A cold snap is set to hit most of Laos this week as the result of a high-pressure system over the northern and central parts of the country.
According to the Meteorology and Hydrology Department, the forecast for November 7-10 will see cooler temperatures in northern and central areas, with lows of 13C, and highs at 27C.

While it is not likely to hit land, it is affecting weather patterns in the region, causing the wet weather in southern Laos.
Rain and fog is in the forecast for central and southern Laos, while Vientiane will see temperatures ranging from 24C to 26C.
