ACE Dismantles Major Illicit Anime Application “AnimePlay” in Indonesia

Milestone Action Was First Successful APK-Focused Shutdown in Region

LOS ANGELES, March 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), the world’s leading anti‑piracy coalition, has successfully shut down AnimePlay, one of the largest illicit anime streaming applications operating in the Asia-Pacific region. The application was run out of Riau, Indonesia.

AnimePlay had amassed more than 5 million registered users, primarily in Indonesia, and was hosting over 60 terabytes of infringing content. The operator admitted to being both the developer and sole administrator of the piracy service since its launch in 2020. He surrendered the complete backend ecosystem powering the operation to ACE, including 29 GitHub repositories containing full source code, backend servers, associated databases, and integrated advertising tools.

“By securing both the AnimePlay application and the infrastructure that supported it, this action removed a sophisticated piracy network that siphoned value from creators and legitimate businesses across the region,” said Larissa Knapp, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Protection Officer for the Motion Picture Association (MPA). “We will continue working with our partners across the Asia‑Pacific region and globally to dismantle criminal operations like this and safeguard the integrity of the creative economy.”

ACE secured control of not just the application, but also its underlying infrastructure, including 15 associated domains, source code, hosting environment, and related digital assets, all of which have now been taken offline.  In so doing, ACE has effectively dismantled the operation and restricted the operator’s ability to rebuild or relaunch the service.

A “Love for Sports” Fosters Non-Cognitive Skills: Latest Statistical Analysis Reveals Correlation Between Affinity for Sports and Non-Cognitive Skills

Milabo Data Analysis Highlights Scalable Insights Supporting Leifras’ Education Philosophy

TOKYO, March 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — LEIFRAS Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: LFS) (the “Company” or “Leifras”), a sports and social business company dedicated to youth sports and community engagement, announced today that it has released the results of a survey and analysis conducted using its proprietary non-cognitive skill measurement system “Milabo.” The results demonstrate a link between affinity for sports and non-cognitive skill development, supporting Leifras’ education philosophy of “acknowledge, praise, encourage, and motivate.”

The Company analyzed factors influencing the growth of non-cognitive skills using Milabo data from students at Hachioji City Takane Elementary School and the results of New Physical Fitness Test of 126 children. The results statistically demonstrate that a child’s level of non-cognitive skills and key character strengths is more closely linked to a positive “love for sports” mindset than to actual physical athletic ability. The study reveals that “liking sports (affinity for sports)” is an important factor in improving non-cognitive skills, with a significant correlation coefficient.

In the Milabo measurement system, non-cognitive skills are measured by five factors defined by the Company: Courtesy and Etiquette, Leadership, Cooperativeness, Self-Management, and Problem-Solving.

Survey Results: Correlation Between Affinity for Sports and Non-Cognitive Skills

1. Children Who “Like Sports” Exhibit Higher Non-Cognitive Skills

Correlation analysis between the total score of non-cognitive skills and the item “Do you like playing sports?” produced a correlation coefficient of r = 0.34.

By comparison, the correlation coefficient between the total score of the physical fitness test and non-cognitive skills was r = 0.21, indicating that, compared to athletic performance, a positive attitude toward sports is more strongly linked to non-cognitive skill development.

2. Five Non-Cognitive Skills Fostered by a Positive Attitude Toward Sports

This study showed that a positive attitude toward sports has a positive effect on all five factors of non-cognitive skills defined by the Company (Courtesy and Etiquette, Leadership, Cooperativeness, Self-Management, and Problem-Solving).

3. Strongest Effects on Self-Regulation and Problem-Solving

Among the five factors of non-cognitive skills, correlations were highest in “Self-Management” at r = 0.39 and “Problem-Solving” at r = 0.29. These results suggest that a positive attitude toward sports is closely related to the development of the ability to regulate oneself and the strength to face difficulties.

These results support that a strong motivation for sports activities plays a more important role in sustaining high levels of non-cognitive skills than athletic performance alone.

Relevance to Leifras’ Education Philosophy

The results of this analysis have once again validated how Leifras’ education philosophy contributes to the growth of children.

  • Wide Scope and Applicability: This survey and analysis were conducted in a general school education setting with children who are not members of a specific sports school, supporting the broader applicability of the Company’s methodology.
  • Education Philosophy to Foster a “Love for Sports”: Since its founding, the Company has held the philosophy of ” acknowledge, praise, encourage, and motivate,” and has been developing an education methodology that emphasizes the growth of non-cognitive skills rather than a victory-first mentality.
  • Continuous Implementation of Philosophy: In light of the findings, the Company plans to continue implementing its education philosophy that cultivates intrinsic motivation and passion for sports in each individual student.

