AGIBOT Makes Its U.S. Market Debut at CES 2026 with Its Full Humanoid Robot Portfolio

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AGIBOT, a leading robotics company specializing in embodied intelligence, today marks its official entry into the U.S. market at CES 2026, showcasing one of the industry’s most comprehensive humanoid robot portfolios, backed by the shipment of 5,000 robots to date. At a time when most of the humanoid robotics industry is still in prototype or pilot phases, AGIBOT’s showcase at CES highlights its accomplished transition: from advanced R&D to a full portfolio of mass-produced humanoids already deployed at scale in real-world operations.

At the heart of AGIBOT’s technology is its innovative “One Robotic Body, Three Intelligences” architecture, which deeply integrates interaction, manipulation, and locomotion capabilities into a unified humanoid platform, creating a distinct competitive edge over traditional robotics. These robots excel in rapid adaptation to diverse scenarios, delivering swift responses to market demands and driving significant productivity improvements through enhanced efficiency and automation. Committed to open collaboration, AGIBOT invites global technology partners, developers, and ecosystem players to join in advancing embodied AI and building a mutually beneficial robotics future.

“Bringing our full robotics portfolio to CES marks a defining moment for AGIBOT,” said Dr. Yao Maoqing, Partner at AGIBOT, Senior Vice President, and President of the Embodied Business Unit, “it demonstrates how we are able to build an ecosystem of humanoid robots, not for a single task or setting, but for a future where embodied intelligence can serve people across industries, environments, and everyday life.”

Introducing AGIBOT and Its Full Humanoid Robotics Portfolio

AGIBOT was founded in 2023 with a clear ambition reflected in its name: building robots for the AGI era. Rather than creating single-purpose machines, AGIBOT is focused on developing embodied intelligent robots that can learn, adapt, and evolve in the real world.

At CES 2026, AGIBOT presents its full lineup of embodied robots for real-world deployment. The portfolio includes the AGIBOT A2 Series, full-sized humanoids enabling multimodal interaction and autonomous navigation for guided presentations and showroom spaces; the AGIBOT X2 Series, half-sized compact humanoids that can interact naturally with people, walk in a humanlike way, and perform complex, expressive movements, designed for entertainment, research and education; and the AGIBOT G2 Series, industrial-grade embodied robots combining interactive intelligence with precise force-controlled manipulation for rapid deployment in industrial environments. The lineup is further complemented by the AGIBOT D1 Series quadruped robots for inspection and operations in complex environments, as well as OmniHand, AGIBOT’s dexterous manipulation system for embodied robotic platforms.

What unifies AGIBOT’s diverse humanoid lineup is its “one robotic body, three intelligences” framework. Each robot is designed around the balanced integration of motion intelligence, interaction intelligence, and task intelligence, enabling natural movement, meaningful communication, and reliable execution of real-world tasks. This system-level approach allows AGIBOT robots to move beyond isolated demonstrations and toward sustained, scalable deployment across real commercial and societal settings.

Powered by AGIBOT: From Scale to Customization at Platform Level

AGIBOT recently achieved a landmark milestone by rolling out its 5,000th mass-produced humanoid robot, marking a decisive shift from advanced R&D to scaled, real-world deployment. This accomplishment underscores the company’s proven ability to deliver consistent, repeatable manufacturing and reliable delivery at industrial scale.

Today, AGIBOT stands among the global elite in humanoid robotics, offering a comprehensive and diversified product portfolio while achieving true manufacturing scale with thousands of units deployed. These robots are already operational across eight core commercial applications – including reception and hospitality, entertainment and commercial performances, industrial intelligent manufacturing, logistics sorting, security inspection and patrol, data collection and training, scientific research and education – demonstrating exceptional technological maturity, reliability, consistency, and operational readiness for large-scale industry adoption.

Building on its scale and real-world deployment experience, AGIBOT offers Powered by AGIBOT as a way to support partners and customers in customizing humanoid robotic systems. It enables flexible configuration of robotic hardware and software, supports customization of humanoid appearance and external design, and supports custom development of algorithms and models. With a standardized, production-ready foundation provided by AGIBOT, partners can focus on local integration and application development, significantly lowering the technical barrier to customization and large-scale deployment.

