Tilda Targets Vietnam’s Industrial Energy Market with AI-Based ESS Optimization Solutions

SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Tilda, a South Korea–based AI optimization technology company, announced that it is accelerating its expansion into Vietnam in 2025, bringing its AI-based optimization solutions for self-consumption solar power and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to the country’s rapidly growing industrial sector.

As Vietnam expands renewable energy deployment amid rising electricity demand and increasing grid constraints, manufacturers and industrial park operators are seeking solutions that can reduce energy costs while maintaining operational stability. Tilda aims to address these challenges through its proprietary ArgMax Power platform, which applies artificial intelligence to both the design and operation of solar PV and ESS systems.

Tilda is currently engaging with local industrial park developers and EPC companies in Vietnam to support ESS investment decisions and operational optimization. The company is also discussing technical and business cooperation with VINAtech, a Korean enterprise with an established presence in Vietnam, to jointly introduce AI-based energy optimization solutions tailored to local industrial and regulatory conditions.

Vietnam is one of the most dynamic manufacturing and renewable energy markets in Southeast Asia,” said Ji Ryang Chung, CEO of Tilda. “As solar and ESS deployment accelerates, the key challenge is no longer installation, but how efficiently these assets are designed and operated. Our AI technology is designed to help Vietnamese manufacturers maximize cost savings, reduce peak demand, and achieve meaningful progress toward RE100 and carbon reduction goals.”

ArgMax Power integrates two core functions: optimal system design at the investment stage and real-time AI control during operation. By simultaneously reducing total electricity consumption and peak demand, the platform enables electricity cost savings of up to 30 percent, even for facilities with existing solar and ESS infrastructure.

The effectiveness of Tilda’s technology has already been validated in Japan, where the energy market is rapidly transitioning to self-consumption models. In a 2025 pilot project at a manufacturing facility in Okayama City equipped with 200kW of solar PV and 200kWh of ESS, Tilda conducted a comparative operation under identical conditions. While a conventional Power Management System recorded an average monthly peak demand of 127.53kW, Tilda’s AI control reduced peak demand to 82.58kW without impacting production. For a factory with an annual electricity bill of approximately USD 115,000, this resulted in additional annual savings of around USD 25,000.

Beyond operational control, Tilda offers a cloud-based Optimal Quotation and Simulation Service to support data-driven investment planning. By analyzing historical electricity usage and site data, the platform simulates load, solar generation, grid usage, and ESS state of charge over a full year, enabling enterprises to clearly assess capital expenditure requirements and expected operational savings.

Tilda’s global expansion is supported by an overseas expansion assistance program operated by Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, reinforcing the company’s efforts to introduce AI-driven energy optimization solutions to international markets, with Vietnam positioned as a core growth hub.

2nd MOTIFX – Embracing the Beauty of Chinese Culture Culture to Nature – A Surreal Garden of Botanical Patterns

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 22 December 2025 – Following the critical acclaim of its inaugural edition, the 2nd MOTIFX – Embracing the Beauty of Chinese Culture returned from 4–6 December 2025 at DesignInspire, with major presentations continuing throughout 2026.

2nd MOTIFX – Embracing the Beauty of Chinese Culture Culture to Nature – A Surreal Garden of Botanical Patterns

Organised by the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) under the Vocational Training Council (VTC) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), MOTIFX invites emerging designers to reinterpret traditional Chinese motifs for contemporary contexts, seamlessly integrating historical patterns into modern objects, interiors, and lifestyle products while deepening new generations’ engagement with their cultural heritage.

The 2nd MOTIFX – Embracing the Beauty of Chinese Culture invites designers to explore the mystical side of Chinese characters, with a particular focus on Radical Grass (艹 / 艸) and its evocative connection to a surreal world of nature. While respectfully acknowledging the cultural and philosophical differences between Eastern and Western traditions, the project embraces nature’s whimsy and dreamlike beauty with open delight

This inspiration gives birth to the central theme: Culture to Nature – A Surreal Garden of Botanical Patterns. Curated by Michael LEUNG, the exhibition brings together numerous design students and local designers who are in studies across diverse disciplines to rediscover the vibrant potential of Chinese characters. In doing so, it redefines the relationship between cultural heritage and the natural world, resulting in an imaginative collection of patterns and design works that vividly capture the theme.

A key highlight is the immersive installation Surreal Garden, created by designers Moon.noon and Stickyline. Inspired by “Radical Grass” motifs designed by these young creatives, the duo transforms two-dimensional patterns into a multi-sensory experience. Visitors move seamlessly from the physical space into a digital dreamscape, journeying through the four seasons guided by the 24 traditional solar terms — from the blossoming of spring to the retreat of winter — tracing the boundless rhythms of nature.

