Bill Deng, Founder and CEO of XTransfer, together with the company’s management team, will engage intensively in showcases and closed-door sessions at both venues. They will share insights on topics including AI risk control and operations, the practical rollout of inclusive finance, the internationalisation of Chinese fintech enterprises, and local currency settlement in emerging markets. During the events, the company will also hold strategic cooperation signing ceremonies with multiple international financial institutions, further expanding its global clearing network and multi-currency settlement capabilities, delivering a more secure, faster, and lower-cost cross-border payment experience for SMEs across the region and worldwide. During the shows, XTransfer will also release the “X-NET White Paper” on the B2B trade settlement network and risk control system for SMEs.

Since entering the Hong Kong market in 2023, XTransfer has continued to provide local foreign trade SMEs with cross-border financial services, including global collections, payments, and foreign exchange. The XTransfer-to-XTransfer (X2X) payment service enables buyers and sellers to complete “Account-to-Account” fund transfers through the XTransfer platform, achieving secure, compliant, and twenty-four-seven instant payment similar to local transfers. This significantly reduces handling fees and FX costs, and notably improves operating capital efficiency and stability of cash turnover.

In Singapore and the ASEAN market, XTransfer continues to accelerate its expansion. This year, the company obtained a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and launched local services in Singapore. Leveraging the institutional and infrastructural strengths of Hong Kong and Singapore, two international financial hubs, XTransfer is rapidly enabling multiple local currencies settlement capabilities. Its services now cover regions and countries across North America, the Eurozone, Australia, ASEAN, Latin America, and Africa, supporting over 30 local currencies. This helps alleviate transaction frictions arising from USD shortages in emerging markets, reduces forced FX conversions and exchange losses by correspondent banks, and enables SMEs to settle in ways closer to buyers’ local practices.

Ampace at All Energy 2025:Advancing Safer, Smarter, and Longer-Lasting Energy Storage for Australia

MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Ampace, a global energy storage innovator, is unveiling its latest breakthroughs in battery and energy storage technology at All Energy Australia 2025 (Booth GG123, MCEC). The company introduces its mass-produced semi-solid-state LFP battery cells — marking a major leap from lab to large-scale deployment — empowering businesses and households to achieve safer, denser, and more sustainable energy solutions.

Australia’s rapid renewable energy adoption brings new challenges in solar utilization, grid stability, and storage safety. To meet these needs, Ampace delivers innovative battery technologies that maximize system performance, long-lasting solutions that reduce lifecycle costs, and advanced safety designs that ensure reliable operation — tailored to the demands of Australian industrial and residential users. Backed by global R&D strength, Ampace delivers world-class innovations to support Australia’s clean energy future.

Powering Innovation: From Semi-Solid Cells to Smarter Systems

At this year’s All Energy Australia, Ampace spotlights its semi-solid-state LFP battery cells — engineered to prevent leakage and eliminate fire risks. Integrated into the PU200 system, the technology enables 20% higher energy density and 10C discharge performance, setting a new benchmark in energy reliability and safety.

As Australia accelerates its renewable transition, demand for high-density and space-efficient storage continues to rise. Ampace’s Kunlun Series and C&I systems maintain consistent output even under extreme environmental conditions, unlocking greater flexibility for both on-grid and off-grid operations.

Delivering Long-Term Value: Extended Lifespan and Lower Costs

Beyond innovation and safety, Ampace’s technologies are engineered to deliver lasting economic benefits. The Kunlun Series offers up to 15,000 charge cycles — nearly double the industry average — supports a service life of up to 20 years. Integrated into the UniC Series, Ampace’s all-in-one solution for high-power industrial and commercial use, these cells combine ultra-long endurance with high efficiency. Featuring Zero Liquid Cooling and Zero Air Conditioning, the system reduces lifetime energy consumption while requiring minimal maintenance — just once a year. This longevity and efficiency reduce mid-life replacements, operational risks, and total lifecycle electricity costs by up to 30%, providing Australian businesses and households with high returns on their energy investments.

Built for Steady Safety: Reliable Performance in Extreme Conditions

With grid reliability and fire prevention being key concerns for Australian energy users, safety is central to Ampace’s design philosophy. Its semi-solid-state LFP technology eliminates electrolyte leakage and maintains stable performance across harsh conditions, from heatwaves to storms.

Safety is engineered into every cell. Integrated into the PU200 and PR-S4 systems, these cells are further reinforced by real-time monitoring, giving users confidence in reliable operation.

Visit Booth GG123 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on October 29–30 to see Ampace’s latest technologies in action and discover how they help power a safer, more efficient, and sustainable energy future for Australia.

Five social service agencies join Singapore’s shingles awareness movement

The first-of-its-kind community awareness movement, supported by GSK, aims to provide seniors and caregivers with information about shingles, its health risks, and available preventive measures.

SINGAPORE, Oct. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Five social service agencies — Diabetes Singapore, Lion Befrienders, Presbyterian Community Services, SASCO, and TOUCH Community Services —launched Singapore’s first-of-its-kind shingles awareness movement at a 1960s/1970s nostalgia-themed event, “Shielding from Shingles”. The initiative encourages older adults and their caregivers to learn more about shingles and discuss any health concerns with their doctors.

The event, organised by GSK and held at The GlassDome in Far East Square, tapped on the community networks of the five social service agencies and welcomed more than 100 seniors from the ageing centres. Caregivers and local celebrities, the OG Gang (Mediacorp Artistes – Chen Shu Cheng, Richard Low, and Zhu Hou Ren) and Cynthia Koh, joined in the activities that reflect a multi-generational, community-driven approach to shingles education designed to help bring down the barriers to seniors discussing the impact of shingles.

