The Governor of Samakkixay district in Attapeu province has issued a notice mandating residents to keep their pets and livestock under control or face confiscation.
The notice issued by the Governor of Samakkixay district Mr. Phetmixay Khamphakdy mandates that residents must keep their cows, goats, and buffaloes from loitering around town to ensure cleanliness and order.
Families with pets requiring cages or any other form of confinement must ensure their animals remain in designated areas to prevent harm to the public.
The government will seize livestock within 15 days from a family if they do not have a designated location to keep them, do not use cages, abuse the animals, or allow them to cause harm to anybody or destroy public property.
If any family is found violating the regulations, the relevant district authorities will file charges against them, counsel them, and seize their animals.
