Gorilla Technology Converts Growth Into Cash: Q1 Revenue Up 55%, Operating Cash Flow Turns Positive & Full Year Guidance Raised

– Revenue grows 55% year on year, expanding to US$28.2 million
– Operating cash flow turns positive at US$6.6 million, a US$17.3 million improvement from Q1 2025
– Cash balance improves 373% year on year to US$98.4 million
– Full year 2026 revenue guidance range increased to US$160 million – US$200 million

London, United Kingdom – (Newsfile Corp. – May 27, 2026) – Gorilla Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ: GRRR) (“Gorilla” or the “Company”), a global solution provider in Security Intelligence, Network Intelligence, Business Intelligence, IoT technology and data centres, today announced financial results for the three months ended, 31st March 2026.

Key Highlights:

  • Revenue growth drives momentum: Q1 2026 revenue was US$28.2 million, compared with US$18.3 million in Q1 2025, representing growth of approximately 55% year on year.
  • Operating cash flow generation accelerates: Net cash from operating activities swung from US$(10.7) million in Q1 2025 to US$6.6 million in Q1 2026, a US$17.3 million improvement.
  • Strong cash position underpins future growth: Gorilla ended Q1 2026 with US$98.4 million of cash and cash equivalents, compared with US$20.8 million at March 31, 2025, an increase of approximately 373% year on year.
  • Egypt project delivering meaningful cash flow: During Q1, Gorilla collected significant cash from its Egypt project following the successful completion of key project milestones. Advance payment guarantees associated with completed project stages have been released, and the project is now progressing towards final implementation.
  • Reported IFRS loss distorted by non-cash and FX items: Reported IFRS operating loss was US$41.1 million, driven primarily by US$20.9 million of non-cash stock-based compensation and US$18.9 million of foreign currency exchange losses. These items do not reflect the underlying cash generation of the business.
  • Full year guidance increased: Gorilla has raised its guidance for full year 2026 revenue currently to be in the range of US$160 million – US$200 million, reflecting improved visibility across contracted backlog, scheduled delivery milestones and near-term executable opportunities.

Statement from Jay Chandan, Chairman and CEO:

“Gorilla’s Q1 2026 performance demonstrates the momentum and tangible results our strategy is creating. Our enterprise is delivering across all of its initiatives. We are building capacity, signing contracts, collecting cash and putting infrastructure on the ground.

“Our agreement with Yotta represents a meaningful milestone as we continue to deliver the next generation of AI infrastructure in the markets that matter to us most. We are already seeing real results from that partnership, and the opportunity represents a potential annualised revenue base of more than US$500 million, when GPU compute and associated infrastructure services are taken together That is why I view a US$500 million revenue target for next year as entirely achievable and the onus is on us to execute from here.

“In Thailand, we are advancing a 200MW AI data centre campus in Korat. We have paid the first installment on strategic land, we are working through the power and capacity plan and we are building the foundation for Gorilla’s owned AI infrastructure platform in Southeast Asia. This will allow us to address the key bottleneck in the region that our clients have mentioned—the lack of adequate data centre space. Korat is only the beginning, as we continue to establish leadership in this region.

“We are also pursuing additional capacity across Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines and the broader region, including Rayong and secured colocation facilities in Jakarta. When I look at the opportunities in front of us, I believe Gorilla has a credible path towards approximately 500MW of AI infrastructure capacity by the end of 2028. That is half a gigawatt of potential capacity, which is an exceptional output for any company, and when looking at our size, shows how we are punching far above our weight.

“Beyond the momentum we have around data centres, we are still building products, releasing new platforms, expanding our security and network intelligence capabilities and securing new opportunities in markets such as Taiwan. The infrastructure business gives us scale. The product business gives us differentiation. The combination gives us leverage.

This is why I am confident. We have signed demand. We have land. We have power plans. We have colocation capacity. We have GPU infrastructure. We have new products. We have new contracts. We have hired more than 100 employees & contractors to support delivery. The pieces are all in place. The ambition is obvious. The only question is execution and that is exactly what we are doing. The path is clear: execute against our backlog, deliver on customer commitments and translate our growing infrastructure platform into sustainable revenue, cash flow and long-term shareholder value.”

Statement from Bruce Bower, Chief Financial Officer:

“Q1 2026 was an important quarter for Gorilla’s cash conversion. Net cash from operating activities improved by US$17.3 million year on year to US$6.6 million, reflecting stronger collections, continued project execution and improved operating discipline. Revenue also increased 55% year on year to US$28.2 million, demonstrating that we are converting growth into cash.