This surreal journey continues throughout the exhibition, which showcases over 100 original patterns created by local design students, each derived from the 艹 radical. Like countless flowers blooming in a shared field, these works express diverse creative voices, yet all are rooted in the same ancient, ever-living origin — the enduring 艹 .

DesignInspire 2025 was transformed into this fantastical garden woven from Chinese characters and nature’s boundless poetry — and let your imagination take flight.

Curator: Michael LEUNG
Born in Hong Kong, Michael LEUNG earned his Master’s degree from Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, where he later founded Studio AA (previously MIRO). His practice spans graphic, product, and spatial design, often exploring the intersections of craftsmanship and industry, local culture, and sustainability. Recipient of the Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award and Perspective 40 Under 40, his work has been showcased at Milan Design Week, Dutch Design Week, and other major international exhibitions. In recent years, he has collaborated with institutions such as the Vitra Design Museum (Germany) and the V&A (UK), extending his creative vision into exhibition curation.

Participating Artist: Moon.noon
Moon.noon (KONG Fan-leung) is a real-time visual artist who masterfully blends data-driven storytelling with immersive audio-visual and sensory experiences. A former user-experience designer, he now transforms complex sources — climate data, urban landscapes, audience interaction — into powerfully evocative visual languages. His works have appeared at M+, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, West Kowloon Freespace Jazz Festival, and in collaborations with Coca-Cola, LG, and Samsung.

Participating Artist: STICKYLINE
Founded in 2011 by Hong Kong creative artists Mic LEONG and Soilworm LAI, STICKYLINE is celebrated for its large-scale polyhedral sculptures that reveal the beauty of creative engineering, mathematics, and geometry. Working primarily with paper and metal, and integrating kinetics, sound, and light, the duo produces minimalist, durable, and strikingly futuristic installations, site-specific works, and private commissions that have earned widespread acclaim in the design world over the years.

Moroso × HKDI Furniture Collaboration Project

The exhibition showcases a creative collaboration between renowned Italian luxury furniture brand Moroso and design students from the HKDI’s Department of Architecture, Interior and Product Design (AIP). Together, they present the forward-looking project with MOTIFX patterns printed on the fabrics to “Designing Clothes for Furniture Objects.”

This initiative reimagines furniture as living bodies to be dressed, where textiles and soft elements become expressive garments. Moving beyond surface aesthetics, students explore adaptability, sensory depth, and emotional resonance, while engaging with ideas of circularity, modularity, and service-oriented design. The design challenge invites them to create interchangeable and upgradeable “furniture garments” that respond to personal habits, environments, and even special occasions.

Wong To Yick Wood Lock Medicated Balm: A Hong Kong Legacy Spanning Over Half a Century

Brand Heritage

“Pain stems from blockage; relief comes from flow.” This ancient Chinese medical philosophy has been the lifelong guiding principle of Mr. Wong To Yick, founder of Wong To Yick Wood Lock Medicated Balm. As an iconic Hong Kong brand established in the 1960s and now in its second generation of leadership, Wong To Yick has remained steadfast in its original mission through decades of societal change, upholding the artisan spirit of “mastering one craft with relentless dedication”.

In 1950s, Mr. Wong began his journey from a humble herbal tea shop in Sham Shui Po, combining decades of medical expertise with the essence of traditional Chinese medicine. Through rigorous clinical trials and formula refinement, he developed this revolutionary liniment with unparalleled penetrating efficacy in 1968. From grassroots word-of-mouth recognition to becoming an internationally renowned authority in Chinese herbal medicine, the product’s “activate circulation, relieve pain” benefits have made it a testament to Hong Kong’s excellence in traditional medicine.

The brand is built on three core values:

  • Efficacy: Time-tested formulas rooted in ancient wisdom
  • Safety: Naturally sourced herbs with rigorously monitored production
  • Trust: Uncompromising quality consistency for 50+ years

Fosun International Honored with TVB’s Highest Accolade, “Outstanding ESG Award”

HONG KONG, Dec. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — On 19 December 2025, the TVB ESG Awards 2025 Presentation Ceremony, hosted by Television Broadcasts Limited (“TVB”), was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Fosun International was honored with the highest accolade, the “Outstanding ESG Award”, as well as awards for “Best in ESG Practices” and “Best in ESG Report”.

Mr. Wong Wai Lun, Michael, GBS, JP, Deputy Financial Secretary of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), Mr. Siu Sai Wo, General Manager (Business Operations) of TVB and Dr. Lawrence Cheung Chi-chong, Chief Technology Officer of Hong Kong Productivity Council served as officiating guests at the awards ceremony and jointly presented the “Outstanding ESG Award” to Fosun International.