Samsung Highlights How Open Ecosystems Unlock the Real Promise of Home AI at CES 2026

Samsung begins its CES 2026 Tech Forums by convening leaders in smart home interoperability for an industry-defining discussion

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today convened leaders across industries in to discuss the importance of smart home interoperability in the first of its Tech Forum panels at CES 2026 at The Wynn in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the session, titled “When Everything Clicks: How Open Ecosystems Deliver Impactful AI,” experts discussed how cross-industry partnerships are transforming connected homes into intelligent environments that feel seamless, safe and genuinely supportive of people’s lives.

Samsung Highlights How Open Ecosystems Unlock the Real Promise of Home AI at CES 2026

Openness as the Foundation of Home AI

The panelists agreed that the next era of home intelligence must be built on open collaboration, not closed ecosystems. As homes increasingly rely on devices and services from many brands and industries, openness enables AI systems to work together in ways that create real-world impact. Samsung shared its belief that open connectivity allows appliances, energy systems, safety services and partners across industries to deliver experiences that would be impossible in siloed environments.

“Home is the most personal place in our lives, so home AI must earn trust — quietly, respectfully, and with value users can feel,” said Yoonho Choi, President & Chair of the Board of the Home Connectivity Alliance and Head of Strategic Alliances at Samsung Electronics. “That requires interoperability across brands, so the home works as one system instead of disconnected features. Through cooperation with HCA and across industries, we’re turning openness into outcomes: safer homes, simpler routines and measurable savings — built on consent and transparency.”

Powering the World’s Largest Connected Home Ecosystem

Samsung highlighted the scale and depth of its connected ecosystem, noting that more than 500 million users are already part of the SmartThings community. With over a decade of leadership in connected living, Samsung brings deep insight into how AI companionship in the home is evolving, from today’s smart devices to tomorrow’s system-wide intelligence.

This foundation allows Samsung to design AI experiences that coordinate across appliances and services, delivering value that feels natural rather than technical.

“It’s crucial to deliver tangible user benefits that make people’s lives better,” said Michael Wolf, founder and editor-in-chief of The Spoon. “Along these lines, there’s no area that will bring more benefit than a broadly connected kitchen — one that that allows users to understand what’s in their refrigerator while connecting to the water and heating networks, allowing for a more holistic understanding that takes preventative action.”

Turning Collaboration Into Measurable Consumer Benefits

The panel also examined how open ecosystems enable measurable benefits for consumers through cross-industry partnerships. Samsung highlighted its collaboration with Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB) as a first-of-its-kind example of how smart home data — used responsibly and transparently — can deliver meaningful outcomes.

“We’re at a point where the connected home can bring seamless integration into user lifestyles, which begins to develop trust in smart home equipment that results in direct benefits to consumers,” said Jed Usich, Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth Solutions at HSB. “Through our partnership with Samsung, we’ve created a bridge to the insurance industry that takes simple datapoints and turns them into tangible savings for consumers.”

Designing AI That Feels Human, Not Intrusive

Throughout the discussion, the panelists emphasized that for home AI to succeed, it must feel emotionally intelligent and fit naturally into routines including cooking, relaxing, entertaining and caring for families. Design, storytelling and behavioral understanding all play a role in making connected devices feel like calm, reliable companions.

Together, the panelists agreed that the future of home AI depends on interoperability, responsible data use and collaboration across industries, ensuring intelligent homes deliver real value without compromising trust.

As AI becomes more ambient and system-wide, Samsung remains focused on building open ecosystems that make connected living simpler, safer and more meaningful, proving that when everything clicks, home AI can truly improve everyday life.

Laos Urges Restraint, Dialogue as Tensions Rise Over Venezuela

Laos has voiced concern over the escalating situation in Venezuela, calling on all parties to respect international law and resolve differences through dialogue rather than force.

