2025 OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit, Advancing Co-Creation and ESG Leadership

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia and WUHU, China, Oct. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — On October 21, 2025, a global industry event transcending geography and culture—the 2025 OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit—was grandly held in Wuhu. Centered around the theme “Co-Create, Co-Define,” the summit brought together more than 3,000 participants from nearly 100 countries, including overseas users, dealer partners, ESG advisory members, and media representatives, to witness an in-depth dialogue on the future of mobility.

A strategic highlight of the summit was the launch of the Global ESG Advisory Alliance of OMODA & JAECOO’s parent company, marking a systematic upgrade in the company’s sustainable development efforts. This year, the alliance expanded its lineup, adding influential organizations such as IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), United Nations University, and the Asian Paralympic Committee, with members now spanning media, public welfare organizations, and financial and insurance institutions.

Notably, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon attended in person, joining the alliance as an ESG advisor. His participation not only enhanced the alliance’s international credibility but also reflected global recognition of the company’s sustainable development path. The upgraded alliance represents a shift from internal ESG strategy to open, collaborative global action, promoting low-carbon technology R&D, public welfare projects, and industry standard-setting, driving sustainable mobility from advocacy to scalable practice.

In ESG strategy, OMODA & JAECOO’s parent company has built a framework supported by three pillars: “Low-Carbon Transition and Nature Benefits,” “Value Chain Collaborative Cooperation,” and “Self-Discipline and Compliance Development,” with tangible achievements. Technologically, innovations such as the Mars Architecture Hybrid Platform and solid-state batteries aid low-carbon transition; environmentally, it became the first Chinese automaker to receive mutual recognition under the China-Europe Life Cycle Assessment (LCA); socially, it partnered with UNICEF to “Empower Every Child’s Learning Journey” and collaborates with IUCN on nature conservation projects, demonstrating commitment from promise to action.

The 2025 OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit successfully convened with the theme “CO-CREATE • CO-DEFINE”, focusing on the future vision “ENTER SUPER NEXT”, bringing global users together to explore new possibilities in intelligent mobility. Upholding the brand vision of “Co-Creating a Better Life with Young People,” OMODA focuses on becoming the world’s leading professional Crossover brand, while JAECOO, guided by the philosophy “Rooted in Classics, Beyond Classics,” aims to be the world’s premier refined off-road brand, with both brands collaboratively building differentiated competitive strength.

Notably, the Mo Jia Robot (AiMOGA), co-developed with the AiMOGA team, made its debut at the summit, exemplifying intelligent co-creation in the automotive industry and further expanding the brand’s innovation boundary in smart technology.

In Malaysia, OMODA & JAECOO currently offers models including J7, J7 PHEV, J8, and C9, and will continue to introduce more new models that meet local market demand. Under the same group, OMODA & JAECOO has 3 sister brands in Malaysia – Chery, iCAUR and Lepas.

Centre: The Honourable Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, launched the Global Skills Forum (GSF) 2025.

Held in conjunction with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship and the ASEAN Year of Skills (AYOS) 2025, the Forum convened governments, industries and communities worldwide to advance skills transformation, highlighting the private sector’s role as a catalyst for innovation, inclusion and impact.

Spearheaded by the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia (KESUMA) through the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp), with the support from the ASEAN Secretariat, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Organisation of Employers (IOE), GSF 2025 stood as a premier global platform for dialogue, collaboration and action on the future of skills.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, who emphasised ASEAN’s unique potential and the role of skills in shaping its future.

“With the right skills, this youth dividend can be transformed into a source of innovation and prosperity, not just for Southeast Asia, but for the global economy,” said Zahid.

Gilbert F. Houngbo, Director-General of the ILO, in his speech praised Minister Steven Sim’s leadership in advancing AYOS 2025, noting him as a central voice for labour and skills in the region.

“I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Ministry of Human Resources under the leadership of Minister Steven Sim whom I regard as one of the region’s most dynamic and visionary labour ministers. His leadership in championing the ASEAN Year of Skills 2025 truly reflects Malaysia’s commitment to empowering our region’s workforce for the future,” said Gilbert.

“I must recognise the outstanding work that the Government of Malaysia has carried out as ASEAN Chair for the ASEAN Year of Skills 2025. The ILO stands ready to support Malaysia and ASEAN as you strive to realise your vision of a region whose workforce is ready to meet the challenges of the future,” he added.

Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Human Resources Malaysia, in his speech, emphasised that workers must remain at the heart of economic progress.

“Workers are creators of value in our economy. The gains for workers over the last 100 years must not only be safeguarded, we must continue to progress, especially in view of new dynamics,” said Steven Sim.

He also highlighted the importance of GSF as part of a broader regional movement.

“The Global Skills Forum is not a standalone event, it is a key pillar of the ASEAN Year of Skills 2025, bringing together governments, employers, workers and learning communities across the region,” he added.

Themed “The Transformative Role of Private Sector in Skills Development: Driving Innovation and Impact”, GSF 2025 examined key challenges in workforce development and shared good practices to address them. The forum, attended by close to 600 delegates, explored how governments, employers and training institutions can co-create agile, human-centred strategies that respond to rapid technological change, evolving labour markets and global disruptions. It reinforced skills as the currency of opportunity, competitiveness and sustainability for both business and society.

A defining moment of the event was the pledge of Malaysia’s commitment to skills development for the future workforce of ASEAN nations and the global community to strengthen collaboration, nurture future-ready skills and empower communities towards a resilient, sustainable and competitive Malaysia within ASEAN.

AYOS 2025 moves towards its conclusion with the Gala Dinner “Colours of Success: A Celebration of Achievements” this evening, celebrating the achievements of its seven flagship platforms.

ViewQwest partners with Zero Networks to deliver automated microsegmentation to enterprises across key Asian markets

  • Microsegmentation isolates parts of a network so a breach in one area can’t spread, helping businesses contain attacks and protect critical systems.
  • Zero Networks automates microsegmentation, enabling enterprises to achieve full segmentation in as little as 3 steps and 30 days.
  • Expands ViewQwest’s regional cybersecurity suite to strengthen enterprise security and deliver Zero Trust resilience with multi-layered defence across Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong SAR.

SINGAPORE, Oct. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — ViewQwest, a leading regional network and security solutions provider, yesterday announced at GovWare 2025 a strategic partnership with Zero Networks, the cybersecurity innovator behind fully automated, agentless microsegmentation, to empower enterprises across SEA with stronger protection against lateral cyberattacks and ransomware spread.

Traditional microsegmentation was designed to stop attackers from moving laterally within networks—but legacy solutions rely on manual rule-setting, agents, and complex deployments that often take years to implement and frequently break networks. As cyber threats grow in scale and sophistication, this complexity leaves organisations exposed to lateral movement, where attackers infiltrate one system and spread rapidly to critical assets. According to Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), capabilities such as automated asset discovery and tagging, automated policy creation and management, and MFA integration are key for overcoming legacy microsegmentation limitations.

With this partnership, ViewQwest delivers Zero Networks’ microsegmentation platform through its managed service expertise—combining powerful automation with deep knowledge of network topology and operations. The Zero Networks platform integrates seamlessly into enterprise environments, from design and policy mapping to ongoing optimisation and audit readiness.

  • Agentless protection by leveraging native host firewalls with no additional software or overlays required.
  • Rapid deployment, achieving full microsegmentation in as little as 3 steps and 30 days, compared to years for legacy solutions.
  • Patented MFA-at-the-port technology, the first and only approach that enforces just-in-time multi-factor authentication for admin ports such as RDP, SSH, and WinRM.
  • Universal coverage across IT, OT, IoT, cloud, legacy apps, and databases.

This managed approach gives enterprises a simpler, faster path to achieving Zero Trust resilience—removing the complexity, cost, and disruption typical of legacy microsegmentation projects.

“Enterprises across the region are under constant cyber pressure, and many continue to struggle with the complexity and cost of traditional segmentation,” said Vignesa Moorthy, CEO of ViewQwest. “By partnering with Zero Networks, we’re making enterprise-grade, automated microsegmentation accessible—delivered simply, quickly, and effectively.”

Adam Hofeler, Zero Networks Vice President of Sales and GTM, added: “Zero Networks is thrilled to collaborate with ViewQwest and to bring this partnership to fruition. I personally worked with their team previously, and know firsthand they have a best-in-class security practice. With our combined growth in the market, I expect our customers and prospects will benefit greatly from this joint engagement. ViewQwest will be a key partner for us across SEA.”

Secure & Resilient By Design

As a trusted regional leader in secure connectivity, ViewQwest continues to strengthen its cybersecurity suite to help enterprises achieve Zero Trust resilience—where every connection is verified, every access controlled, and every threat contained. At GovWare 2025, Singapore’s flagship cybersecurity event, ViewQwest showcased its latest suite of cybersecurity solutions.

