HiTHIUM Launches Three Breakthrough Innovations at Its Third Eco-Day, Unlocking an Intelligent Future with Long-Duration Energy Storage

XIAMEN, China, Dec. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — As Long-duration Energy Storage (LDES) becomes central to overcoming renewable intermittency and enabling all-weather green power, the third HiTHIUM Eco-Day was successfully concluded under the theme of “The Awakening of Energy • The New World” on December 12. The event brought together global LDES experts, AIDC (AI Data Center) industry leaders, and partners from across the energy ecosystem. The event also marked the global launch of three major innovations: the ∞Power8 6.9MW/55.2MWh 8-hour-native solution, the ∞Cell 1300Ah, dedicated 8h LDES Cell, and the ∞Power Solutions for AI Data Center, a full-duration collaborative lithium–sodium energy storage solution.

LDES Becomes as a Strategic Enabler for All-Weather Green Power

During the opening remarks, Co-founder and CEO of HiTHIUM, Jason Wang noted the core path to shift green power from “weather-dependent” to “stable and easy to use” is energy storage, especially LDES. To advance this vision, HiTHIUM officially launched the “All-Weather Green Power • 135 Lighthouse Plan.” Centered on LDES and guided by the mission of co-creating a new world of always-available green energy, the five-year initiative focuses on three action pillars—green intelligent computing, comprehensive storage deployment, and green power hubs—aiming to extend the “lighthouse light” of LDES across industries and let green energy benefit all.

Industry experts from around the world joined the discussion. Senior Analyst Alex Cipolla from Wood Mackenzie shared insights on global LDES trends, applications, and technology pathways. Cambodia Says Thai Bombing Continues After Trump Truce Call, Laos Appeals for Restraint

Laotian Times and AFP – Laos has expressed concern over the escalating border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand, urging both sides to exercise restraint and seek a peaceful resolution through dialogue.

In a statement issued on 11 December, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Laos, as a neighbouring country sharing borders with both Cambodia and Thailand, was closely monitoring the situation.

“The Lao PDR expresses concern over the ongoing conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. As a neighboring country with a border with both countries, the Lao PDR calls on both sides to exercise restraint, refrain from the use of force, in the spirit of goodwill and friendship as ASEAN member states, return to the bilateral agreement signed on 26 October, in Kuala Lumpur, and use existing mechanisms to find a peaceful solution to the problem,” the statement said.

Latest clashes

The appeal came as tensions continued to rise along the disputed Cambodia–Thailand border, with Phnom Penh saying on 13 December that Thai forces were still carrying out airstrikes hours after US President Donald Trump announced that the two sides had agreed to halt fighting.

The latest clashes between the Southeast Asian neighbours, which stem from a long-running dispute over the colonial-era demarcation of their 800-kilometre frontier, have displaced around half a million on both sides.

Each side had blamed the other for reigniting the conflict.

“On December 13, 2025, the Thai military used two F-16 fighter jets to drop seven bombs” on a number of targets, the Cambodian defense ministry said in an X post.

“Thai military aircraft have not stopped bombing yet,” it said.

It came after US President Donald Trump said Friday that Thailand and Cambodia had agreed to halt fighting along their disputed border, which has killed at least 20 people this week.

“I had a very good conversation this morning with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Anutin Charnvirakul, and the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Manet, concerning the very unfortunate reawakening of their long-running War,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

“They have agreed to CEASE all shooting effective this evening, and go back to the original Peace Accord made with me, and them, with the help of the Great Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim,” he said, referring to a deal made in July.

“Both Countries are ready for PEACE and continued Trade with the United States of America,” Trump noted, thanking Anwar for his assistance.

Anutin had said earlier, after his call with Trump: “It needs to be announced to the world that Cambodia is going to comply with the ceasefire.”

“The one who violated the agreement needs to fix (the situation), not the one that got violated,” Anutin said, adding that the call with Trump “went well”.

The United States, China and Malaysia, as chair of the regional bloc ASEAN, brokered a ceasefire in July after an initial five-day spate of violence.

Peaceful Means

In October, Trump backed a follow-on joint declaration between Thailand and Cambodia, touting new trade deals after they agreed to prolong their truce.

But Thailand suspended the agreement the following month after Thai soldiers were wounded by landmines at the border.

“Cambodia has always been adhering to peaceful means for dispute resolutions,” Hun Manet said in a Facebook post Saturday after his call with Trump.