TVB pointed out that Fosun International’s recognition with the “Outstanding ESG Award”, “Best in ESG Practices” and “Best in ESG Report” is well-deserved. After more than 30 years of development, Fosun has developed into a large global company with operations spanning healthcare, tourism, consumption, and insurance. With a robust global industrial ecosystem, Fosun operates responsibly in over 40 countries and regions, actively contributing to public welfare and creating sustainable value worldwide.

TVB highlighted that the awards recognize Fosun International’s outstanding performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and sustainability, while affirming its excellent achievements in ESG over the past year. Each award is presented to the top three scorers in their respective categories, with organizations excelling in both “ESG Practices” and “ESG Report” eligible for the highest accolade, the “Outstanding ESG Award”.

In addition to Fosun International, other recipients of TVB’s highest accolade, the “Outstanding ESG Award”, are all organizations that have demonstrated excellence in ESG. These include government statutory bodies, major public utilities, and well-known companies such as the Airport Authority Hong Kong, MTR Corporation, Schneider Electric, China State Construction Development Holdings Limited, and Riskory Consultancy Limited.

Ms. Angel Sze, Company Secretary and Head of ESG Management Committee of Fosun International, accepted the “Outstanding ESG Award” on behalf of the company and subsequently joined representatives from other award-winning organizations in a panel discussion to share Fosun International’s ESG practices and achievements.

Driven by innovation, committed to social contribution

During the discussion, Angel Sze remarked, “Fosun remains committed to innovation-driven development and globalization. Since its establishment, Fosun has stayed true to its original aspiration of ‘Contribution to Society’, striving to create positive societal impact through its operations. Taking our Health segment as an example, we target original innovation to address unmet clinical needs. By continuously strengthening our independent R&D and innovation capabilities, we strive to deliver higher-quality, more accessible, and more affordable medicines and services to patients.”

Fosun adheres to an innovation-driven strategy, and the anticancer drugs developed by its Health segment have widely benefited cancer patients. Among them, HANSIZHUANG, an innovative anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody independently developed by Fosun, is the world’s first anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody approved for the first-line treatment of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). To date, it has been approved for marketing in nearly 40 countries and regions, including China, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and India.

Since the beginning of this year, Fosun has achieved multiple breakthroughs in the field of innovative drugs. HLX43, a PD-L1-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), is undergoing clinical studies for solid tumors such as non-small cell lung cancer and thymic carcinoma in countries including China, the United States, and Australia. Currently, no PD-L1 ADC has been approved globally, positioning HLX43 as a potential highly effective and safe broad-spectrum anticancer drug.

On 7 December, the National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) released the 2025 national medical insurance drug list, which includes multiple marketed products from Fosun Pharma. Moreover, the highly anticipated inaugural edition of the commercial insurance innovative drug list was unveiled, featuring Fosun Pharma’s CAR-T cell therapy Yi Kai Da (ejilunsai injection). The successful inclusion of innovative drugs underscores national support for pharmaceutical innovation and paves the way for market promotion and patient access.

Fosun’s innovation capabilities have also received high recognition from global pharmaceutical companies. On 9 December, Fosun Pharma announced that its subsidiary had entered into a license agreement with Pfizer, granting Pfizer exclusive worldwide license for the development, use, manufacturing, and commercialization of oral small-molecule glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) agonists, including YP05002, and any products containing such oral small molecule GLP-1R agonists as an active ingredient.

At the same time, Fosun actively integrates global resources to accelerate the introduction of cutting-edge medical technologies in China, enhancing the accessibility and affordability of medical technologies. By the end of September 2025, over 480 Da Vinci surgical systems had been installed in more than 370 hospitals across the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong SAR, and Macau SAR, collectively serving over 810,000 patients.

Centering on “Health” as a global public issue, Fosun launched the Rural Doctors Program in 2017. Since its launch, the Program has supported 25,000 rural doctors and benefited 3 million rural families. It was honored as one of the United Nations Global Compact’s “20 Cases of Private Sector’s Sustainable Development in China for 20 Years”, earning international recognition as a model for empowering rural healthcare.

Actively responding to climate change and attaching great importance to biodiversity conservation

With climate change being one of the most severe long-term risks, Fosun recognizes the importance of global cooperation to tackle this challenge. Fosun remains committed to advancing China’s “dual carbon” goals by promoting carbon neutrality and energy conservation and emission reduction. In 2021, Fosun made a commitment to society – “strive to peak carbon emissions by 2028 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050”. Fosun has formulated strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation to align with the 1.5°C temperature control target set in the Paris Agreement.