“Gorilla ended Q1 2026 with US$98.4 million of cash and cash equivalents, compared with US$20.8 million at 31st March 2025, an increase of approximately 373% year on year. In addition, total debt remains at just $13.2 million. This liquidity position gives us a stronger foundation as we continue investing in AI infrastructure, GPU capacity, data centre execution and regional delivery capability.

“Reported IFRS profitability was affected by two major accounting items: US$20.9 million of non-cash stock-based compensation and US$18.9 million of foreign currency exchange losses. The stock-based compensation charge reflects an equity compensation event that has been disclosed to the market for several years and was finally expensed. It is non-cash and does not affect operating liquidity.

“The FX loss was due in large part to geopolitical events, which caused a sell-off in the currencies where we held large cash balances. It also must be viewed alongside the operational progress behind it. During Q1, Gorilla collected significant cash from Egypt, completed important project milestones and saw advance payment guarantees associated with completed stages released. In practical terms, the project continues to advance, we collected cash, and our guarantee exposure has been reduced. The statutory operating loss therefore does not reflect the underlying cash trajectory of the business. Revenue grew, operating cash flow turned positive, liquidity strengthened and the business continued ahead of our anticipated revenue ramp up.

“Based on current execution visibility, Gorilla now expects full year revenue for 2026 in the range of US$160 million to US$200 million, supported by contracted backlog, scheduled delivery milestones and near-term executable opportunities across AI infrastructure, public safety and enterprise technology programmes.”

Financial Outlook:

For full year 2026, Gorilla now expects revenue in the range of US$160 million to US$200 million. This outlook reflects the Company’s current view of contracted backlog, scheduled delivery milestones, expected project execution and visibility across its AI infrastructure, public safety and enterprise technology programmes.

CGTN: China and Serbia Call for Strengthened Artistic Exchanges and Deeper Friendship

BEIJING, CHINA – Media OutReach Newswire – 27 May 2026 – CGTN published an article highlighting cultural and artistic exchange as a booster in strengthening China-Serbia friendship. It underscores the effort by Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, in fostering artistic and cultural exchanges, while offering a broader view of the cultural and artistic activities in the two countries that serve to foster mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.

photo.png

Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Tamara Vucic, wife of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, visited Beijing Dance Academy on Monday.

In the dance studios, they observed with keen interest the teaching of Chinese dance, ballet and other dances. They then watched the students’ performances and had cordial exchanges with teachers and students in a lively and warm atmosphere.

Watching ballet practice and Chinese dance rehearsals, Peng said that dance art transcends national borders, conveys cultures and ideas, and plays a unique role in people-to-people exchanges and mutual learning.

Peng expressed hope that artists from both countries would strengthen exchanges and cooperation to create more outstanding works. Tamara Vucic also voiced her willingness to promote cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries and contribute to the deepening of Serbia-China friendship.

Art as a bridge of China-Serbia friendship

The exchange of arts has consistently played an important role throughout the history of China and Serbia’s friendship.

At the invitation of Tamara Vucic, Peng visited the National Museum of Serbia in 2024, the largest and oldest museum in the country. Peng and Tamara Vucic toured the museum’s painting exhibition together, watched demonstrations of traditional Serbian women’s hand weaving, and even tried making felt balls – souvenirs made of felt wool – which preserve the traditional and cultural heritage of Serbia.

During the visit, Peng repeatedly expressed appreciation for Serbian art and crafts, praising the exquisite and distinctive craftsmanship while noting the cultural heritage they carry. She expressed hope that cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Serbia would be enhanced, in order to build bridges for dialogue among civilizations.

Cultural and artistic exchanges have long been an integral part of relations between the two countries.

In 1955, Kolo, Serbia’s national ensemble, made its first visit to China, marking the beginning of a long-lasting friendship that has persisted to the present day.

In a photo exhibition that marks the 70th anniversary of the first China tour by Kolo in 2025, former Secretary of State for the Ministry of Culture of Serbia Lav Pajkic said cultural cooperation is an important component of Serbia-China relations.

Over the past 70 years, the civilizations of Serbia and China have appreciated one another and engaged in exchanges and mutual learning, once again reaffirming the ironclad friendship between the two countries, he added.

Cultural exchange boosts a shared future and common prosperity

Cultural exchanges in recent years have bloomed as China and Serbia’s strategic partnership continues to reach new heights.

In Chinese President Xi Jinping’s talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Xi emphasized that China and Serbia need to fully expand cooperation in culture, education, sports and tourism and at the subnational level, so as to carry forward the traditional friendship between the Chinese and Serbian peoples.

