A seminar on insurance and risk management in the energy and mining sector took place on 24 April in Vientiane, bringing together officials, industry experts, and insurers from Laos and Vietnam.

Organized by Champa Insurance, the event focused on rising risks such as volatile energy prices, geopolitical tensions, climate change, and cybersecurity threats.

Discussions focused on major risks affecting the sector today, including changing energy prices, geopolitical uncertainty, climate change, and cybersecurity threats linked to new digital systems.