About the Non-Cognitive Skill Measurement System “Milabo”

“Milabo” is Leifras’ proprietary assessment tool designed to quantify non-cognitive skills, developed based on the Company’s accumulated know-how and joint research with experts in sports psychology. The system focuses on evaluating non-cognitive skills using five factors: “Courtesy and Etiquette,” “Leadership,” “Cooperativeness,” “Self-Management,” and “Problem-Solving”. Milabo helps the Company to visualize the developmental progress of students’ non-cognitive skills, establish learning goals, and create instructional strategies, enhancing Leifras’ service differentiation.

Future Development Plans

The Company intends to further visualize data through “Milabo” to enhance educational outcomes and strengthen its data-driven service model. Specifically, to build on this survey, which has supported the link between sports affinity and non-cognitive skill development, Leifras plans to conduct longitudinal studies to explore other factors and further clarify causal pathways influencing non-cognitive skill development.

Zimmer Biomet Wins Three Awards at Healthcare Asia Medtech Awards 2026

Awards Recognize Innovations in Infection Measures, AI-Driven Recovery and Surgeon Engagement across Asia Pacific.

SINGAPORE, March 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Zimmer Biomet (NYSE and SIX: ZBH), a global medical technology leader, today announced it received three awards at the Healthcare Asia Medtech Awards 2026, recognizing the company’s innovations across orthopedic product development, digital health and surgeon engagement.

Zimmer Biomet earned honors in the following categories:

  • Orthopedic Product Innovation Award for its new iodine-treated hip implant;
  • Digital Innovation of the Year in Australia for its WalkAI knee replacement recovery tracking platform; and
  • Marketing & Communications Initiative of the Year in Thailand for its You’ll Be Back awareness campaign featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the company’s Chief Movement Officer.

“These awards reflect the strength of Zimmer Biomet’s innovation and the relevance of our solutions across Asia Pacific,” said Sang Yi, Group President, Asia Pacific. “From addressing infection risk with advanced implant technologies, to enabling more proactive, data-driven recoveries and strengthening how we engage surgeons, we are focused on solving the most meaningful health care challenges and improving outcomes for patients across the region.”

Advancing Infection Measures in Orthopedics
Zimmer Biomet received the Orthopedic Product Innovation Award for its implants treated with iodine technology, the iTaperloc Complete and iG7 Hip System. These implants are designed to inhibit bacterial adhesion1,2 and reduce the risk of periprosthetic joint infection, a serious complication affecting approximately 1%–2% of primary procedures.3

Iodine, a biocompatible nutrient, helps prevent biofilm formation without contributing to antibiotic resistance.4,5 The technology has received regulatory recognition globally, including approval from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in September 2025 and Breakthrough Device Designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in October 2025.

Advancing Recovery Through AI
Zimmer Biomet’s WalkAI platform received the Digital Innovation of the Year – Australia award. The application uses artificial intelligence to analyze real-world mobility data and predict a patient’s 90-day gait speed following total knee replacement surgery.

By identifying deviations in recovery between days 15 and 40 post-surgery, a typically “lower-touch” period in care, WalkAI is designed to flag patients who may not be recovering as expected and enable earlier clinical intervention. This added visibility allows surgeons to prioritize patients who may require closer monitoring or adjustments to rehabilitation, helping reduce the risk of complications.

The platform is currently used by more than 180 surgeons across Australia and New Zealand to support over 20,000 knee replacement patients, demonstrating strong clinical adoption and scalability in practice.

Raising Awareness of Movement and Treatment Options
The Marketing & Communications Initiative of the Year – Thailand award recognized the “You’ll Be Back” campaign, which builds on Zimmer Biomet’s partnership with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the company’s Chief Movement Officer.

Launched at the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand Annual Conference, the campaign was adapted specifically for a highly regulated market through close collaboration across corporate communications, marketing, legal and compliance teams. Rather than focusing on product promotion, the initiative centered on the importance of movement and aimed to raise awareness of available treatment options for people living with pain.

The message resonated strongly by shifting conversations beyond products toward recovery, longevity and quality of life. The campaign significantly increased engagement, with booth interactions tripling year over year and strong resonance among surgeons.

The Healthcare Asia Medtech Awards recognize leading companies and innovations across the region, highlighting advancements in medical devices, digital health and patient care solutions.

Exito Media Concepts Announces the 31st Global Edition of the Cyber Security Summit Australia 2026

Scaling Digital Transformation: Innovation with Trust

14 April 2026 | Sofitel, Sydney

SYDNEY, March 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Australia continues to position itself as a global leader in digital innovation, with organisations across industries rapidly embracing cloud computing, digital banking, artificial intelligence, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives. While these advancements are driving economic growth and operational efficiency, they are also expanding the cyber threat landscape—making cybersecurity resilience a critical priority for enterprises and government institutions alike.