In 2024, Beijing People’s Art Theatre traveled to Belgrade to perform Our Jing Ke, a drama performance written by Nobel Prize Laureate Mo Yan, to show the Serbian people the artistic style and aesthetic expressions of Chinese performance arts. In January 2026, an exhibition showcasing China’s renowned Dehua porcelain opened in Belgrade, providing a window into traditional Chinese craftsmanship. In April, the Confucius Classroom at the Philological High School celebrated International Chinese Language Day by singing popular Chinese songs, practicing tai chi, and reciting their favorite passages of The Analects of Confucius.

These activities and art exhibitions have become important platforms and channels for China and Serbia to learn about each other.

According to a joint statement released after Xi and Vucic’s talks, the two countries will strive to open a new chapter in people-to-people exchanges and cultural integration. As a Serbian proverb goes, “Prijatelj je plod vremena” (friends are the fruits of time).

Dizal’s ZEGFROVY® (Sunvozertinib) New Drug Application Accepted and Granted Priority Review by China National Medical Products Administration for First-Line Treatment of EGFR Exon 20 Insertion-Mutated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

SHANGHAI, May 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Dizal (SSE:688192), a biopharmaceutical company committed to developing novel medicines for the treatment of oncology and hematological diseases, announced that the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has accepted and granted priority review to the New Drug Application (NDA) for ZEGFROVY® (sunvozertinib) for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 20 insertion mutations (exon20ins).

ZEGFROVY was granted accelerated approval previously by China’s CDE and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The new sNDA is based on the results of WU-KONG28 study, a confirmatory, multinational, randomized phase 3 study evaluating ZEGFROVY versus platinum-containing chemo doublet as first-line treatment in advanced NSCLC patients with EGFR exon20ins. The study met its primary endpoint with statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in Progression Free Survival (PFS). The detailed data will be presented as a Late-Breaking Abstract (LBA) oral presentation at the upcoming 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting.

“The NDA acceptance and priority review designation for ZEGFROVY in first-line EGFR exon20ins NSCLC is an important step forward for us to make the drug available to our patients globally,” said Dr. Xiaolin Zhang, CEO of Dizal. “Supported by positive results from WU-KONG28, we believe ZEGFROVY has the potential to be a practice-changing drug for this underserved patient population. We are working very hard to submit NDAs to other regulatory agencies globally as soon as possible.”

Lung cancer with EGFR exon20ins are particularly challenging to treat due to its high heterogeneity. Currently, the first-line treatment for EGFR exon20ins NSCLC largely relies on chemotherapy-based regimens. There remains an unmet need for effective, chemotherapy-free, oral targeted therapies for newly diagnosed patients.

Globally, no oral targeted therapies have been approved for the first-line treatment of EGFR exon20ins NSCLC. ZEGFROVY monotherapy has received Breakthrough Therapy Designations (BTDs) from both the U.S. FDA and China’s CDE for this treatment-naïve patient population.

About ZEGFROVY®(sunvozertinib)
ZEGFROVY is an irreversible EGFR inhibitor discovered by Dizal scientists targeting a wide spectrum of EGFR mutations with wild-type EGFR selectivity. ZEGFROVY is approved in the U.S. and China for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 20 insertion mutations (exon20ins), whose disease has progressed on or after platinum-based chemotherapy. The approval in China is based on the results of the pivotal WU-KONG6 study in platinum-based chemotherapy pretreated NSCLC with EGFR exon20ins. The U.S. approval is supported by WU-KONG1 Part B, a multinational pivotal study investigating the efficacy and safety of ZEGFROVY in the same indication.

In addition, ZEGFROVY also demonstrated encouraging anti-tumor activity in NSCLC patients with EGFR sensitizing, T790M, and uncommon mutations, as well as HER2 exon20ins.

ZEGFROVY showed a well-tolerated and manageable safety profile in the clinic. The most common drug-related TEAEs (treatment-emergent adverse event) were Grade 1/2 in nature and clinically manageable.

WU-KONG28, a multinational, randomized Phase 3 study conducted across 16 countries and regions evaluating ZEGFROVY as first-line treatment for patients with EGFR exon20ins NSCLC, met its primary endpoint.

Pre-clinical and clinical results of ZEGFROVY were published in peer-reviewed journals including Cancer Discovery, The Lancet Respiratory Medicine and Journal of Clinical Oncology.

Yi He Becomes First Crypto-Native Executive Named to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business List

Fortune’s Most Powerful Women list is one of the most established and closely watched rankings in global business. It has traditionally featured leaders from major multinational corporations and long-standing institutions. Yi’s debut on the list this year reflects both the growing influence of crypto and Binance’s role in shaping the future of finance and technology.

