/C O R R E C T I O N — Heng Ren Partners/

In the news release, Independent Sinovac Shareholders Express Strong Support for Immediate Dividend Payment, issued Nov. 11, 2025 by Heng Ren Partners over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that changes have been made. The complete, corrected release follows, with additional details at the end:

Independent Sinovac Shareholders Express Strong Support for Immediate Dividend Payment

BOSTON, Nov. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (NASDAQ: SVA) shareholder Heng Ren Silk Road Investments LLC today announced that it has heard from more than 100 independent Sinovac shareholders expressing overwhelming support for the immediate payment of a $19.00 dividend previously declared by the board.

Sinovac’s stock has been halted from trading since 2019. As a result, Sinovac shareholders missed out on an extraordinary windfall from the success of its COVID-19 vaccine, CoronaVac, and its billions of dollars in sales during the pandemic due to the trading halt. In July 2025, the current Board paid a $55.00 dividend to shareholders as partial compensation for dividends that had not been paid during the trading halt.

The board declared an additional $19.00 dividend per common share on June 17, 2025. The dividend was announced as part of the current board’s effort to pay independent Sinovac shareholders dividends they did not receive but which had been paid to certain affiliates and insiders who were minority shareholders of Sinovac subsidiaries.

More than four months later, Sinovac has failed to announce record and payment dates for the declared dividend.

Sinovac’s failure to provide an update on the promised dividend is especially surprising as both the current board and the SAIF-led consortium that is seeking to replace the current board campaigned on the promise to pay dividends to benefit Sinovac shareholders.

“All of the decisionmakers with influence in the Sinovac saga – the board, insiders, and management – should understand and respect the wishes of independent shareholders,” said Peter Halesworth, the founder of Boston, Massachusetts-based Heng Ren. “Independent shareholder support in favor of dividends is clear and overwhelming. The current board should set record and payment dates for the promised $19.00 dividend now.”

Among the highlighted performances were multiple gold medal-winning acts from major international circus awards, offering audiences an immersive encounter with different cultures and the enduring appeal of circus artistry.

“Circus is international by nature—it transcends borders and connects different peoples”, said Urs Pilz, President of Fédération Mondiale du Cirque(the World Circus Federation)and Vice President of Monte-Carlo Circus Festival. “China has earned more top honors at the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival than any other nation. With the successful conclusion of its 8th edition, the China International Circus Festival will continue to contribute to the vitality of global circus culture from its base in Hengqin. With a spirit of openness, confidence, and creativity, the festival aims to share a distinctive Chinese perspective with the international community, while supporting the cultural development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Bitget GetAgent Brings Satoshi Back into the Chat — and the World Had Questions

VICTORIA, Seychelles, Nov. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), published its 2025 Ask Satoshi Global Report, uncovering the questions crypto users around the world would ask Bitcoin’s mysterious creator if they finally had the chance. The insights come from Bitget’s #AskSatoshiWithGetAgent campaign, which invited users to “speak” to Satoshi through GetAgent, Bitget’s AI-powered crypto assistant, in celebration of the Bitcoin Whitepaper’s seventeenth anniversary.

Bitget GetAgent Brings Satoshi Back into the Chat — and the World Had Questions
Bitget GetAgent Brings Satoshi Back into the Chat — and the World Had Questions

Over a two-week period, more than 10,000 participants across 90 countries submitted more than 30,000 questions through GetAgent, Bitget’s AI-powered crypto assistant, offering a rare view into how today’s crypto community interprets Bitcoin’s origin story in an era shaped by artificial intelligence.

The report shows that curiosity around Bitcoin’s purpose remains just as strong as interest in its price. Nearly 40% of all questions centered on whether Bitcoin has stayed true to its original ideals, with users exploring themes of decentralization, trust, and the evolution of digital money. Submissions spanned more than ten languages while vibrant participation emerged from Southeast Asia, South Asia and European markets. A standout 75% of English-language questions came from non-English-speaking countries, highlighting how AI tools like GetAgent are lowering language barriers and helping make crypto learning more accessible across state lines.