Ranked among the world’s leading cyber nations, Australia is currently the fifth most powerful cyber nation globally. This position is supported by a rapidly growing cybersecurity market, valued at USD 7.09 billion in 2024 and projected to reach USD 16.52 billion by 2029. However, the nation’s expanding digital footprint also presents increasing risks, with cybercrime incidents reported approximately every seven minutes—highlighting the urgent need for stronger cyber defence mechanisms and proactive security strategies.

Curated by Exito Media Concepts—a global leader in B2B technology platforms—the Cyber Security Summit Australia brings together cybersecurity leaders, government representatives, and industry experts to foster strategic discussions on strengthening Australia’s cyber resilience. By combining global best practices with regional insights, the summit supports organisations in building robust security frameworks while enabling secure and sustainable digital innovation.

As businesses across Australia accelerate digital adoption, protecting sensitive data, securing critical infrastructure, and ensuring regulatory compliance have become top priorities for both public and private sector organisations. The increasing sophistication of cyber threats—from ransomware attacks and phishing campaigns to advanced persistent threats—is compelling enterprises to rethink their cybersecurity strategies and adopt more proactive, intelligence-driven security models.

The 31st Global Edition of the Cyber Security Summit Australia 2026 will serve as a strategic platform for cybersecurity leaders to exchange insights, share real-world experiences, and explore practical solutions to safeguard digital assets and strengthen Australia’s cyber defence capabilities.

Australia as a Global Cybersecurity Leader and Digital Innovation Hub

As one of the most digitally advanced economies in the Asia-Pacific region, Australia continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital innovation and cybersecurity. Strong growth across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, e-commerce, and government digital services has enabled the country to build a highly connected digital ecosystem that supports both economic development and technological advancement.

However, this rapid expansion has also broadened Australia’s cyber risk landscape. Organisations are increasingly prioritising cybersecurity investments to safeguard sensitive data, maintain customer trust, and ensure operational continuity in an increasingly complex threat environment.

In response to these challenges, the Australian Government introduced the 2023–2030 Australian Cyber Security Strategy—a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing cyber resilience, improving threat intelligence capabilities, and strengthening collaboration between government and industry. Investments in advanced technologies such as cloud security, identity management, threat intelligence platforms, and AI-driven threat detection are becoming essential components of modern cybersecurity strategies.

Recognising these developments, Exito Media Concepts continues to bring its globally recognised Cyber Security Summit series to Australia, providing a powerful platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between local cybersecurity leaders and global technology innovators.

Australia’s BFSI Sector at the Forefront of Digital Innovation

Australia’s BFSI sector continues to play a crucial role in the nation’s economic growth, supported by a highly advanced financial ecosystem and strong regulatory frameworks. As institutions accelerate their digital transformation journeys, the adoption of technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics, and automation is reshaping how financial services are delivered.

The rise of fintech companies and digital-first banking models has intensified competition across the industry, prompting traditional institutions to rethink their operating models and prioritise innovation. Increasing customer expectations for seamless digital experiences, personalised services, and secure transactions are driving significant investment in modern technology infrastructure and agile strategies.

At the same time, organisations must address challenges related to regulatory compliance, data privacy, cybersecurity risks, and the integration of legacy systems with modern platforms. Overcoming these challenges requires strong collaboration between technology leaders, regulators, and industry stakeholders to build resilient, secure, and future-ready financial ecosystems.

Recognising these trends, Exito Media Concepts continues to bring its globally recognised BFSI IT Summit series to Australia, creating a dynamic platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation that will shape the next phase of digital transformation in the sector.

Case Study: Driving Digital Transformation in Australia’s Banking Sector

A leading Australian banking institution recently undertook a comprehensive digital transformation initiative to modernise its legacy systems and enhance customer experience across its digital platforms. With customer expectations continuing to evolve, the organisation identified the need to upgrade its technology infrastructure and adopt more agile operating models.

The institution implemented a cloud-first strategy to improve scalability and operational efficiency, enabling faster deployment of new digital services. By integrating advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence into its operations, the bank gained deeper insights into customer behaviour and delivered more personalised financial solutions.

Automation technologies were introduced to streamline core banking processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve service delivery speed. Simultaneously, the organisation strengthened its cybersecurity framework to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

To support this transformation, the bank invested in workforce upskilling initiatives, enabling employees to adapt to new technologies and digital workflows. This holistic approach allowed the institution to modernise operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and remain competitive in Australia’s rapidly evolving financial landscape.

