MWC Barcelona 2025 Fibocom & MediaTek Demo FG370 Module with Modem AI, 3Tx & L4S

BARCELONA, Spain, March 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Fibocom (Stock code:300638), a global leading provider of AIoT solutions and wireless communication modules, demonstrated its MTK T830-based 5G Module FG370 with MediaTek, featuring Modem AI, 3Tx (Three-Antenna Transmission), and L4S (Low Latency, Low Loss, and Scalable Throughput) Technology. This milestone addresses the critical needs of leading global operators for advanced 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions/Mobile HotSpot(MHS), emphasizing enhanced network prediction accuracy, intelligent network selection, and optimized air interface performance.

The FG370, powered by MediaTek Modem AI (MMAI), remarkably enhances network connectivity in challenging environments such as high-speed rail, underground areas, airports, and remote suburban locations for MHS applications. At airports, AI-driven network prediction boosts network search speed by over 50%. In outdoor mobile scenarios, MMAI’s AI Hiking Mode optimizes weak signal and high power consumption issues, resulting in a 10% energy saving. On high-speed trains, the MMAI-enabled FG370 ensures faster and more stable connections, while in underground environments, it helps terminals quickly regain 5G connectivity.

Traditional 5G terminals typically support two transmission chains, which limit uplink throughput. In 5G FWA and MHS applications, the FG370 utilizes 3Tx technology, enabling terminals to support three transmission chains and significantly enhance uplink throughput. According to Fibocom’s lab tests, compared to 2Tx, 3Tx can increase throughput up to 68% by adding spatial streams. L4S technology provides terminals with a low-latency, low-loss, and scalable throughput network experience. Tests show that the combination of 3Tx and L4S delivers 1.9 times the bandwidth of 2Tx while reducing latency.

Additionally, the FG370 in 5G FWA and MHS applications supports 8Rx and 3GPP Rel-17 standards, including HUPE TDD PC2/PC1.5 and FDD PC2 communication capabilities. Which enhances signal quality at the cell edge, thereby improving throughput.

“As the AI wave continues to reshape industries, we are working together with Fibocom to drive the acceleration of AI in the 5G FWA and MHS sectors, introducing new features and applications,” said Evan Su, General Manager of Wireless Communications. “Through this collaboration, we can offer competitive solutions, empowering global operators to deliver high-performance, intelligent 5G connectivity with optimized network selection for end-users.”

“Fibocom and MediaTek’s strong partnership has enabled us to deliver smarter, more efficient, and stable connectivity solutions for the 5G FWA market.” Added by Simon Tao, VP of MBB Product Management Dept., Head of MBB BU at Fibocom. “We are committed to further advancing AI and supporting key 5G technologies to drive innovation in the broader deployment of 5G AI FWA solutions as well as MHS space.”

The integration of MediaTek’s Modem AI and advanced 5G technologies positions Fibocom’s FG370 as a pivotal solution in the development of high-performance FWA and MHS offerings. Through strategic partnerships with key players in the FWA ecosystem, Fibocom is strategically positioned to lead the evolution of smart, connected networks worldwide.

Octa broker announces a new powerful AI tool within its OctaTrader platform

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Media OutReach Newswire – 5 March 2025 – Global broker Octa recently released a new AI feature to its proprietary trading platform, OctaTrader. Embedded into the platform interface, the new tool is called ‘AI pattern search’ and serves to make trading analytics more precise and time-efficient. The experts at Octa explain the main use cases and scope of this new powerful tool.

Octa

The issue with chart patterns
Every seasoned trader understands the value of technical analysis. Chart pattern recognition is one of the key areas of knowledge that allow traders to navigate the ever-changing financial markets with confidence.

Mastering chart analysis requires learning to spot various patterns and predict where the market is headed. It is essential to determine if the pattern signals bullish or bearish momentum and whether it may lead to a reversal or continuation of the current trend.