AI adoption and trading behavior also showed clear parallels. 90% of core GetAgent users executed trades within the past 30 days, with 75% active in the last week. Peak trading occurred between 10 PM and midnight, and GetAgent usage followed the same pattern, suggesting that traders are increasingly turning to AI for real-time support during active market sessions. Daytime usage leaned toward education, research, and strategy planning, emphasizing GetAgent’s dual role as both an execution partner and a learning tool.

Differences between VIP and regular users were also evident. VIP users interacted with GetAgent more directly, often through K-line charts, and typed more customized queries focused on hedging, market cycles, and macro shifts. Regular users preferred suggested prompts, using the assistant to deepen understanding. Together, these behaviors show how GetAgent mirrors user maturity, trading confidence, and market exposure.

The Ask Satoshi experience captured the philosophical side of the crypto world. The most common questions asked whether Bitcoin still reflects Satoshi’s intent, whether Satoshi would embrace AI and why the creator chose to disappear. Regional variations added nuance with certain speakers focusing on decentralization, with other speakers exploring identity and legacy or security risks.

“The report confirms the global crypto audience is maturing from speculators to stewards, asking profound questions about purpose, not just price,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “Seeing users speak to ‘Satoshi’ through AI showed how global this conversation has become. It’s a reminder that crypto is for the masses and people are trying to understand its fundamentals differently.”

The report reflects a global crypto community that is becoming more knowledgeable, more diverse, and more influenced by AI. As crypto and AI continue to intersect, Bitget’s Universal Exchange model aims to support this next phase, one where traders engage not only with markets, but with the ideas and innovations shaping them. Co-authored with Bitget’s GetAgent, the report draws on the AI assistant’s analytical depth to reveal the patterns, questions, and cultural nuances that define today’s crypto landscape. It demonstrates how GetAgent is evolving from a trading tool into an intelligent collaborator, capable of interpreting global sentiment and illuminating how people around the world think about the future of finance.

RMHC Family Stories

One family that has benefited from the support of RMHC is 14-year-old, Sam, who was flown to Townsville University Hospital in critical condition after a shark attack on Thursday Island. While Sam undergoes treatment, his mum, Shanna has been able to stay at Ronald McDonald House Townsville. Sam’s story is a stark reminder of how quickly life can change, and the vital role of RMHC for families across Australia.

Sam’s Mum, Shanna says: “Since my son’s accident, as a Mum, I’ve found myself stepping into so many roles I never could have imagined. Throughout it all, Ronald McDonald House has provided me with a safe space from the chaos. With it being just a five-minute walk from the Hospital, this has allowed me to stay close to my son, and if I’m needed, I’m never too far away. The house is where I can take off my armour, breathe, refresh, and gather myself, before I need to return. Ronald McDonald House has given me the strength to show up for my boy, day after day – and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

17-year-old Ethan has defied the odds through three cancer diagnoses and spent more than 600 nights at Ronald McDonald House Monash. Now cancer-free, Ethan’s story has come full circle. After meeting McDonald’s Licensees, Tim and Jen Peut at the RMHC Gala Ball and expressing his wish of having a job just like his friends, he landed his first job at his local Macca’s in Sale, Victoria just four days later – marking the next chapter of his journey.

Ethan’s Mum, Mindy on their journey with Ronald McDonald House Charities: “Ronald McDonald House has been a home away from home. Unfortunately, it isn’t something that people know about unless they use it. So that’s why we want to be the voice, to show people that it’s out there and it’s for people to use. We’ve also had the pleasure of using the Ronald McDonald House Learning Program. This has helped Ethan and his sister, Lilly both in a subject or two subjects, each of choice. We’ve also been a part of the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat Program since Ethan was two years old. We stayed at Fiona Lodge, which was absolutely great for the fact that we were concentrating on medical things, schoolwork, and work.”

Japan Plans to Raise Visa Fees from 2026 Amid Overtourism Concerns

Mount Fuji, Japan. This photo is used for representational purposed only.

Japan plans to raise its visa issuance fees for foreign visitors starting in the 2026 fiscal year, as the country faces an unprecedented tourism boom and growing concerns over overtourism, according to Japan’s national daily The Mainichi.

