Vinhomes Ocean City: The Pinnacle of Future Urban Living in Vietnam

Vinhomes Ocean City is a visionary urban ecosystem that redefines modern living. This sprawling Vietnamese development seamlessly blends wellness, community, and world-class amenities, offering a glimpse into the future of urban life.

HANOI, VIETNAM – Media OutReach Newswire – 29 November 2024 – Vietnam, a rising star on the global stage, has steadily cemented its reputation as a dynamic economic hub in Southeast Asia. Situated at the heart of one of the world’s most critical waterways, the country has emerged as an increasingly attractive destination for tourists, investors, and professionals alike. Between January and October 2024, Vietnam welcomed over 14.1 million international visitors—a remarkable 41.3% increase compared to the previous year. This surge underscores the nation’s growing appeal on the global map.

Ocean City anticipates future growth, with plans to accommodate up to 200,000 residents
Ocean City anticipates future growth, with plans to accommodate up to 200,000 residents

And for those considering Vietnam as a new home, Vinhomes Ocean City has become a standout symbol of innovation and modernity. As the nation redefines its urban landscapes, Ocean City stands out by seamlessly blending wellness, community, and world-class amenities into the fabric of modern life.

Cities Within Cities

Ocean City exemplifies a groundbreaking concept: an all-encompassing urban complex that integrates residential, recreational, and business functions within a cohesive ecosystem. Covering an impressive 1,200 hectares, this mega-development showcases Vinhomes’ expertise in crafting unified living environments. Its triad of urban clusters—Vinhomes Ocean Park 1, 2, and 3—operates as distinct yet harmonized districts, delivering diverse experiences under a single visionary framework.

Strategically located just 20–30 minutes from Hanoi’s bustling city center, Ocean City offers an unparalleled balance between urban accessibility and suburban tranquility. Its proximity to the “golden triangle” of Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh provides residents with easy access to both economic opportunities and natural serenity. Together, these regions serve as an ideal backdrop for a community that blends metropolitan convenience with resort-like charm.

At the core of Vinhomes Ocean City lies an unwavering focus on holistic wellness, designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. As global emphasis on health and well-being continues to grow, Ocean City redefines urban living by integrating cutting-edge wellness ecosystems into its foundation.

From state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to meticulously landscaped green spaces, Ocean City caters to the ever-evolving needs of its residents. Its signature feature is the iconic Crystal Lagoon, one of the world’s largest artificial saltwater lagoons, complemented by Pearl Lake, a pristine freshwater lake surrounded by white sand beaches.

Additionally, building density in the complex is maintained below 30%, with over 1.5 million square meters dedicated to parks and green spaces. This design ensures a breathable environment, complemented by amenities such as sports fields, playgrounds, and swimming pools that cater to all age groups.

Ocean City’s wellness philosophy extends beyond its physical infrastructure to foster a vibrant community culture. Residents are encouraged to connect, thrive, and grow through shared experiences. Renowned institutions like VinUni and cultural attractions such as the theater district provide spaces for learning and enrichment, making Ocean City a haven for holistic development.

Global Appeal in Every Detail

Ocean City’s architectural and cultural design reflects a deep appreciation for both global aesthetics and local traditions. Venetian-inspired canals with gondola rides meander through the districts, while the Korean-style K-Town offers residents a vibrant glimpse into Eastern culture.

Yet, Ocean City’s appeal goes far beyond leisure. It is also a business hub, equipped with advanced infrastructure tailored to attract global professionals. Smart office towers, including the TechnoPark Tower, feature cutting-edge technology and sustainability standards. Entrepreneurs and corporations operate in an environment where productivity and lifestyle seamlessly integrate.

Seamless connectivity adds to its appeal. A free electric bus system links the city’s districts with Hanoi, ensuring that residents can easily navigate between urban vibrancy and serene natural beauty. This integration of modern convenience and ecological responsibility makes Ocean City a trailblazer in urban living.

Looking ahead, Ocean City anticipates future growth, with plans to accommodate up to 200,000 residents. This vision reflects Vinhomes’ commitment to fostering communities that thrive not just today but for generations to come.

By combining wellness, culture, and business opportunities, Ocean City establishes itself as a global wellness destination. Its ability to draw tourists, investors, and business professionals positions it as a nucleus of cultural exchange and economic growth, aligning seamlessly with Vietnam’s increasing prominence on the world stage.

A New Benchmark in Urban Living

Vinhomes Ocean City redefines the possibilities of urban development, offering a living experience that transcends national boundaries. Its holistic approach—integrating wellness, innovative infrastructure, and global cultural elements—creates a vibrant, self-sustaining ecosystem.