He added that he had suggested the US and Malaysia could use their information gathering capabilities “to verify which side opened fire first” on 7 December.

Anutin said there were “no signs” Trump would connect further trade talks with the border conflict, but that he had guaranteed Thailand would get “better benefits than other countries”.

Anutin dissolved Thailand’s parliament on 12 December after three months in office, paving the way for general elections early next year.

AI Infrastructure Company EverMind Released EverMemOS, Responding to Profound Challenges in AI

SAN MATEO, Calif., Dec. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — AI infrastructure company EverMind has recently released EverMemOS, an open-source Memory Operating System designed to address one of artificial intelligence’s most profound challenges: equipping machines with scalable, long-term memory.

The Memory Bottleneck

For years, large language models (LLMs) have been constrained by fixed context windows, a limitation that causes “forgetfulness” in long-term tasks. This results in broken context, factual inconsistencies, and an inability to deliver deep personalization or maintain knowledge coherence. The issue extends beyond technical hurdles; it represents an evolutionary bottleneck for AI. An entity without memory cannot exhibit behavioral consistency or initiative, let alone achieve self-evolution. Personalization, consistency, and proactivity, which are considered the hallmarks of intelligence, all depend on a robust memory system.

There is a consensus that memory is becoming the core competitive edge and defining boundary of future AI. Yet existing solutions, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and fragmented memory systems, remain limited in scope, failing to support both 1-on-1 companion use cases and complex multi-agent enterprise collaboration. Few meet the standard of precision, speed, usability, and adaptability required for widespread adoption. Equipping large models with a high-performance, pluggable memory module remains a core unmet demand across AI applications.

Discoverative Intelligence

“Discoverative Intelligence” is a concept proposed in late 2025 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Chen Tianqiao. Unlike generative AI, which mimics human output by processing existing data, Discoverative Intelligence describes an advanced AI form that actively asks questions, forms testable hypotheses, and discovers new scientific principles. It prioritizes understanding causality and underlying principles over statistical patterns, a shift Chen argues is essential to achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).

Chen contrasted two dominant AI development paths: the “Scaling Path,” which relies on expanding parameters, data, and compute power to extrapolate within a search space, and the “Structural Path,” which focuses on the “cognitive anatomy” of intelligence and how systems operate over time.

Discoverative Intelligence falls into the latter category, built on a brain-inspired model called Structured Temporal Intelligence (STI) that requires five core capabilities in a closed loop: neural dynamics (sustained, self-organizing activity to keep systems “alive”), long-term memory (storing and selectively forgetting experiences to build knowledge), causal reasoning (inferring “why” events occur), world modeling (an internal simulation of reality for prediction), and metacognition & intrinsic motivation (curiosity-driven exploration, not just external rewards).

Among these capabilities, long-term memory serves as the vital link between time and intelligence, highlighting its indispensable role in the path toward achieving true AGI.

EverMind’s Answer

EverMemOS is EverMind’s answer to this need: an open-source Memory Operating System designed as foundational technology for Discoverative Intelligence. Inspired by the hierarchical organization of the human memory system, EverMemOS features a four-layer architecture analogous to key brain regions: an Agentic Layer (task planning, mirroring the prefrontal cortex), a Memory Layer (long-term storage, like cortical networks), an Index Layer (associative retrieval, drawing from the hippocampus), and an API/MCP Interface Layer (external integration, serving as AI’s “sensory interface”).

EverMemOS Four-layers Architecture
EverMemOS Four-layers Architecture

The system delivers breakthroughs in both scenario coverage and technical performance. It is the first memory system capable of supporting both 1-on-1 conversation use cases and complex multi-agent enterprise collaboration. On technical benchmarks, EverMemOS achieved 92.3% accuracy on LoCoMo (a long-context memory evaluation) and 82% on LongMemEval-S (a suite for assessing long-term memory retention), significantly surpassing prior state-of-the-art results and setting a new industry standard.

The open-source version of EverMemOS is now available on GitHub, with a cloud service version to be launched late this year. The dual-track model, combining open collaboration with managed cloud services, aims to drive industry-wide evolution in long-term memory technology, inviting developers, enterprises, and researchers to contribute to and benefit from the system.

About EverMind

EverMind is redefining the future of AI by solving one of its most fundamental limitations: long-term memory. Its flagship platform, EverMemOS, introduces a breakthrough architecture for scalable and customizable memory systems, enabling AI to operate with extended context, maintain behavioral consistency, and improve through continuous interaction.