Unisound Posts Strong First Annual Results Since Listing: Revenue Surges Nearly 30%, H2 Loss Narrows Significantly by Over 90%, Profitability in Sight, Charting a New Course in Native Agentic AI

HONG KONG, March 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Unisound (09678.HK) announced its audited annual results for the year ended December 31, 2025. As the Company’s first annual results announcement since listing, it underscores strong growth momentum and continued improvement in its financial profile.

Revenue Mix Continues to Improve, with Faster Growth in H2

For the full year of 2025, Unisound achieved total revenue of $175 million, representing a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 29%. Revenue in the second half of the year increased by 33% YoY to $117 million.

It is worth noting that the Company’s large language model (LLM) business generated a full-year revenue of $88.43 million, surging by over 10 times YoY. In particular, this business contributed approximately $72.49 million in H2 revenue, five times the level recorded in H1, demonstrating a compelling capacity for large-scale commercial application.

Losses Narrowed Significantly, Making the Path to Profitability Increasingly Clear

Alongside the rapid revenue growth, the Company’s losses improved markedly. In the second half of 2025, the Company’s net loss narrowed by 84% YoY, and its adjusted loss narrowed by 92% YoY, approaching break-even. This reflects the Company’s ongoing improvements in cost control and operational efficiency.

Simultaneously, some of the Company’s operating metrics saw marked improvement. The adjusted expense ratio declined significantly by 10 percentage points YoY, while selling expenses decreased rather than increased and accounted for only 5.4%, highlighting a clear improvement in cost-to-efficiency ratio. In 2025, revenue per employee reached $365,300, up 25% YoY from $292,900 in 2024. Employee productivity continued to lead the industry, clearly underscoring the Company’s core strengths in technology-driven, lean operations.

Dual-Engine Strategy Gains Traction, with AI in Healthcare and AI in Daily Life Advancing in Tandem

In 2025, driven by both technological breakthroughs and policy tailwinds, global demand for AI continued to rise. Unisound adhered to its “Strong Foundation Model + Deep Application” strategy, continued to strengthen its multimodal technology foundation, and drove the continuous elevation of the global influence of its proprietary large model matrix in fields such as healthcare, speech, and OCR.

On the commercialization front, the Company leveraged its AI-native organization to accelerate business execution, and its dual-engine strategy in AI in Healthcare and AI in Daily Life delivered notable results. During the reporting period:

The AI in Daily Life business achieved revenue of $140 million, a YoY increase of 30.8%. Among this, the Transportation segment recorded nearly 40% YoY growth. At present, AI agent applications based on the Shanhai large model have been deployed in more than 10 cities, including Qingdao, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Nanning. In addition, cumulative AI chip shipments exceeded 110 million units, further validating the Company’s scale capabilities in endpoint AI products.

The AI in Healthcare business achieved revenue of $35.38 million, a YoY increase of 22.3%, with average revenue per customer growing by 53.2% YoY. In 2025, over 70% of the hospitals the Company collaborated with were tertiary hospitals, and more than one-third of customers had maintained continuous cooperation for over three years. The medical-record entry and generation products powered by the medical large model delivered a 10-fold YoY increase in full-annual medical record generation at a single campus of a leading Class III hospital. The commercial insurance AI agent platform recorded a 37-fold YoY increase in case processing volume. In deep cooperation with a leading insurance group, the expense control rate was effectively raised to approximately 20%, delivering more than $145 million in incremental cost management compared with traditional review methods, comprehensively empowering insurance institutions to refine their medical risk management operations.

Continued R&D Investment Strengthens the Technology Moat

To consolidate its industry-leading position, the Company continued to invest heavily in R&D in 2025. Full-year R&D expenses exceeded $55.09 million, accounting for 75% of the Company’s adjusted operating expenses, while R&D personnel accounted for 69% of the total workforce. This sustained investment drove breakthroughs across multiple technology areas. For example, in the MedBench 4.0 evaluation, the Company ranked first place in three technical paradigms: “Medical AI Agent,” “Medical Large Language Model,” and “Medical Multimodal Large Model,” earning a “Triple Crown.”

Outlook: Deepening the Technological Foundation and Expanding Application Boundaries

Looking ahead, Unisound will continue to deepen its “Strong Foundation Model + Deep Application” strategy. On the technological front, the Company will continue to increase strategic investment in foundational large models and strive to maintain a world-class level. On the application front, it will use the large-scale expansion of MaaS (Model-as-a-Service) and AI agents as its core growth engine, driving exponential growth in its AI in Daily Life and AI in Healthcare businesses. Meanwhile, the Company is actively exploring the establishment of a recurring revenue system through models such as API calls and Token-based billing, and regards opportunities in consumer-facing (C-end) products as a second growth curve to further expand its commercialization boundaries.

Between Q2 and Q3 2026, Unisound will launch a native AI agent large model for programming and office applications, which is expected to double both intelligence density and token production efficiency.