Speaking at the event, a medical expert shared the possible complications of shingles and highlighted that those with pre-existing health conditions such as diabetes1 and chronic kidney disease2 face a higher risk of severe outcomes. This is especially relevant in Singapore, where at least 21.8% of older adults aged 60 and older live with diabetes,3 and heart attack incidence is projected to nearly triple from 2025 to 2050.4

Shingles, also known as herpes zoster, affects approximately 30,000 individuals in Singapore each year.5 In addition, over 90% of individuals in Singapore aged 50 years or over carry the chickenpox virus, which may later reactivate as shingles,6 putting them at risk of the disease. Despite the relatively high risk, a local survey reported in August this year has shown that only one in four has consulted or intended to speak with their doctors.7 The current gap between awareness of shingles and taking action to mitigate risk among the senior population highlights the urgent need to go beyond traditional means for disease education.

In a panel discussion at the event, celebrity Cynthia Koh shared an emotional personal account as a caregiver for her mother during a severe shingles episode in 2014, which was complicated by Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. In an earlier panel, the OG Gang shared their understanding of the disease as well as personal views on active and healthy ageing.

Engaging well-known personalities, the event not only drew attention to the health issue but also made the conversation more relatable for seniors and their caregivers, nudging them closer to speaking with their doctors.

The afternoon event also featured familiar, nostalgia-invoking experiential booths, including a realistically modelled kampong-style coffee shop, an oversized “Shingles and Ladders” floor boardgame, and shingles pain and scar simulation totems and bench. At these booths, seniors could engage with representations of the effects of shingles, fostering the much-needed conversations about the disease.

Recognising the importance of community involvement, the five social service agencies saw the need in building awareness and nudging older adults aged 50 years or over to take charge of their health and take action to protect oneself or loved ones against preventable diseases.

Priscilla Gan, Executive Director, Diabetes Singapore, said, “Diabetes Singapore is proud to partner with GSK and fellow social service agencies in this meaningful movement to raise awareness of shingles. Seniors with diabetes face a higher risk of severe complications from shingles, yet many remain unaware. By engaging seniors through events like this, we hope to encourage more people to speak with their doctors and empower them to take charge of their health.”

Karen Wee Siew Lin, Executive Director, Lions Befrienders Service Association, commented, “I have met many seniors who live with quiet strength —  but the pain of shingles can take away their joy, independence, and confidence. At Lions Befrienders, we want seniors to live without fear, knowing that prevention can protect not just their health, but their everyday moments of laughter and love.”

Presbyterian Community Services (PCS) spokesperson shared, “PCS is proud to have been a key partner in “Shielding from Shingles”. Recognising that approximately 30,000 people are affected by shingles annually,5 PCS is committed to bridge the gap between awareness and action. We believe community involvement is vital for positive health changes and remain dedicated to empowering community members toward a healthier, more active life.”

Seak Poh Leong, Group CEO SASCO, expressed, “Understanding the risk of shingles and taking proactive steps empowers the elderly to safeguard their health, proving that knowledge and responsibility go hand in hand in ageing gracefully.”

Mr James Tan, Chief Executive Officer, TOUCH Community Services, said, “TOUCH is thankful for this partnership with GSK, which raises awareness of health issues that often go unnoticed, such as shingles, among our seniors. We believe that our seniors are best supported when the community comes together to do good. Through such meaningful collaborations, we can empower seniors to take charge of their health and enjoy a better quality of life as they age.”

Together, these efforts reflect a multi-generational, community-driven approach to shingles education —  one that combines trusted social networks, relatable personal stories, expert medical guidance, and interactive learning to empower seniors to take proactive steps in safeguarding their health.

NX Group Significantly Enhances Tracing Capabilities of Digital Forwarding Service “e-NX Visibility” for U.S. Rail Transport

TOKYO, Oct. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. has substantially upgraded the tracing functions of its digital forwarding service “e-NX Visibility” for U.S. domestic rail transport and began offering these enhancements in October 2025. With this enhancement, customers can now directly confirm, on “e-NX Visibility,” detailed, real-time rail transport status across the entire process — from loading at the departure station to unloading at the arrival station — where previously only limited information such as the cargo’s current location was available.

e-NX Visibility: https://e-nx.nipponexpress.com/

User screen images:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mxPEEiac_Jrvg6LazJ4dbsnwRlNUId-z/view?usp=drive_link

-Progressive enhancement of e-NX Visibility’s U.S. rail transport tracing capabilities
Rail transport in the United States has traditionally relied on trace data provided by shipping companies to ascertain the transport status of cargo once it has been unloaded at ports, so obtaining detailed transport history and real-time location information between the departure and arrival stations has proven challenging. The unavailability of timely information has also made it difficult to respond promptly to rail delays.

In January 2025, the NX Group introduced a system that enables real-time display of the current location of U.S. domestic rail shipments. Starting in October 2025, customers can directly view, on the “e-NX Visibility” screen, a more detailed event history for U.S. domestic rail shipments, including train departure and arrival times and cargo loading and unloading times.

-Features offered by new functions
By using a container number or a bill of lading (B/L) number as a key to search transport status information, a shipment’s entire transport history from loading at the departure station to unloading at the arrival station can be displayed chronologically in a timely manner. The system’s data covers the time from the train’s arrival to the completion of loading at the departure station, the arrival and departure times at intermediate stations, the time the train arrives at the unloading station and the time until unloading is completed. This enables customers to monitor the status of their cargo on the e-NX Visibility screen in a timely and accurate fashion.

The NX Group is accelerating the digital transformation of international transport operations using information and digital technology to help customers visualize and optimize their full supply chains. This recent expansion of the Group’s U.S. domestic rail transport trace capabilities will permit greater transparency and faster decision-making in global logistics as the Group continues providing new value to its customers around the world.
