent, wind, sound and real actors. Visitors enter story worlds such as “Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty”, participating directly in plotlines through interactive missions. Fans of “Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty” relive climactic moments through original voice acting synced with motion platforms, scents, and touch effects (walking treacherous cliffs, soaring through skies, battling mythical human-faced eagle monsters).

Light-and-Shadow Spaces: A digital technology to recreate cinematic scenes such as the grasslands of “To the Wonder” or fantasy cloud worlds from “Love Between Fairy and Devil”. Visitors walk inside dynamic visual environments and trigger story elements through movement.

Immersive Stage Performances: Live theatrical productions integrating LED screens, rotating stages, projections and real actors. For example, “Mysterious Lotus Casebook” features martial arts choreography and cinematic effects, blending drama and technology.

Iconic Film-and-TV Scene Photo Spots: Highly recognizable drama locations reconstructed for visitors, such as Gao Qiqiang’s house from “The Knockout”, Zhang Fengxia’s grocery store from “To the Wonder” and Canal teahouse scenes from “Northward”.

Live Character Interactions: Professional performers act as IP characters, creating surprise storylines and role-play interactions. Visitors can unlock hidden plots and experience “being inside the drama.”

Social Games: Multiplayer interactive game zones and competitions projected onto LED screens creating social entertainment and spectator engagement.

IP-Exclusive Retail and Dining: Themed restaurants and merchandise shops with IP-inspired menus and limited-edition collectibles. Dining is designed as part of storytelling rather than simple food service.

iQIYI LAND aims to extend IP lifecycles and deepen fan engagement through immersive experiences and consumer products, supporting future content releases. New parks in Kaifeng, a city in eastern Henan Province in central China, and in Beijing, China’s capital in the north,  are in development, blending local culture with storytelling. By merging digital innovation with Chinese narratives, iQIYI is creating destinations that attract audiences beyond the screen and fuel growth in China’s cultural tourism sector.