In a statement released by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Laos said it was closely following developments between Venezuela and the United States, urging strict adherence to international regulations, particularly principles on sovereignty and non-use of force.

“The Lao PDR expresses its deep concern over the information on the current situation in Venezuela. The Lao PDR calls on all parties concerned to strictly adhere to international law and the Charter of the United Nations, including the principle of respect for national sovereignty and refraining from the use or threat of force in international relations. The Lao PDR encourages all parties to exercise restraint and resolve disputes through dialogue in accordance with international law in order to contribute to building peace, security, stability and cooperation in the region and the world,” the ministry said.

The statement follows international media reports of US military actions in Venezuela, including air strikes around Caracas and claims surrounding the capture of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife.

Regional Responses Echo Call for Calm

Laos’ position mirrors reactions from several Southeast Asian governments, many of which have expressed concern over the potential escalation of violence.

Malaysia said the reported US actions violated international law and warned that removing a sitting head of government by force could set a dangerous precedent. The government also called for President Maduro’s immediate release and rejected foreign intervention in sovereign states.

Thailand said it is closely monitoring developments and urged all parties to resolve the situation peacefully in line with the UN Charter. Bangkok added that it remains in contact with Thai nationals in Venezuela.

The Philippines likewise called for restraint and a peaceful solution, while issuing safety advisories for Filipinos in the country. Vietnam and Indonesia echoed similar concerns, stressing respect for national sovereignty and international law.

Singapore said it was “gravely concerned” and reaffirmed its long-standing opposition to foreign military intervention, especially actions that could affect smaller states.

Across the region, governments said they have activated diplomatic and consular channels to monitor developments and ensure the safety of their citizens, while collectively urging de-escalation.

FastLane Wins Total Xero Award 2025 as It Leads Accounting Into the AI Era

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 6 January 2026 – FastLane Group is honoured to receive the Total Xero Award 2025, marking its third recognition from Xero following their Asia Advisory Partner of the Year 2024.

This award is less about the trophy itself and more about what it represents — years of steady progress, consistent teamwork, and a shared commitment to improving the way we support businesses. It reflects the long-term effort of our team and partners who continue to learn, adapt, and refine how we use the Xero ecosystem to bring real value to clients.

“We are truly grateful for this recognition,” says Alex So, Founder of FastLane Group. “Each award reminds us that we’re on the right path, but it also keeps us grounded. Our progress comes from continuous effort, small improvements made every day, and the trust our clients place in us. Technology should empower people — not replace them — and we will keep working quietly and consistently to help businesses grow with clarity and confidence.”

From Cloud to Intelligence
FastLane’s journey with Xero began with cloud accounting — transforming how businesses manage compliance and financial data. Today, the partnership has evolved into something more ambitious: using AI to make accounting faster, smarter, and more human.

Xero’s latest AI companion, JAX (Just Ask Xero), automates tasks such as reconciliation, invoicing, and financial insights through simple conversational commands. For Alex, JAX represents the next leap in professional practice.

“Cloud technology gave us speed,” he explains. “AI gives us insight. When our accountants can ask a system a question and get an intelligent answer instantly, they can spend their time advising clients, not crunching numbers.”

Trust, Transparency, and the Human Touch
As AI becomes more embedded in accounting, FastLane emphasizes responsibility and human oversight. The firm aligns with Xero’s commitment to transparent and ethical AI — ensuring that every automated decision still begins and ends with human judgment.

“AI doesn’t take away our role; it amplifies it,” Alex says. “Technology can process data, but it can’t replace human intuition, empathy, or trust. That’s what clients truly value — and that’s what we protect.”

A Vision for the Future
FastLane’s influence now extends across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia, where it helps entrepreneurs and growing companies build smarter, more scalable financial systems. Beyond compliance, the firm focuses on advisory, automation, and strategy — redefining how accountants support business growth in an AI-driven world.

“The future accountant isn’t just a number-keeper,” Alex concludes. “They’re a strategic partner, powered by technology and guided by purpose. AI gives us back the time to think, lead, and create real impact.”