The plan, expected to be included in the government’s comprehensive economic measures to be compiled later this month, comes under the leadership of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, Japan’s first female leader who took office in late October. Her administration aims to balance the nation’s surging tourism growth with sustainable management.

The planned increase will mark the first visa fee adjustment since the Foreign Ministry began tracking visa issuance data in 1978.

Currently, Japan charges JPY 3,000 (approximately USD 19.50) for a single-entry visa and JPY 6,000 (approximately USD 39) for a double-entry or multiple-entry visa, significantly lower than fees charged by other major destination countries. Meanwhile, the United States charges approximately USD 185, the United Kingdom around USD 167, and euro-zone nations roughly USD 104 for comparable visas.

According to the Japanese media, the revised fees will be aligned with international standards, with the additional revenue funding initiatives to address overtourism and improve tourism infrastructure management.

Japan’s tourism industry has experienced explosive growth in recent years. The country welcomed nearly 37 million visitors in 2024, the highest number in its history. According to the Japan National Tourism Organization, arrivals from January to September 2025 reached 31.65 million, up 17.7 percent year-on-year, the fastest pace ever for surpassing 30 million visitors.

By adjusting visa fees and investing in sustainable tourism measures, the Japanese government aims to alleviate overcrowding and environmental pressures that have increasingly affected many of the country’s most popular destinations.

METAL JAPAN 2025: bedra Expands Presence in Japan, Empowering Japan’s AI Manufacturing with Advanced Copper Alloys

TOKYO, Nov. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — bedra Vietnam Alloy Materials (bedra Vietnam), a subsidiary of the century-old German brand bedra, is participating in the METAL JAPAN 2025 in Tokyo from November 12 to 14. In its consecutive years at the event, bedra Vietnam is accelerating its strategic expansion into the Japanese market, with a focus on meeting the rising demand for high-performance materials in AI infrastructure and precision manufacturing. Visitors are invited to explore the company’s latest innovations at booth 34-40.

At the core of bedra Vietnam’s showcase is a portfolio of advanced copper alloy solutions tailored for two critical applications: busbar systems in AI data centers and liquid cooling components for AI servers.

In response to the escalating power demands and reliability standards of AI-driven data centers, bedra Vietnam presents a comprehensive busbar solution. As a critical element in AI data infrastructure, the busbar not only functions as a current conduit but also underpins system stability by efficiently distributing power to all key components within a server.

bedra Vietnam’s high-purity copper busbars, produced through dedicated manufacturing lines, are engineered to minimize energy loss while offering exceptional corrosion resistance and weldability. For compact power distribution cabinets, the busbars feature diverse cross-sectional designs and superior bending capabilities, optimizing space utilization in high-density layouts. At the server rack level, bedra Vietnam delivers precision busbars compliant with Open Compute Project (OCP) specifications, ensuring seamless integration with AI server architectures. These products are available in coated (Ag/Sn) and uncoated variants to meet varied operational requirements.

A new production initiative for busbar alloys has been launched in 2025, with an annual supply target of 2,000 tons by 2026. To strengthen its service network, bedra Vietnam is collaborating with local partners, including Alconix Nagoya and EBC Tokyo, ensuring technical support and a steady supply for industrial clients.

The demanding thermal management challenges faced by AI servers and high-performance computing systems, is also considered within bedra alloy’s strategic plan. Their liquid cooling plate,to be present in the show, is born to address this tough nut. With thermal conductivity exceeding 390 W/(m•K), these custom profiles are manufactured with tightly controlled microstructures to support complex machining. The alloys’ ultra-low oxygen content eliminates leakage risks during high-temperature brazing, ensuring system stability. Additionally, the company’s Cu-Zr alloy demonstrates outstanding resistance to high-temperature softening, with post-weld strength surpassing pure copper by over 30%. This enables the development of lighter, more compact cooling components, delivering reliable thermal performance for cutting-edge equipment.

As the flagship of bedra’s manufacturing and R&D operations in Asia, bedra Vietnam exemplifies strategic importance, combining German process precision with Vietnamese agility to produce ultra-pure, high-strength copper alloys, including OFC, ETP, and CuCrZr, with copper purity reaching 99.99% and conductivity up to 101% IACS.