As Vietnam continues its ascent as an economic hub, Ocean City epitomizes the country’s aspirations: a glimpse into a future where urban living nourishes both individuals and communities.

Porsche Design Tower Bangkok unveils exquisite new kitchen concepts

New ‘Porsche Unseen Design Studies’ event theme launches this holiday season at Curvistan Bangkok

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Media OutReach Newswire – 29 November 2024 – Since opening in August 2024, Curvistan Bangkok has redefined leisure and entertainment for the Porsche community and beyond as a bar, a café, an art gallery and a hangout that celebrates car culture, art and design.

Stefan Bogner (second from left), Founder and creative visionary of Curves Magazine, Chanond Ruangkritya (far right), President and Chief Executive Officer, Ananda Development, Yannick Ott (far left), Marketing Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, and Winthorn Bunnag (third from left), Acting Managing Director of Porsche Thailand by AAS Group, were pictured with Porsche Taycan Turbo S in Celestial Jade at the launch of the "Porsche Unseen Design Studies" at Curvistan Bangkok.

The multihyphenate development is a collaborative effort between Stefan Bogner, creator of the internationally-acclaimed Curves magazine, and Chanond Ruangkritya, a visionary entrepreneur and the man behind the highly-anticipated Porsche Design Tower Bangkok to be constructed a stone’s throw away from Curvistan.

Now, as the year-end holiday season approaches, the two passionate Porsche fans unveil a brand-new, limited-time event and theme at the Curvistan Bangkok: “Porsche Unseen Design Studies”.

For 20 years, Michael Mauer has led Porsche’s design vision as Vice President Style Porsche at the Porsche Design Studio in Weissach. In doing so, he granted many
a glimpse of the courageous, fascinating and surprising concept cars that have been created under his direction over almost two decades. Now, for the first time in Thailand, a collection of these “Unseen” projects are housed under one roof, making for a perfect design-themed excursion for any Porsche or automotive enthusiast.

The highlight attraction of this event is the “Vision Spyder” – a 1:1 scale interpretation of how Mauer and his team imagined a modern, small and sporty roadster might look like. Drawing inspiration from the modest sizing and lightweight ingenuity of cars designed by Porsche engineers in the 1950s, in particular the 550 Spyder that Hans Hermann drove to a win in the 1954 Carrera Panamericana, the “Vision Spyder” features a spartan cockpit, flat radiator grille over the midengine, red racing stripes and modest fins at the rear.

Visitors at Curvistan can also look forward to getting up close with other 1:3 scale model concepts such as the Macan “Vision Safari”, an SUV-turned-overland design experiment; hypercar concepts like the “Vision 918 RS” and “Vision 920”, and even the “Vision E” – a design experiment imagining what a Formula E car might look like, if homologated for customer racing.

“The Porsche Unseen collection was one of the most fulfilling projects I’ve ever done, and to be able to bring this to Curvistan Bangkok is a dream come true,” said Mr. Stefan Bogner, Founder and creative visionary behind Curves Magazine and the publisher of the “Porsche Unseen” book uncovering the many hidden treasures in the Porsche Design secret archives. “We hope design fans, Porsche fans and car enthusiasts in Thailand and beyond make Curvistan a bookmark on their next trip to Bangkok – because this is definitely one exhibition they wouldn’t want to miss!”

The “Porsche Unseen Design Studies” event theme will run from 22 November 2024 until 28 February 2025 at Curvistan Bangkok. Entry is free, and the venue is open Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 18:00.

During the launch of the “Porsche Unseen Design Studies” theme at Curvistan Bangkok, the team at Porsche Design Tower Bangkok also unveiled three distinct culinary zones to preview the exquisite kitchen spaces that buyers of the ultra-luxury apartments along prestigious Sukhumvit 38 can look forward to.

The professional kitchen, perfect for the nuances of Asian cuisine, delivers the high heat and precision control required for techniques like wok cooking and stir-frying. Complementing this is a state-of-the-art Western kitchen, offering versatility for global culinary exploration. Extending the gourmet experience outdoors, the integrated BBQ area completes this trifecta of culinary excellence.

Elevating the culinary experience is a suite of professional-grade equipment. Designed by Porche Design in collalboration with Arclinea under the direction of renowned architect Antonio Citterio, the kitchens in each suite blend performance and elegance with electrically-powered drawers and luxury appliances.

“At Porsche Design Tower Bangkok, we are committed to redefining unparalleled luxury living,” said Chanond Ruangkritya, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ananda Development. “This unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation is evident in every detail. We meticulously selecte the world’s finest kitchen elements and envision these culinary spaces as inspiring havens for creation and entertainment, offering residents an unparalleled experience within their own luxury suites.”