  • Connect securely with SecureNet Private SASE, delivering visibility and protection across distributed networks.
  • Communicate safely with SecureMail Gateway, shielding users from phishing and email-borne threats.
  • Contain attacks effectively with Zero Networks Microsegmentation, enforcing Zero Trust at the network layer and stopping lateral movement before it spreads.

Together, these capabilities form the foundation of a Secure and Resilient by Design architecture—demonstrating ViewQwest’s commitment to delivering enterprise-grade protection that evolves with today’s digital demands.

By combining stability, flexibility, and cooling innovation, OmniLock™ sets a new benchmark for premium in-car wireless charging—ideal for commuters, travelers, and tech-savvy professionals alike.

Reimagining Snap-to-Carry Productivity with MagMouse™

Recognized in TIME’s Special Mention category, the ESR MagMouse™ is the world’s first snap-to-carry wireless mouse, designed to solve a common frustration: carrying a mouse securely while on the go—especially for professionals constantly moving between meetings. Thanks to its strong magnetic base with pop-up pins, the MagMouse™ firmly attaches to laptops, providing hands-free portability and eliminating the risk of dropping or juggling it among other essentials.

The MagMouse™ also features a built-in fast-charging cable neatly tucked into the body for charging on the go. Just one minute of charging provides up to four hours of use, while a full charge lasts up to 80 days, ensuring reliable performance for mobile professionals, students, and travelers. Combined with six levels of DPI adjustment and a four-way scroll wheel, it delivers compact portability, precision, and power in a single device.

Since debuting at CES 2025, where it won Best of CES and honored with a Future Innovation Award, MagMouse™ has earned multiple design patents and widespread industry recognition. Its intelligent magnetic design and everyday innovation have redefined portable productivity, setting a new benchmark for mobile workspace accessories.

A Legacy of User-Driven Innovation

Alps Blockchain Announces Corporate Rebranding to Alps

Reflecting its evolution into a global builder of next-generation data center infrastructure powering Bitcoin and, in the future, AI computation

TRENTO, Italy, Oct. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Alps Blockchain, a European leader in digital infrastructure and Bitcoin mining, today announced its forthcoming corporate rebranding to Alps, marking a new chapter in its growth as a fully integrated infrastructure company.

The rebranding underscores Alps’ transformation from a pioneering Bitcoin mining operator into a vertically integrated builder and manager of advanced data centers, capable of converting energy into digital computation – from Bitcoin mining with ASIC systems to, in the future, high-performance computing (HPC) for artificial intelligence.

“This rebrand reflects what Alps has become,” said Francesco Buffa, CEO and Co-Founder of Alps. “We are no longer only a blockchain company – we are an infrastructure company. We design, build, and operate high-efficiency data centers from the ground up, turning energy into the computational power that fuels the digital economy.“

“From a financial perspective, producing computational power for the Bitcoin network has always provided – and continues to provide – a constant and unprecedented cash flow in the digital infrastructure industry,” added Francesca Failoni, CFO and Co-Founder of Alps. “This solid foundation allows us to plan with a long-term view and to strategically integrate new applications such as AI computing within our existing infrastructure.“

Since its founding in 2018, Alps has developed and managed modular, energy-efficient data centers in Italy, Paraguay, Ecuador, Oman, and the United States, with infrastructure and energy contracts already in place to reach 15 EH/s of computing power in the near future, equivalent to roughly 1.5% of the global Bitcoin hash rate.

Alps controls and operates over 250 MW of installed or ready-to-deploy capacity, boasting an industry-leading energy efficiency of 15.4 J/TH, among the best worldwide. The company continues to pursue an ambitious expansion plan toward 2029.

The transition to Alps better represents this expanded mission and positions the company as a key player in the emerging intersection between energy and digital infrastructure. Alps integrates the full value chain – from site development and electrical engineering to containerized data center fabrication and on-site operations – enabling scalable and sustainable deployment worldwide.

The company’s legal structure, shareholder composition, and ongoing projects remain unchanged.

About Alps

Alps is a digital infrastructure company that designs, builds, and manages modular, energy-efficient data centers that transform energy into computation. Through its global network of sites, Alps produces computing power for Bitcoin mining and is preparing to expand into high-performance computing applications. Founded in Trento in 2018, Alps operates across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