Of course, learning every single pattern by heart takes a lot of time. What’s more, quickly and efficiently recognizing patterns directly from the chart can place a significant cognitive burden on traders, regardless of experience. This is especially true about those engaging in fast-paced trading styles since it leads to facing multiple important decisions throughout every minute of trading sessions.

However tiresome and energy-consuming it may be to spot every single pattern every single time, this aspect of trading should not be ignored but rather approached with greater efficiency.

OctaTrader: bringing AI analytics to the table
To improve pattern-based chart analytics and drive consistency in trading, OctaTrader, Octa broker’s proprietary trading platform, released a new tool called ‘AI pattern recognition’. It allows traders to expand the trading experience by tapping into the power of AI.

As its name suggests, the new tool scans a vast database of historical data to find the most relevant technical analysis patterns for a chosen instrument and time frame. To do that, it first automatically analyses current price dynamics and then uses machine learning algorithms to spot actionable trends.

As a result, OctaTrader users effortlessly gain access to an actionable analytical pattern for the asset of choice. In a couple of clicks, the pattern can be copied to the trading chart to apply the analytical insights to trades. AI Pattern Recognition currently covers all the tradable assets available on the OctaTrader platform and is easily customisable to fit the client’s trading style.

Power in unity
The new AI Pattern Recognition feature is embedded in the Octa app so that users can save time switching between different web resources and platforms when searching for relevant patterns.

Octa

The tool can be used in synergy with another OctaTrader’s signature feature, the analytics hub Space. The Space feed embedded in the Octa app provides expert-curated insights and educational articles that help traders assess market fluctuations and gain relevant financial knowledge. As such, Space offers human expertise, while AI Pattern Recognition brings deep machine knowledge to the table. The synergy of these two tools allows traders to spot relevant patterns—and then validate decisions by deep diving into the financial theory, if necessary.

According to the Octa broker, the AI Pattern Search tool will be further improved with new machine learning models for handling support and resistance levels and candlestick patterns. These incoming updates will extend the tool’s scope and add more flexibility to OctaTrader clients’ routines.

Octa

Following the latest trend of deeper penetration of AI in FinTech, OctaTrader now combines advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities with extensive expert intelligence. Using the new AI Pattern Recognition tool, OctaTrader clients can significantly ease the cognitive load of analysing the charts, making sessions more efficient and decision-making more informed.

PRAGUE, March 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — EMFACE, the revolutionary non-invasive facial treatment, has reached an extraordinary milestone—becoming the fastest procedure of its kind to surpass 1 million treatments worldwide in just under two years. Developed by BTL, a global leader in medical technology, EMFACE transformed the industry in 2022 as the first operator-independent procedure to non-invasively target facial muscles while simultaneously improving skin quality.

“The ability to stimulate elevator muscles allows us to lift facial features from within—something that was never possible before with injectables or traditional energy-based devices,” said Dr. Yael Halaas, a facial plastic surgeon from NYC, USA.

With no needles, downtime, or discomfort, EMFACE has gained widespread recognition among both medical professionals and patients, driving its rapid adoption across the globe.

Innovation at the Forefront of Success

Over the past year, EMFACE has expanded its capabilities with the introduction of specialized submental and under-eye applicators, making the treatment even more versatile. The latest eye applicators received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attending medical experts upon their launch at the IMCAS World Conference in Paris in January 2025.

“EMFACE isn’t just a procedure—it’s a facial multiplatform that allows us to treat different areas based on each patient’s unique needs. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking for natural-looking facial rejuvenation,” added Dr. Kyungkook Hong, a board-certified dermatologist from Seoul, Korea.

Global Expansion and Industry Impact

EMFACE continues to gain momentum, with more practitioners integrating it into their treatment offerings. Its ability to complement injectables makes it a key component of comprehensive facial rejuvenation plans, providing patients with non-invasive solution for enhanced results.

“Reaching 1 million treatments in just two years is a testament to EMFACE’s groundbreaking technology and the value it brings to medical professionals,” said Tomas Schwarz, CEO of BTL. “We remain committed to expanding this platform and further advancing non-invasive facial treatments in the years ahead.”