The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is the first building of its kind in Asia and the third globally. The project features 22 exclusive duplex and quadplex ‘Sky Villas’ ranging from 525 to 1,135 square meters, designed to set a new benchmark for luxury living. The groundbreaking concept is located on one of the most prestigious addresses in the capital city of Thailand. The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok distinguishes itself through a pioneering partnership between Porsche Design, renowned for its design excellence, and Ananda Development, acclaimed for its engineering prowess and meticulous attention to detail. Together, the two partners have conceived a future landmark with cutting-edge design and exquisite living spaces tailored to the authentic passions of its residents. Construction is set to be completed at the end of 2028.

87% of businesses in Taiwan face challenges with succession planning

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Media OutReach Newswire – 29 November 2024 – Global talent solutions provider Robert Walters Taiwan released a report exploring the state of succession planning in Taiwan. The report, titled Success in succession: Building a leadership pipeline to keep your business thriving, includes a survey of 253 organisations in Taiwan, which found that 87% of businesses face challenges with succession planning. Moreover, 54% of respondents claim that their organisations do not have a succession plan in place. Many companies that do have a plan (43%) also feel their existing strategy could be more effective.

Taiwan’s workforce is getting older and smaller

According to the National Development Council, Taiwan is set to transition into a “super-aged society” in 2025, where over 20% of the population is aged 65 years or older. The talent pool is shrinking as more experienced employees leave the workforce, which has significant implications for businesses’ succession planning efforts. While 39% of businesses surveyed by Robert Walters Taiwan were worried about replacing these senior, retiring talent, over half pointed to other more urgent concerns: the increased risk of losing critical skills and experience within the organisation (57%), and difficulties facilitating knowledge transfer and skills development for younger employees (55%).

John Winter, Country Manager of Robert Walters Taiwan points out, “An age-diverse workforce is more than inclusive—it’s a catalyst for innovation, resilience, and market relevance in today’s dynamic business landscape.”

Cultural challenges in Taiwan

Besides an ageing workforce, the survey reveals a range of other factors keep businesses from implementing effective succession planning. For most respondents, the primary barrier remains the senior talent shortage (49%), followed by cultural factors, particularly corporate management practices and traditions (33%).

Successful businesses are driven by exceptional leaders who inspire, innovate, and steer their teams toward sustained growth and progress. To cultivate a resilient leadership pipeline, organisations should prioritise developing key traits within their teams, including strategic thinking, effective decision-making, adaptability, and strong communication skills.

However, businesses in Taiwan face unique cultural challenges. According to the survey, values like maintaining harmony within organisations (66%), reluctance to challenge authority (58%), a deep-rooted adherence to Confucian principles (39%), and a strong family influence on business decisions (39%) all influence how leaders are identified, nurtured and promoted.

Sharon Chen, Associate Director of Robert Walters Taiwan comments, “Leadership transitions are pivotal in shaping a company’s future direction. In Taiwan, managing this process requires balancing traditional cultural hierarchies with organisational needs. Through open dialogue and a structured approach, companies can craft an effective succession plan and build a resilient leadership pipeline.”

Overcoming Barriers to Succession Planning in Taiwan

The scarcity of qualified talent, coupled with the rigid structures of many Taiwanese companies, creates significant obstacles to effective succession planning. Larger organisations often face the additional challenge of navigating intricate hierarchies, while specific talent needs vary by industry, adding further complexity.

John Winter – Country Manager, Robert Walters Taiwan says, “Effective succession planning is more than just filling positions – it’s about future-proofing your organisation. By aligning your strategy with the evolving business landscape and encouraging a culture of openness and continuous development, companies nurture leaders that are ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges.”

The report also provides guidance for businesses looking to put together, maintain, and assess the effectiveness of their succession plan through a variety steps, as outlined below:

  1. Establish key positions and business objectives
  2. Select high potential employees
  3. Evaluate employees’ readiness to advance into key positions
  4. Plan for employees’ individual development and retention
  5. Identify positions without successors and plan for positions that cannot be filled internally
  6. Review and communicate the plan regularly

The Success in succession: Building a leadership pipeline to keep your business thriving report surveyed 253 organisations in Taiwan over a four-week period in July and August 2024. Respondents came from a large variety of industries, including, but not limited to: fast-moving consumer goods, retail, healthcare, IT and digital transformation, manufacturing, and semiconductor. The survey aimed to gather insights from Taiwan’s professionals on how their organisations approach succession planning, as well as to explore broader perspectives on the state of succession planning in Taiwan.