With a combination of continuous material innovation and localized responsiveness, bedra Vietnam aims to play a vital role in enabling breakthroughs across key industries, including energy, electronics, and artificial intelligence, laying the foundation for smarter and more sustainable industrial development.

Visa Expands Visa Intelligent Commerce Across Asia Pacific, Prepares for AI Commerce Pilot by Early 2026

  • Fosters trust between AI agents and merchants with secure seamless transactions that redefine digital commerce
  • Catch Visa Intelligent Commerce in action from 12-14 November at Singapore Fintech Festival 2025

SINGAPORE, Nov. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Visa, a global leader in digital payments, today announced significant strides in expanding Visa Intelligent Commerce across Asia Pacific, accelerating the region’s push into agentic commerce – a new era where AI-powered agents shop and pay on behalf of consumers. This expansion delivers fresh progress on Visa’s agentic commerce strategy by introducing new security protocols and pilot programs that are ready to build upon earlier partnerships and initiatives.

 Building an AI-Ready Commerce Ecosystem

Visa Intelligent Commerce, a comprehensive suite of integrated APIs and a partner program, utilises Visa’s secure infrastructure to enable safe, transparent, and consent-driven payments by AI agents, on behalf of consumers. It incorporates features like tokenisation, authentication, payment instructions, and transaction signals, allowing AI agents to operate transparently and securely, and empowers consumers to confidently trust AI-driven commerce interactions to help them shop and pay online.

Over the past year, AI-driven traffic to retail websites has surged over 4,700%, and 85%[1] of shoppers who have used AI to shop say it improved their shopping experience. Today, Visa is advancing its infrastructure, standards, and capabilities to power AI-driven commerce, opening new opportunities for consumers across Asia Pacific.

Soon, AI agents integrated into familiar platforms will be able to transact using Visa’s 4.8 billion credentials at millions of merchant locations worldwide. This means consumers could simply instruct their AI agent to book travel or buy movie tickets, and have the entire purchase executed securely – a seamless experience backed by Visa’s network and safeguards.

Building Merchant Confidence with Trusted Agent Protocol

Trusted Agent Protocol is a cornerstone of Visa Intelligent Commerce, a new ecosystem-led framework designed by Visa to provide merchants the much-needed assurance in an AI-driven world. Trusted Agent Protocol enable merchants to recognise and verify trusted AI agents with genuine commerce intent, addressing a key concern as online traffic from AI agents grows. It uses agent-specific cryptographic signatures to ensure secure, verified transactions to prevent fraud by distinguishing legitimate agents from malicious bots, and helps to maintain visibility of the consumer behind the agent – preserving customer relationships.

Crucially, Trusted Agent Protocol is designed as an open, low-code solution for merchants to integrate seamlessly without overhauling their infrastructure to benefit. This now ensures that AI agents act on behalf of consumers with transparency, verified intent, and secure credentials. With this framework, merchants can treat AI-driven purchases with the same confidence as human-driven ones.

T.R. Ramachandran, Head of Products and Solutions, Asia Pacific, Visa, said, “Agentic commerce is transforming the very fabric of online payment transactions, requiring a unified ecosystem to unlock its full potential. With Visa Intelligent Commerce and its cornerstone, Trusted Agent Protocol, Visa is connecting consumers, AI agents and merchants through secure, scalable solutions. This ensures every interaction is verified and transparent, empowering all parties of the purchase to embrace this future with confidence.”

Continued Momentum Across Asia Pacific

Visa is actively collaborating with some of the biggest players in AI, Tech and Payments, including Ant International, LG Uplus, Microsoft, Perplexity, Stripe and Tencent, to enable agentic commerce transactions. These partnerships reflect Visa’s vision of an interconnected ecosystem where AI agents and the payment ecosystem work together to deliver smart, trusted commerce experiences.

Looking ahead, Visa plans to launch Visa Intelligent Commerce pilots across Asia Pacific as regulatory and ecosystem readiness advances, by early 2026. This demonstrates Visa’s commitment to collaborating across Visa’s network and AI ecosystem players to accelerate the next wave of AI-powered payments and deliver transformative commerce experiences for this new-generation of AI-native consumers.