Yi has shaped Binance from the start. She co-founded the company in 2017 and has been central to its product vision, culture, and user-first approach ever since. In December 2025, she was appointed Co-CEO alongside Richard Teng, creating a dual-leadership structure that pairs her strategic and product expertise with his regulatory and operational leadership. Together, they guide Binance’s global strategy as the company enters its next phase of growth.

“Being named to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women list feels meaningful — not just for me, but for crypto as a whole,” said Yi He. “A few years ago, a founder from this industry showing up on a list like this would have been unusual. Today, it reflects how far we’ve come: from the edge of finance toward the center of how the world actually works.”

Yi’s path to this recognition is far from conventional. She grew up in a rural village in Sichuan without running water or electricity. At sixteen, she worked in a supermarket. She later became a television host, entered the tech industry, and taught herself English in her thirties before co-founding Binance. Within the crypto community, she is affectionately known as Binance’s ‘chief customer service officer.’ It is a reflection of the user-first philosophy that has defined her leadership.

This latest recognition also reflects the scale of the platform she helped build. Binance today serves more than 310 million registered users globally and remains the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and digital asset infrastructure provider. In 2025 alone, the platform processed $34 trillion in trading volume, bringing its cumulative all-time volume to $145 trillion by the end of 2025. The company is also expanding beyond crypto into a broader range of asset classes and financial services, consistent with its vision of building a financial super app for the digital economy.

“I’m honored by this recognition, and it only deepens my commitment to the 310 million people who place their trust in Binance every day — including a son in Nairobi sending wages home to his mother, and a woman in a small Indian city opening her first account at fifty. Finance has never been equally kind to everyone, and that trust is something we have to earn every day. I have never thought of my role as simply running a company. I think about how we serve the people the old system left behind — many of them women, many of them in places the world doesn’t always look at first.”

“Three hundred and ten million is a number we’re grateful for. It’s also a small fraction of the people this industry was built to serve. We’re working toward three billion — roughly everyone still outside the formal financial system today. A future where money moves as freely as information, where people, software, and AI agents share the same open economy, where no one needs permission to take part. That vision is what keeps me going. In many ways, it still feels like day one.”

Yi’s inclusion on Fortune’s list signals a broader shift in global business. Crypto is no longer seen only as an emerging sector. It is increasingly recognized as a force shaping finance, technology, and economic participation worldwide. Her recognition also expands the picture of what leadership can look like, creating greater visibility for women and founders from non-traditional backgrounds.

“In its 29th year, this iconic list of powerful women includes almost half from outside of the U.S., reminding us that the impact of women leadership is being seen globally,” said Alyson Shontell, Fortune Editor in Chief and Chief Content Officer in its official list reveal release. “These are women transforming business today and preparing for a future during a time of tumult and uncertainty, but also great promise.”

Five Alive, Two Still Trapped in Xaysomboun Cave

Rescuers confirmed on Wednesday that five villagers were found alive inside a flooded mine cave in Long Chaeng district, Xaysomboun province, after a week-long search. The survivors were reportedly hungry and exhausted but in stable condition. Authorities continue searching for the remaining two villagers.

Flash flooding trapped the group inside the cave on 20 May, sealing the entrance. Rescue teams from Laos and Thailand, including divers who participated in Thailand’s 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue, resumed operations early on 27 May.

At 7:07 a.m., rescuers, villagers, and officials held a traditional blessing ceremony before re-entering the cave. They presented chickens, incense, drinks, and other offerings in line with local spiritual customs. The timing carried symbolic significance: seven villagers had been trapped for seven days, and the ceremony coincided with the 27th day of the month.

In the afternoon, at 2:07 p.m., dive teams re-entered the cave to reach the deepest sections where the villagers were believed to be located.

The group reportedly entered the cave to search for gold and hunt wildlife, according to early reports. They initially attempted self-rescue, but after repeated failures, they sent a video via Facebook Messenger to a local influencer, who shared it publicly on 22 May.

Thai Rescue Help

A 26-member Thai rescue team arrived on 23 May to assist, supported by Lao volunteer associations.

Rescue efforts were hindered by narrow passages, submerged chambers, and unstable rock formations, with some tunnels as narrow as 50 centimeters. Continuous rainfall repeatedly raised water levels, forcing temporary suspensions.

Teams planned to map the cave in 3D, survey surrounding terrain for alternative access points, and identify methods to divert water. Engineers also considered using air shafts to deliver food, water, and communication equipment if conditions allowed.

Laos Telecom installed high-speed internet infrastructure at the site, enabling real-time video and image transmission to coordinate the operation.

Geologists and engineers cautioned that the Xaysomboun cave is more fragile than Thailand’s Tham Luang cave system, with weaker rock layers, higher water retention, and increased collapse risks during heavy rain.