The Group also actively encourages its member companies to carry out climate actions. In 2024, the Bund Finance Center (BFC), the Group’s main office location in Shanghai and a landmark in Shanghai, was successfully included in Shanghai’s first batch of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality pilot demonstration projects, becoming the only large-scale commercial complex exceeding 200,000 square meters on the list.

In 2024, Fidelidade, Fosun’s insurance company in Portugal, established the Impact Center For Climate Change (ICCC), a knowledge center dedicated to climate change research. Through collaborations with external entities, including universities, research centers, and public institutions, it provides scientific insights on the impacts of climate change on society, particularly in the insurance industry.

In addition to actively addressing climate change, Fosun also places great importance on biodiversity conservation. Since 2018, the Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis Sanya, a subsidiary of Fosun Tourism Group (FTG), has been dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating sea turtles in Hainan Province and its surrounding waters. As of 2024, the aquarium had rescued 24 sea turtles and held 6 sea turtle release events since its opening, returning 10 rehabilitated turtles to the ocean.

On 28 November, FTG hosted “Fosun Holiday Horizon 2026” at Atlantis Sanya, where it signed a partnership agreement with the Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences (NIES) of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE). The two parties will incorporate biodiversity conservation and habitat creation into Club Med resorts, jointly developing China’s first “biodiversity resort” centered on the concept of “harmonious coexistence between humans and nature”.

Empowering a sustainable future through globalization and innovation

Looking ahead, Fosun will remain focused on its core businesses, step up innovation efforts, and firmly advance its globalization strategy, creating greater value for shareholders, employees and society. At the same time, Fosun will continue to closely follow global sustainability trends, continuously refine its ESG management, actively respond to national strategies, ensure information security, promote technology innovation, implement “dual carbon” goals, participate in public welfare undertakings, and protect employees’ rights and interests. Leveraging the resources and advantages of its global industrial ecosystem, Fosun endeavors to make a greater impact on sustainable development and continuously contribute to a better world.

Changsoft I&I Expands Presence in Japan Through Local Joint Venture and BIM Localization

TOKYO and SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Changsoft I&I, a provider of Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions for the construction industry, is expanding its presence in Japan through a locally integrated joint venture strategy focused on alignment with Japanese standards and construction practices.

Founded in 2008, Changsoft I&I develops BIM software that integrates design, construction, and maintenance data into a single 3D model. Its solutions automatically convert 2D architectural drawings into detailed 3D structural models and precisely calculate quantities for reinforcement, concrete, and formwork, including advanced reinforcement detailing. These capabilities support improved accuracy and efficiency across complex construction projects.

As part of its international growth strategy, Changsoft I&I identified Japan as a key market due to sustained urban redevelopment activity and demand for advanced construction technologies. Recognizing the importance of local collaboration, the company chose a joint venture model rather than direct market entry to ensure close alignment with local technical standards and industry practices.

In June 2023, Changsoft I&I established BnB Solutions, a joint venture with BSI, a Japan-based engineering venture originating from Tokyo Institute of Technology. Formed with equal ownership, the joint venture operates as a locally positioned entity responsible for product localization, customer engagement, and market development in Japan. The JV was supported by an overseas expansion assistance program jointly operated by Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT, NIPA, and GDIN, providing structured support for legal, intellectual property, and market entry activities.

A core priority for BnB Solutions has been the localization of Changsoft I&I’s BIM solutions to fully conform with Japanese structural design standards, terminology, documentation formats, and construction workflows. While construction regulations may appear similar across markets, differences in design logic and on-site processes required comprehensive redevelopment. Over nearly one year, the joint venture refined the software through multiple development stages, completing a Japan-optimized version in July last year.

Among the localized features is an automated function that detects and visually identifies rebar interference during the reinforcement detailing phase. This issue has traditionally required manual correction on construction sites. By enabling early identification of interference points, the solution helps reduce rework and supports more efficient coordination between design and construction teams. The functionality has drawn growing interest from Japanese construction and engineering firms.

BnB Solutions is currently engaged in discussions with multiple Japanese companies, with initial purchase requests already received. The joint venture aims to secure approximately ten client companies by March next year and establish a stable revenue base in the Japanese market.

Changsoft I&I’s COO Jongeun Park stated, “Through the joint venture, we can work as a locally aligned partner and adapt our solutions to established standards. We aim to support more efficient and reliable construction processes through long-term collaboration.”

Building on its progress in Japan, Changsoft I&I plans to extend its joint venture–based expansion model to additional regions, while continuing to prioritize locally grounded partnerships and sustainable growth.
